There are malls and then there are malls. Garden State Plaza is about as good as they get. Clean, easy to get to– routes 4, 17, and the Garden State Parkway surround this popular mall, and filled with the best stores. The anchors are Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor, Macy’s, Jcpenney and Nordstrom. And also included is a movie theater (AMC). When most malls in the area are ghost towns by 8:30 pm, this mall has people coming in at 9pm– even though it closes at 9:30! It has covered parking as well as lot parking accompanied by valet service. Once an «open-​air» mall, the additions over the years make it truly different– ramps join old and new architecture. An overall great shopping experience– even if you’re not a shopper.
