Artistic Tile

I did my kitchen with Artistic Tile in NYC a few years ago, so when I moved to Bergen county and wanted to re do my bathrooms I thought I’d give their Paramus location a shot. I was very happy with the results. My tile is really gorgeous. They are not cheap, but the stuff the have is totally different from a normal tile store. My walls now have nicer jewelry than I do! What was especially nice was that I got the tile very fast, which is more than I can say for most of the other stuff we ordered when redecorating! Only negative — my gps didn’t recognize their address!

Never to be trusted… they owe us a refund from returned merchanchise and we have still to see our money. this is precisely the reason the big box retailers beat the small time operations like Artistic Tile. …we will be taking them to small claims court.
Additionally super expensive. with a litte imagination get similar stuff elsewhere at half the price.
BUYER BEWARE. NEVER AGAIN!

It has been several weeks since our tile was delivered by AT and I deliberately waited a few weeks so I could have some perspective on my review. A few weeks back, I was irate and would have given them 0 stars. Today I cautiously award 2 starts. They earned 2 because they have a nice selection and their employees have a good eye and consultative sense when it comes to style. But when it comes to ordering the right quantity, they screwed up royally. DO NOT count on them to get the numbers right. DO NOT tell them what your actual square footage is. Instead, YOU need to calculate what you’ll need (including scrap/​waste) and ask for that.
I realized we were short by over 30% bare-​minimum needed when our tile installer did the dry layout. I could credit artistic tile for doing last-​minute custom cutting to ensure our job wasn’t slowed down (they cut for (and we paid for) an additional 10 square feet of tile, ready in one day’s time. BUT, that last minute cutting meant that about 50% of the new tiles were not cut well– they were supposed to be rectangular and were instead trapezoidal and way off in terms of dimensions.
Salespeople were ill-​trained (can’t consult on necessary measurements) and the warehouse was ready to act quickly but did shoddy work. I would NEVER recommend this tile unless they are the only retailers of exactly what you want. AVOID.
