Love coming here. By far the fastest subway ive been to. It seems that some people who complain have clearly never worked in fast food. Id have to say by far my favorite is melissa shes very friendly. Brandi would have to be my 2nd. Shes quiet and can come off as a bitch almost but the second you talk to her shes as friendly as ever and has a good sense of humor. Its not really fair for her to be judged by her expression(just my opinion) i dont really care if an employee does or doesnt smile while making my food/taking my order. Theres bigger things to worry about than not getting a smile haha

The reason this place is getting 2 stars because of Brandi. I believe that’s her name(red hair, blue eyes). This girl is by far the rudest human working for Subway. I believe in having bad days BUT I go to subway more than 6 times a month(pregnant)and every single time I walk in this place she is always upset! Never smiles! And is always worried if someone is done with their break and/or lunch. She was next to make my sandwich but I asked the young lady on that shift to PLEASE make my sandwich and my children. Brandi tosses veggies across, while others are making sandwiches she doesn’t care and crosses her arms across them over OUR sandwiches and grabs veggies. She makes the messiest sandwiches because she is not only unhappy with her job, but hates dealing with people. She rushes people in to saying what is the next veggie they want by being pushy«ok what’s next, ok what’s next. Excuse me WHAT’S NEXT!» in a stern voice. I’m so over this girl. She needs to be retrained or GOHOME!

Perhaps this location is benefitting from my experience at a different Subway location earlier today. Due to Unilocal policy on cross-promotion; I invite any of you interested in reviewing the OTHER Subway critique I provided, but I digress… Once I arrived at this Subway in Paramount, I realized, like Dorothy, that sometimes there’s no place ike home! First, I like this place because it’s clean. Not that I’d be enjoying a noce Veggie Delight off the linoleum flooring, but they seem to extend a good effort ensuring the place doesn’t look like a s#!tstorm of sloppy customers just came through! In fact, I am always impressed at how well this location maintains cleanliness EVERYTIME I’ve been there. It makes me feel confident that they follow a reasonable set of sanitary standards. That’s not alway the case in some Subway loctions(in nearby South Bay cities… near an airport… and a State University… VERY close to Bellflower Blvd and Willow St…). Both of the employees behind the counter seemed relaxed, but not unprofessional. They both had great attitudes but what was most impressive was the manner in which they worked together to complete orders and make the process seem, well, choreographed. Both of the young men did an excellent job at confirming our order requests and while they were both very efficient and speedy, at no time did I feel hurried. They asked, they listened, they confirmed and they completed. It was really impressive. Now, I’m not going to try to oversell the quality of the food, but I will say it WAS a good meal and was well prepared. Look, it’s not the damn Cordon Bleu, but thy DO make a #e! of a sandwich! I’m sure that some of the previous reviews for this location have reasons for the lower ratings. I’m not going to knock someone’s bad review(I’ve certainly written my share of cr@ppy commentaries — always earned/deserved in my opinion well, because after all, it IS an opinion)! What I do want to make clear is that I’ve been to this location MANY times and it is ALWAYS an experience like the one I’ve described above. I wrote this today because the really S#!TTY service I got at a different location prompted me to return to the Paramount Subway… and I am all the more thankful to express my satisfaction today!

Firstly i dont know what everyones problem is but ive been coming here for years and the staff here are just fine. Granted theyre not overly happy but have you ever worked at a subway? Its beyond horrible. So these kids are doing their damn best with what they have. The staff is serious but most of them will have a nice back and forth with you if you start up a convo. Now for the record LIZ is an awfully rude person whos review should not even be taken into consideration. I mean really«guy who looks like he has shit on his upper lip»??? How rude can you be? Do you write about people with deformities the same way? Secondly Brandi is not rude at all. In fact she works fairly hard and ive seen her deal with some more than rude customers with ease. Just because she doesnt smile doesnt mean shes rude. Just because i wear black clothes doesnt make me a goth. Some people just dont smile unless they have a reason and if you engage brandi in a friendly convo shes quick to smile and joke with you. From what i know there are 3 melissas that work there and they too are very friendly gals. Sorry for the rant but i actually enjoy this place and i havent had a problem. And i get that some people will have a bad visit but to go beyond that and belittle specific people for no reason is childish. So you go paramount Subway. You guys deal with lots of shit and im sorry these rude people expect you to act like a 5 star Restaurant.

My coworkers and I will run here when we’re trying to eat somewhat healthy during lunch. I’m not a fan. Parking is shared with other businesses on the side of this shopping complex and it’s terrible. The line is often long and slow. The drink dispensers and counter is often dirty from spilled drinks and ice. Employees try, but they are slow and don’t seem to be able to handle the lunch crowds, especially.

Worst service ever!!! I’ve been here twice and both times they claim to be out of certain items. So we had to change what we originally wanted or go without those specific items. The employees are also super duper rude. They seem careless and wouldn’t know good customer service if it smacked them in the face. There’s never a friendly greeting nor a smile. Not to mention two of the employees were buying bootlegged movies inside the store while one girl helped the long line of customers. Never going back again!!!

This is the absolute worst service ever! I work near Subway and I’ve gone several times for lunch and every time I’ve gone, it’s the same sucky service. The employees are so rude and seem so unhappy. There’s a Hispanic guy with long-ish hair and he looks like he’s got shit on his upper lip. He always looks so mad. Then there’s Brandy — wow what a winner… NOT! She is so damn rude. Even the lady behind us in line said she was rude. I don’t know how the manager doesn’t hold them accountable for their horrible customer service.

I went in on a Friday night my voice is hoarse from being sick. I walk in and there is this guy flirting with the worker by the name Daniela. They were laughing and then she comes up to make the sandwich and says«what did you say you want?» I replied, «I didn’t say anything» and held up my phone«hold on.» The guy left and Daniela told another coworker«that’s so and so(I don’t remember the name), he works here», the other worker just nodded and said«Oh.» I ask if I can see the kid lunch bags(I heard they were Disney Minnie and Mickey ones) so I wanted one. I got my sandwich and she assumed I said I wanted milk and I said«no a juice» I pay for my food and get home to realize there was no juice. I called the store and told her I didn’t get my juice. And she said«you’re supposed to grab it yourself» I replied back, «you never told me that» and she said«well you can come back.» I said, «I’m already home and I’m sick I’m not planning on going back.» And she said, with attitude, «well what do you want me to do?» I asked for the managers name and she told me NO and I said, «excuse me?» And she replied«no». Worst customer service!

Sometimes at fast food restaurants, I can’t tell if employees are deaf or too stupid. I ask for a 6 inch sandwich and the genius makes me a kids’ sandwich just because my kid is with me. Why did you assume I needed a kids’ sandwich? I SAID6INCH. I said it was fine thinking it was the same thing practically. Well my kid ate it and still felt hungry afterwards. I’ll make that mistake only once.

Came here for a quick tuna sandwich, I don’t care to much for subways tuna I’d prefer Togo’s. it seems like all the togo’s in my area are being closed… WHY?(that’s another story) This place in a shopping center seems clean one of the lady’s fixing our sandwich before she handed us off to other had an attitude, second lady super nice we don’t usually come to this one(we go to the one near food4less) so I don’t know if that’s the norm for their employees to be rude or if she was having a shitty day. I wish I could have caught the 2nd lady’s name she was by no means rude & deserves to be praised a little… thank you, nameless subway lady! This time they weren’t stingy with the toppings usually they put Luke 3 onions, 2 pickles, and 1 bellpepper(exaggerating just a little, lol), but you get the point I didn’t have to say«oh no add more, please.»; That’s a plus! Place is clean & I’d come back again but for some reason even with ROSS across the street I don’t come this way often…

Living near this Subway, I tend to come here most often for footlong sandwiches the past few years. They even have some great breakfast selections. Went to this location to try the new Flatizza. It’s the new flat bread pizza they sell 2 for $ 5. The cheerful greeting and smile from Arthur was unexpected but great as they were busy making their tasty orders on a Friday night. After quickly taking my order, he asked my permission to continue making the order before mine as their toasted items were ready to continue. I ordered the veggie version and after selecting my veggies, another guy topped it off with shredded cheese and popped it into the toaster oven and out came two nicely browned Flatizza in no time at all. After placing them into takeout boxes, they are sliced into quarters and ready to go. After paying for them, the same guy thanks me. No, thank you for making my delicious snack. Chewy flat bread toasted just right, healthy veggies, hot toppings… very delicious! Friendly, polite employees, clean interior, delicious sandwiches and snacks made to order… fast!

This subway Friday night at 9pm had me leaving in disbelief. The server at the counter was standing there staring in space when I came in moving and licking his lips like he just got through giving guys head or had a infection due to eating bad pussy. Then he began making my sandwich taking short cuts with the meat adding double meat on the sandwich in four sections only, and he got an attitude while fixing the sandwich correctly with a look like he got caught and I should be ignorant about how a subway sandwich should be prepared even though the customer helps in the sandwich building process. I couldn’t tell if he spit on the sandwich or if he was just puckering from the lip and mouth infection he had before putting it in the oven to be toasted which was the third red flag I saw before deciding one more try before I leave. The last straw was him running out of mayo and being in the freezer for over 2 minutes while me and the sandwich waited in the open air. It took the guy who was actually working to go in the back and let him know that I was leaving for him to come out and make a sly comment I overheard while exiting the door. The place was packed with people that looked like friends because one woman sitting and watching from a chair looked like she was tearing up as I left in disbelief that I had enough and was smart enough to leave. If there are any questions just check the video tape from Friday night, it’s all there hopefully in hd color. I WARNEVERYONEFROMENTERINGTHESEDOORSPERIOD. I forgot this server also used the same gloves I seen on his hands when I walked in the door as he stood by the cash register. I didn’t get his name but all you have to look for is the young Hispanic guy who licks and puckers his pink pug asshole looking lips.

This place was horrible! I cant believe how poor the service was here! From the start the man was giving me an attitude did not even say hello or how can I help you! all he said was which bread did I want being that I wanted 2 sandwiches, and when I had told him which bread for the first sandwich he rudely interrupted me and said«Just tell me what breads you want for both, its easier that way». Then as he was scooping the meat to make my sandwich, he would shake some off before putting it on the sandwich! When I had asked him to put a little more meat because I noticed he shook some ff, he said it would cost extra! Never in all my years of going to Subway have i been told to pay an extra charge for a little more meat! Then if this wasn’t horrible enough, the girls who were completing the sandwiches were just standing around talking and when they finally decided to assist me, they were completely rude and started giggling at each other! In the end the sandwiched were completely disgusting! They did not make it the way I asked, and had put so much bell pepper and hardly 5 pieces of onion! This was literally THEWORST customer service experience that I have ever experienced anywhere! I already sent an e-mail to corporate and am currently waiting for a response. I will never go to subway EVERAGAIN! And I will make sure that anyone I know doesn’t have to go through a horrible subway experience! Me and my family were very upset!

This place can get packed in a hot second during lunchtime, but they handle the rush hour pretty well. I never really stay and eat at Subways, so of course once again it’s take out subs. The staff is pretty friendly, but not like totally jolly and loving life… just average«I’m glad I at least have a job» attitude. They do a good job with large, office faxed orders. Parking in that lot sucks. Still love the $ 5 footlongs… and now I’m singing the damn commercial, great. Just a good place to grab a quick sandwich to go.
