Pronto Pizza

The North Jersey Panini is the best! All of there food is pretty delicious though! They also deliver which is convenient.

Currently my go-​to spot. Great tasting pizza and quick delivery. Once in a while the cheese slides off but it’s so good I don’t care. Oh and their fries are freakin delicious and a huge bag of them per order. Consistently good, can’t go wrong.

Awesome fries. Peculiar way of starting a review for a pizza place, but these freakin fries make it hard to not curse. Pizza is good too. Cheesey af. People behind the counter are really nice, presumably owners. Chicken is good too.

Textbook example of mediocrity. Bland basic pizza, if you have no other option; enjoy. Life’s too short for crappy food. (I’m speaking only about pizza that was available by the slice)

Pizza is very good, sandwiches are excellent on fresh bread. Great cheesesteaks. Never disappointed. Nice owners, definitely earn my repeat business every time.

A great place to pick-​up diner for a reasonable price. We order a variety of diners throughout the week. Love the pasta, subs and salads. The best Italian pizzeria in the area.
They are honest about the pick-​up times when they are very busy. A hard working family restaurant.

Having lived in both north NJ and Manhattan, I’ve tasted the gamut of subs. Having tried everything near my new home of 3 years, my wife and I agree Pronto has the best subs, thanks to their fantastic bread. Pizza is also good.
Ken’s Deli also has great subs, but doesn’t deliver.

I have ordered from just about every pizza joint in the River Edge/​New Milford/​Oradell area over the last 10 years of living in River Edge in search for my favorite local pizza. I have seen pizzerias, come and go at multiple locations, and I have also seen several new pizza locations pop up in recent years. Now that I have established some sort of a reputation in understanding local pizza in our area let’s proceed with this review.
It was Thursday night and i was sitting on my couch in the living room trying to decide which favorite local pizza place to from when I came across a new location on the results list, ‘Pronto Pizza’?. Hmm-​mm with a 4.5 star average with 15 reviews I just had to try it out.
I ordered one large pizza with mushrooms and extra sauce (I wanted to avoid the risk of sauce-​skimping prominent in many pizzerias). I ordered a side of mozzarella sticks as well as a small antipasto as a further quality test. The pizza was promptly delivered 30 minutes after ordering and was delivered hot. so far so good. After a few bites I realized Pronto Pizza lived up to my expectations, the sauce was above average quality, as were the cheese and crust. The crust was pretty standard, not too thin and not too thick. The mushrooms were cooked and seemed fresh; I hate nothing more than a pizza joint that throws some canned mushrooms on the top of the pizza at the end of cooking and calls it a day. They went a little crazy with the extra sauce request, but nothing to complain about.
The Mozzarella sticks were of decent quality as well as the anti-​pasta, the sides were not quite on par with the pizza but I will not ding them for side dishes, after all, it is the pizza that counts!
Pronto pizza is definitely on my (very) short list of 2 local, pizza delivery joints with high quality pizza in my area. I am very happy to have found them as now I have a 1 standard crust place to order from and a thin crust location, both with fresh, high quality ingredients! 4.5-Stars for great local delivery pizza!

Ordered catering from them for a party I had at my house. Food delivered on time, hot, and delicious. Best calzones and stromboli in the area! Garlic knots are also out of this world.

Nice and clean. Food is tasty and consistent. Friendly owners and staff who go out of their way to help.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I probably order from Prontos Pizza once a week for lunch as it’s 5 minutes away. They deliver, and are so easy to deal with. I always make complicated office orders and they get it right every time. Delivery also tends to get pricey, but Prontos is priced fairly. I usually always get there number one chicken sandwich which is always amazing and I KNOW if you’ve had it, it is super simple but amazing none the less. As of late I’ve had their pizza, a few subs, salads, etc and have never been disappointed. Pronotos portions are pretty generous as well, so I always seem to save half my meal for later. Strongly recommend Prontos!!!

Ordered pizza from here & didn’t love it… live only 2 mins away & had to reheat it because it was cold.
I’ll return but to try other things on the menu

This is my favorite pizza place in the area. Very good pizza but also very good everything else, too! Chicken, wraps, eggplant — everything I’ve tasted has been excellent, hot, and fresh. And the portions on the entrees are generous, so there’s always leftovers.
So much better than Big Jim’s, who I think has let their quality decline over the years just because they think they’ll get the business anyway. Pronto’s is 100x better!

Pizza was OK; in fact better than what is served as «pizza» in many nearby joints. Is this the best: no? Hope they will improve is further.

My favorite pizza place in the area. The owners ran the best pizza parlor in Dumont and I was delighted to find them here when I moved. Fantastic pizza, good prices, and prompt, friendly, personal service. And forget Subway across the street, Pronto’s subs are the best around, not least of all because of the homemade bread.

I’ve had their pizza, chicken parm, eggplant parm, & also had their catering and every time I’ve had food from here it’s been exceptional. The food is made well, tasty, and the prices are really reasonable. It’s just a great local place and if you are in the area definitely check it out.

Love this place. The pizza is the best around. Their sandwiches are also not to be missed. They’re made with homemade bread that is better than any bread around. Everything is very, very fresh. Definitely give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

By far the best pizza AND food in the area. They have an amazing family meal deal also… lg pizza, 12 wings, salad and garlic bread for $ 23.50! Where else you going for $ 23.50! The wings are HOMEMADE and fresh. Great Chicken parm & Cheesesteaks too! The owners are very nice and always willing to help us with fundraisers and special prices to help the local kids! Thanks for a great place I can depend on for great and very affordable meals!
