I work in a nearby school and drive by Ralphy’s all the time, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a cheese slice(my test of a pizza shop) and four garlic knots. Normally, I don’t order garlic knots, but I could tell by the fresh basil and minced garlic covering them that the cook gave some special care. The pizza broke as they pulled it out of the oven(tip came off), so they threw in an extra slice which was a nice touch of service. I was not disappointed by the garlic knots. The dough was the perfect combination of slightly firm on the outside and doughy and soft on the inside, almost gooey. They were very well seasoned and flavorful. The pizza was your average cheese slice. Nothing to get to excited about, but definitely serviceable. I would go back and I definitely recommend the garlic knots.

I almost didn’t order from here, based on many negative reviews, but hunger and curiosity prompted us to order delivery to the office… and I’m glad we did. We tried the Great Grandma Pie, which was great! Sauce was good, crust nice and crisp and all ingredients blended really well together — no overload on garlic, no skimping on cheese. I could eat pizza everyday and this place offers some different varieties(I could have a different one every day!). We’ll definitely be back to try another!

The owner is incredibly rude and immature, hangs up on customers and refuses to accommodate to their customers. After waiting a long time for my food patiently I didn’t receive the right order. I called and asked for what I paid for and the owner wanted to charge me more money to have a driver come back with the right components for my order, because it was raining and it was an inconvenience to them. I will never order from here again.

The owner is a complete and total douche bag. Sent us the wrong order and then tried to scream at me to tell us that we ordered the wrong thing. He also tired to charge me more money to fix what he messed up. I will never order from this place again. He’s a jerk and someone like this should never own a business . Not to mention I just found a rats tail in the salad I never ordered !!!

This is the second time I tried this place. I had no issues the first time around, but this time I was a little disappointed. I ordered the chopped salad with grilled chicken. The salad is huge, and good thing because it was a $ 12 salad! Unfortunately my salad was drowned in the lemon dressing, and by the time I was able to eat it all the lettuce and other veggies were soggy and wilted. I poured out at least a cup of dressing… I ate a quarter of the salad only to get turned off. The only shining star was the bread, that was very tasty.

First time ordered the special for a large pizza, antipasto, and a 2 liter soda and it was pretty good. 2nd time ordered the same thing it was horrible. The antipasto was not an antipasto. It was like a bag of mixed greens from a supermarket with a couple pieces of meat and cheese on it. Pizza was cold and nasty. Called to see if we could get a credit or something and they were nasty as hell to us. Said if it was so bad why did u eat it and basically hung up on us. Will never order again from that shithole of a place! With all the horrible reviews about the food & manager/owner anger management problems, it’ll be closed in a few months!

This pizza restaurant is fairly new, and close by which is incredibly convenient for us. My family and I are big fans of their chopped salad, which is always fresh and has an awesome lemon-oil dressing. Additionally, they have a gluten-free pizza and pasta options, which is something my gluten-free daughter really appreciates. The staff is always friendly, whether via phone or delivering the food. Overall, while not the best Italian food I’ve had, it is pretty tasty and I have recommended Ralphy’s to others in the area and will continue to do so.

I was in a hurry and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Mistake! 2 slices w 1 topping and a bottle of water came out to $ 9.90. If the pizza tasted like something other then nothing i may not have been SO disappointed. All i tasted was the mushrooms, garlic powder, and pepper flakes! And a customer came in w 2 pies that he said were done the opposite of what he asked. He wanted less sauce and there was extra and he didnt want it well done and it was burnt! The owners response was«this is a perfect pie, this is how i make all my pizzas, if you dont like it maybe next time you think of ordering again just go somewhere else.» sounds like great customer service to me. Now only if i could give no stars!

«Told us 45 minutes. Had to be to work in 2 hours and thought I could still get a slice or two in. After about 50 minutes we called, they said he should be close by. After an hour and 20 minutes we called again. She said she didn’t know where the delivery boy was and would re-send it. I told her I had to cancel and wanted a refund because I wouldn’t even be able to eat it. She put the owner on and my boyfriend took the phone, he said he’d give me the refund no problem. Moments later the delivery boy shows up missing half our food.» Above is the basic review I left where I was very upset with this pizzaria especially because it was our first time trying it. But I wanted to edit and bump up the stars by 2. Because about an hour after we returned our order my boyfriend recieved a phone call from the owner aplogizing over and over. As a small business owner myself that goes a long way. He explained how busy it was but said it was no excuse. After calming down I really appreciated the phone call and understand mistakes happen. We’ve agreed to give it one more go for great customer service!

Reading other reviews, I see a rather odd split of opinion. Some people are saying that it’s the best pizza in the neighborhood, and others are saying it’s awful. Upon trying the actual pizza, I conclude that both views are correct. All of the pizzarias in Paramus are terrible, and this one’s no exception; it might actually be the best in town, but that’s no endorsement. My order was a pizza with sausage and mushrooms; both the sauce and the meat were strikingly bland. I picked up my pie, so I can’t comment as to other customers’ delivery complaints. In conclusion, if you’re in Paramus and you want a good pizza, you’ll still have to drive to River Edge or Hackensack. Ralphy’s is no help; you’d have been better off with the Papa John’s that was the previous occupant of its retail space.

Tried Ralphy’s a few times and have no complaints so far. The pizza has more of a medditeranean old world style and is above average. The staff are also very friendly. They seemed to be quite busy every time I stopped by and the service was fast. Maybe this one will stay a while if they continue to understand the customer satisfaction concept. If you are in Paramus searching for a more traditional slice it may be better to try Anthony Franco’s or La Bela Roma. Otherwise, definitely pay Ralphy a visit!

Awesome fresh homemade bread goes into every sandwich. Their bread is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside making for a great meatball hero. They very unique pizzas offered daily, some that you would swear would not be a good combination, but if Ralph says it’s good, it is, like the thick pizza with potatoes and onions on it. The restaurant is kept very clean. Good place for a pizza party. They deliver too!

Ralphy’s pizza is a pretty good pizza place. They have a great menu(like«fat”-like sandwiches) and delicious pizza that I really enjoy. I actually prefer it to other Paramus pizza places nearby. Their fried calamari is also pretty delicious. My fire used to burn bright for this place but lately it dies out more and more. If you’re wondering why it’s because of the inconsistencies in service that I’ve been experiencing. Some days they’re great and deliver my food quickly and some other days they would take forever when I live less than a mile away. Also, sometimes they would be friendly, other times not… it’s been very up and down for me. All-in-all, I would probably come here again but maybe with not much enthusiasm.

Terrible owner. He actually yells at people and hung up the phone on me even after the restaurant made a mistake. I will never order food here again. They screwed up, and instead of making it right, they yelled and hung up on me. You lost my business forever. Absolutely unacceptable nonsense from the unprofessional loser who owns this place.

Meh. I mean really Meh. No other word could more accurately describe the food. The staff was very nice. The location is great… Can’t wait to see what goes into this space next.

Some of the best pizza in the area. I’m a bit stunned by the 1 and 2-star reviews for this place since those are nowhere near my experiences with this place. The wife and I have tried this place 4 – 5 times over the past few weeks and everything has been better than average(with one small exception: the eggplant rollatini slice). Both the chicken and meatball parm heroes are legit. Not overly-fried chicken like some places in the area and they seem to come with extra sauce on the side, which I love. The only knock that I have on Ralphy’s is a subpar eggplant rollatini slice that I tried last week. I ordered later in the evening so it’s entirely possible that I had a slice that was sitting around for a few hours because the plain slice that I had along with it was good. I’ll give it another try at some point. Today we had a large pie; half plan and the other half sausage and green peppers. It was awesome! The sausage was ground-sausage instead of slices(which can sometimes weigh pizza down due to its oiliness) and the green peppers weren’t the large slices that some lazier pizzerias use but diced peppers, which allowed for really good topping-coverage. Last but not least is the owner and his workers. We’ve found them to be nothing but friendly and courteous so I’m not quite sure why some Unilocalers seem to have a beef with them.
