I used to come to this place all the time. The last time that I came, I placed a big order. Once getting home I realized that I was missing a burrito and the quesadilla had little meat so I called to let them know I was going back for the burrito. After waiting in line for another 10 minutes, I finally spoke to the girl about the burrito. She called her manager and I swear that guy was a jerk! He had the audacity to tell me that I was lying about the burrito and trying to get free food!!! Like really, I’m gonna go out of my way to come back and try to get free food? He was just rude. He gave me a hard time but finally gave me the burrito. then when I asked him about the quesadilla not having any meat he said that’s how they make them. I also told him that I ordered it without onion and it had onion… the«manager» pretty much told me I was lying. I told him to try it for himself and I even open it up for him to show him the onion and at that point was just ignoring me. I was sooooooo close to throwing that quesadilla in his face but I was trying to keep it classy. Needless to say, my worst experience ever and will not return. Poor customer service.

Went here on accident and glad I did. I ordered a torta and it was the best damn thing I’ve eating in a minute. A little sloppy but it’s just cause the meat is juicy. Didn’t care for the horchata though.

Torta de milanesa is my fav and the tacos. My sister loves the burritos. Very cheap and good tasting meat. I love that they have all 3 salsas. Tomatillo, chile de Arbol and guacamole.

So dirty here. Menu said 5.50 for burrito combo but they told me 6. They should change their prices if they plan on charging more. The burrito wasn’t even good. The place is disgusting even with their new remodel.

Place is not too bad. It’s a quick bite if you are looking for something open late after midnight and tired of Jack in the box and Tam’s. The order taker female was nice and helpful on the food. I’ve never seen $ 5 dopes but they are 2 times the size so I guess worth it. We got their taco meal with rice, beans and a drink $ 6.50 and are 2 more tacos $ 1.10. Each. Over all food was OK. Not cold, not fresh just OK. I really couldn’t tell I was eating chicken. Did have taste to it. The onions and cilantro flavored it up. We were out all day and looking for new food so we came here. May or may not come again. They were out of chorizo so might go just to try. It’s not like Tacos El Gavilan in Downey but is not bad for a late quick bite. We ate in their covered area. Not bad but wasn’t clean. They do charge for refills 50 cents. Over all I’d give it a C+ to B-.

Not a big fan of how they do their ordering and pick up. Also, the food is super good EXCEPT the nachos are terrible. Store bought chips and cheese sauce. This item needs to be completely rethought.

I use to love this place until recently when the quality of taco meat has gone down. Its usually over cooked with a lot of nerve endings. Needless to say I stopped coming here as much.

Love this place. Carne asada is great. Not fatty like some other places. They take cards with no charge. Burritos are awesome. Spicy and delicious.

We don’t get it… we just don’t get it! This place is usually PACKED, so we’ve always assumed it was that fucking good… WRONG! While buzzing & on the hunt for late night grub, we decided to hit Giyo’s up instead of Tam’s. UGH! You know usually everything is DeeLicious when you’re drunk? This was not the case, we ordered TONS of food & yeah, well here it goes. Super Nachos… not Super in any way, barely any Meat & Cheese, drenched in the CHEAP toppings Sour Cream, Onions, Tomato, etc…& only the top layer of chips(way too salty by the way) had anything on them. Shrimp Fajitas… looks more like a stew, yeah well, shell on shrimp, we’re good with that but they’re so fucking small it makes it difficult to peel. Despite everything being soaked in a sauce(like I said, stew) the shrimp had NOFLAVOR the only thing on that plate that was good & soaked up any spices was the potatoes, yeah you heard me… POTATOES in fajitas. Oh & we didn’t get Tortillas, we got stale Torta buns that were smashed & toasted on the grill. Carne Asada Tacos… flavorless & dry almost like jerky. They’d be nothing without the Onions, Cilantro & Hot Sauce. We left full, but far from satisfied & we can promise you, even if it was FREE… we will not be back.

Once upon a night it was very late, I was very hungry and decided to come here. I found out that they were open for 24 hours Friday nights and Saturday nights. The burritos and tacos are good, the place was over all clean, a lot of people come here even though it’s a little hole in the wall.

I am new to the area and was referred by a friend to this place. My friend said it was really good yada yada, well… I’m sorry but this place was not good at all. I will not be coming to this place any more. What did I get? I ordered one taco de tripas(with everything), one taco de al pastor(with everything) and one sope. The tripas and al pastor were really dry, and flavor less. To disguise the taste they tacked on loads of cilantro and onions… The tortilla taste wasn’t nothing special at all as well. When it came to the sope it its one thing I will say was good was the shell. It had a very good soft texture to it. Beside that they screwed it all up by adding very little meat, lettuce almost the equivalent of iceberg lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Im not sure if I didn’t order the right things, or if the cooks didn’t care. I do know that I will not be going here anymore. I don’t know why this place has a long line of people every time I pass by, but I will not be one of those in the future

This place is a great taco place, my only complaint is lines tend to be long and not enough places to sit. This place also offers other great classic mexican dishes like the birria, sopes, burritos, and sopes. Salsas are great but dont forget the grilled onion. They go great with the food. And prices are reasonable.

*2.5 stars Only eat here after 10:30pm Nothing great. Cheap prices. The lady that just helped me tonight was on her phone arguing with someone. When she finally helped me, she had a rude attitude. No courtesy.

The chorizo and al pastor tacos are my favorite! They remind me of street taco stands but less greasy. The salsa bar is great, you can choose from your typical red & green salsa… but also a guacamole salsa which is deeeeelicious. If you’re taking your tacos to go, I would really recommend calling ahead of time(5 or 10 minutes before you expect to get there) so you won’t have to wait(the place is always busy, with good reason.)

When I first encountered this place it was awesome! My neighborhood did not have real Mexican food so I was excited for their tacos… Sadly over time their quality has changed. It’s really a hit or miss with them. Sometimes the meat tastes fresh and flavorful and other times it’s mediocre at best. Same with the sauces available and the veggies. With King Taco being so close you’d figure they would’ve stepped up their game.

STREETTACOS … STREETTACOS … OMG Delish Ok, so I have to thank my girlfriend about telling me about this spot. Which her and her family call the B Spot… why you ask, well apparently before it was Tacos Giyo it was something else and the food rating was a B… hence the B spot hahaha However, the street tacos here are killer. Every time we go and visit my girlfriends family we have to stop here and get tacos for everyone. It has become a ritual for us. Now I have only had the street tacos and base my entire review on the fact that that is all i really need to write this review. The tacos are killer and i could eat the chicken tacos here all the time. My girlfriend puts this as here #1 taco joint… I believe this last week, it has some competition for #1 spot. I will give them that spot for #1 in LA but not for San Diego.
