I always used to forget that this Starbucks existed. It’s soooooo far off the beaten path at Garden State Plaza. And it wasn’t the greatest store — the awkward flow & minimal seating always led to big crowds. And … it’s CLOSED?! Unless they’re remodeling. But it didn’t look like they were. Sad face.

I have a high expectation for Starbucks, and this one seems to be staffed with a bunch of weirdos. I’ve visited a few times over the years, and find that they just keep hiring this borderline creepy people. Perhaps they all know each through friends and keep the cycle going. Maybe I’m just not a fan of north jersey, but the people who go there are the type of characters you’re likely to find on those guido beach youtube videos which I believe ultimately inspired that jersey shore tv show. I’ve never been to a starbucks in LA, but I feel like this is the closest approximation that I’ll get to it, the people seem so delusional and spaced out. The only good aspect is that many people take their stuff to go and you can very easily find some private seating off to the side near the glass windows. The jazz generally drowns out the noise from the register and provides for a nice experience.

The worst starbucks ever! The red velvet cupcake was dry and stale. It was shoved into a paper bag instead of a neatly folded box. It’s a disgrace. They deserve no star!

There is one Starbucks located at the Garden State Plaza. Its located near the carousel, which is by Legal Seafoods, Urban Outfitters and Macy’s. This Starbucks location is very small, has limited seating and can have long lines depending on when you go.
