Savino’s Pizza

Some might be put off by the price of a plain pie ($ 16) considering the comparative quality to other places in the area but the slice was ok. Chicken parm is really good and the reason for the 4^th star. Would order again.

Nearly every time I order here they get my order wrong. Then when I ask them to correct it, they act as if it’s my fault (they do correct it). They’re also expensive.
I usually go through cycles where I get frustrated with them and don’t order from them for a few years then I give them a chance again because they’re so close to my house. Unfortunately, it seems to happen every time I order there. I really want to like them, I really do but it’s just not happening for me.

Don’t get me wrong. The food is okay, but I have to agree with everyone else here when they say that the service/​customer service is terrible. I’m certain Savino’s Pizza reads these reviews and if they really want to bring their business to the next level then I suggest that they practice better social skills with their customers.
Drop the attitude. It’s seriously enough for me to not come back again. I’ll probably check out another place like Blaze Pizza. They seem to get consistently high reviews.

Good pizza but terrible customer service. Every time I’ve been there the staff seem to be miserable. Not bad enough to stop me from going here.

i ordered delivery today and I’d give my meal a 3 out of 5 stars.
Here’s what I ordered:
–Plain slice: It was a decent and typical slice of pizza. It wasn’t amazing or horrible. The crust is very thin, which I like but it was lacking flavor.
–French fries: I asked for crispy fries because I know some restaurants serve their fries on the soggy side, which I can’t stand. The fries looked very crispy but they weren’t. I’m not sure how or why that happened.
–Buffalo wings: They were over-​fried and didn’t have a lot of meat on them. The buffalo sauce came on the side.
Overall, I’ll order pizza from Savinos again but not the fries or buffalo wings. I was disappointed but maybe my expectations were too high. I like the friendly staff and fast delivery, however.

I ordered Half BBQ Chicken Pizza and Half Veggie Pizza with Buffalo Wings. I was a little skeptical since it was my first time trying it out from Savino’s and because I am a bit picky with my pizzas. But I’m happy that I tried! The food was great! Will definitely order more often from this place.

Don’t come here for the atmosphere or service. Come for the plain slice.
I grew up down the street from Savino’s. These guys used to have the best greasy pizza in town, true NJ style. Then at some point around 10 years ago, the pizza changed and lost all its flavor. I went there again recently and it seemed they’d figured it out. The sauce was flavorful and liberally applied. The cheese was a little crusty around the edges and perfect on top. You need to eat this outside or over a plate, because the grease is going to leak a bit. And those of you who know what I’m talking about, know that it’s a good sign; I’m not talking rivers of grease, just enough to make the crust delicious.
There are only a few places to sit inside, which is a shame because the pizza is twice as good when it’s fresh out of the oven.
As far as specialty slices, there’s nothing great, and their Sicilian slices are mediocre. They are pretty good about orders for big parties.
Overall, decent neighborhood pizza place, but the plain slices are hard to beat, for now.

I’ve been a dedicated Savino’s Pizza customer for many years. Their food (especially the meatballs, lol) are the best around. And their staff are the friendliest!!! Thank you all for being the best!!!

So extremely Unsatisfied! Normally order from here once a week today I ordered a slice and a salad was told 10 min well now still waiting 30 minutes and getting attitude from the girls working in the front time to find another pizza place … Oh and the girls are more concerned about the football games then serving people

We love the pizza and his homemade sauce. Its a family business and they really seem to care about the quality of the food. They recently added on-​line ordering and now I use my smartphone to order when I leave work so it is ready when I arrive at the store. Great great food and great service.

Nice food but pizzas only come in one size large. This can be annoying if you’re not starving but want a small bite to eat. The pizzas in savinos are delicious.

When we lived in Paramus 25+ years ago, we always ordered from Savino’s. When we moved back to NJ last year, we were happy to discover they were still there! We’ve enjoyed their ‘everything’ pizza … lots of stuff on that puppy! We also enjoy the sausage, pepper and onions heros. We’ll keep trying their selections and we’re sure to enjoy them!

Picked up a large cheese pie for first time in several years. Pretty good pizza except much too salty. Otherwise nice balance of cheese and sauce and crust quite good. If it weren’t so salty it would have earned one more star.

worst consumer service. after explaining to the manager that I got the wrong order i was told to just deal with it. and that they would not send in a new order. i ordered a grilled chicken sald and got just lettuce after calling to alert them, i was told that not only would they not bring the right order but that if they did they would charge me for a whole new order. I was so surprise by the rude manager who yelled at me and proceeede to hang up the phone.

My boyfriend and I were shopping in Paramus this past week, and decided to stop in for lunch. I had the buffalo chicken pizza, and he had the sicilian. Some of the best crust I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely stop in again for a slice, though the place is more suited for take-​out than dining in. The older gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and happy to see us.

Walked in for take-​out. Service was terrible… If looks could kill by the guy behind the register… Like he didn’t want me in the store. Will be the last time I give them my business. Plus the place looks like a dive…

The pizza is a little pricy, but it is one of the best yum!

Had their garlic knots. More like garlic bowling balls. These things were super heavy and weighed A TON. Not a happy camper.

I visit/​order from Savinos once in awhile for their Chicken Parm hero. I think it’s absolutely fantastic! The breaded chicken is to perfection and the way the sauce and the cheese melt in to the bread for a savory soft bread that just melts in to your mouth when you bite in to it.
Only thing is if you order via phone, expect to wait over 30 – 40 minutes. When I pick up my sandwiches, I usually call 20 minutes in advance and yet I find myself waiting for an extra 5 minutes or so. Not a big deal for me but letting others know.
