Ace’s

When you pull up the sign states «Home of the Chicago Style Pizza», however it is not offered as a menu option. There is also an image of a Chicago Style Pizza in their menu, but when I asked the waitress for it, she said they do not have pizza like that. I was very disappointed in the pizza in general, however the sauce was okay. The toilet in the bathroom did not work which makes it difficult when you have a two year old who needs to potty. Lastly, the waitresses were having to double as bartenders which made the service substandard.

Good pizza, but horrible service. My family has been customers of Ace’s for well over 15 years, but within the last 6 months or so, the service has become deplorable. The past two times we have been to Ace’s (both this month), we have received no refills on our drinks and our waitress has failed to return to the table to check on us at all after bringing out our food. Today really was the final straw with the service being so poor that it is highly unlikely that we will return to Ace’s. Our waitress never returned to our table at all after serving our food. We waited for 30 minutes for a box for our leftovers and for our bill, and it never came. At the 30 minute mark, we got the attention of another staff member who brought us a box, but did not assist with getting our bill. It ended up being close to an hour before we were able to finally get our bill from someone other than our waitress. As we finally got our bill, our waitress was sitting at the bar, ignoring our attempts to get her attention so that we could pay our bill. In addition, the owner was the cause for much of the distraction, as he was hosting a private party in the back room. The waitresses were so worried with running to stop anyone from sitting there and with serving the back room, that they ignored the other customers in the building. We would have chalked up the poor service to this if it had not been a prevalent issue during multiple visits. It is disappointing to see that the owner (who was in the building and made his rounds throughout it) did nothing to intervene. In addition, we heard our waitress standing at the bar openly and loudly complaining about other customers while ignoring us and not providing any service to our table. The other reviews you read will be spot on in the sense that they do serve great pizza, but the service has reached the level where the quality of the food can no longer make up for it.

Good basic food and just the right amount. Only complaint was to much cheese on the chicken parm. I know that really isn’t something to complain about.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. If you want a good basic Italian meal this was good.

Really good pizza!!! I love the local bar/​restaurant feel to it. I’m assuming I met the owner because if so, he was very polite! Great people, too. Was hoping to get the deep dish but they said it would take an hour. The regular pizza was surprisingly great, tho! Even kids would love it!

Basic food at this eatery in Paris. Pizza is passable. Good lasagna and other pasta dishes. No longer have a ribeye. Service not so good tonight. We waited for more than an hour for our food. Waitress forgot salad of one of our party altogether and showed little concern when it was pointed out. Only ok. There are better places in town and this place used to be better.

Awesome pizza! I don’t like traditional pizzas, but this thin crust pizza with a zesty sauce is awesome! The toppings have great flavor and you know that you’re eating a mushroom, pepperoni, chunk of sausage, etc. The gravy bread is yummy! It is toasted white bread soaked in their delicious au jus from the Italian beef sandwich. The Italian beef sandwich is amazing, too! A ton of beef with a delicious au jus. Yum!

The pizza is great! But the first thing that turned me off was the dirty carpet smell. need to clean it or loose it.

The best pizza around. We have been loyal Aces customers for over 20 years. Wayne and the rest of the crew are very friendly. If you’re lucky you might run into the man himself. Ace is awesome.

I loved this place when it was in the kroger’s parking lot and I love this place now. I have been going to this place for awhile. They moved locations awhile back and I really think some people forget it is there. I love the chicago style hotdogs and the breadsticks w/​cheese. I know this is a short review but I have not tried the pizza’s but I will be back to paris and I will be updating my review when I do.
