Wow. …I won’t be coming back. Instant mashed potatoes with a delmonico steak should be against the law. Gross.

Worst place to eat! The service was horrible. They were out of chicken should have been my first red flag. Ordered country fried steak and husband ordered catfish. The steak came out with white gravy that looked like mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes were cold, catfish was fried tough, hush puppies were raw in the center, French fries were raw. When I complained they did not offer to comp our ticket. Just said sorry and rolled their eyes. It was absolutely horrible. Husband has eaten out all over the world and has never had a meal as bad as the one we were served tonight.

For years, our family went to Lepantos for Sunday brunch, baptisms, first communion, whatever occasion required space for a large group. In October, we took a large group after my grandfather’s funeral. When we came in, we asked the waitress whether we were paying for lunch prices our dinner(it was close to the cutoff time) and she said lunch so several of us ordered that. After we had already started eating the waitress came back and said that it has switched and we would have to pay dinner prices. We didn’t complain… the food was ok, but that should have told us not to come back. Fast forward to last weekend, we buried my grandmother and headed back to Lepantos for dinner after the funeral. The buffet looked pretty good, so 8 of our 15 ordered it after being reassured by staff that they were cooking food to replenish it. About 15 minutes later, we learned that they weren’t replenishing but switching items and several people were unhappy because they wanted the items that had been out when we first arrived. The staff was rude and unfriendly… especially a woman named«Anna» who impersonated the manager and called the police after SHE threatened my sister. After it was all said and done, we only paid for 8 buffets(2 were actually eaten) and all of our drinks(several were wrong). «Anna» did not cancel our menu items when we asked her to, so the real manager had to throw them away(we weren’t staying and she didn’t offer carryouts as an option) and once the police realized they had been lied to by someone claiming to be staff, they were very unhappy. We will never go back to Lepantos and I will make sure everyone knows how little they value their customers.

I would like to give it 0 stars, but not an option. Here is the restaurant score from the local newspaper dated 10−9−15: Lepanto’s Steakhouse, 1305 E. Wood St., Paris — Oct. 6. Score: 75. Critical violations: Food not in good condition, safe and unadulterated; food-contact surfaces not cleaned and sanitized; improper hot holding temperatures. I ate there ONCE about 3 ago because I was new to the area, and I never returned.

I’m not sure what the other reviewers expected from a place that advertises a $ 6 lunch buffet but I got exactly what I expected. The place was very clean but a bit outdated. It seems that in its day it was a very nice restaurant! The majority of the customers were elderly but I enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was very typical of what you’d find in a small Tennessee town… lots of pre-prepared stuff bought frozen off a truck and heated up or deep fried. Fried chicken, instant potatoes, and vegetables from a can. They did have a good salad bar with lots of fresh veggies! The dessert choices were more frozen-prepackaged options. Overall, I spent under $ 10 and left full. The service was friendly and the building was surprisingly clean.

This place is a JOKE of a steakhouse. This place was about 2 doors down from the hole I was staying at and I should’ve know better, but I wanted some steak and didn’t want to drive so I took a walk. I don’t even know how to even describe this place. It felt like a fast food steakhouse, a first for me. I know that judging a place on how it looks can be very misleading though. Upon looking over the menu, I was surprised and the various amount of cuts they had available to choose from. I think thy had prime rib and I almost ordered it but the«cheap» feel of the place deterred me. I’m a big fan of prime rib and a lot of «nicer» places can’t even get it right so I settled on the delmonaco in medium rare. When the food came out, it just looked awful. I knew right away I was going to be disappointed. The steak was white like a pork chop and it was cooked medium well. It certainly was not a delmonico. I ate it without complaining as I don’t like to do so and create a hassle for all the workers. In and out I go. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for a steak. They might have something else that might be better but certainly not the delmonico.

Good basic steakhouse with good salad bar. Had the blackened prime rib which was quite tasty. Fried pickles are a good appetizer. Tilapia was nothing to write home about. Stick to steak.

All the way from California, we came to visit family that lives in Dresden, TN. I wanted to take the family out to eat at a Buffet Style restaurant since everyone has different«likes». This was a great choice. It was a Late Saturday afternoon and there were 6 in our party. We were seated right away and the waitress was VERY friendly and personable. She made us feel very welcomed. We all chose to eat from the buffet instead of ordering from the menu so I can’t speak about what choices are on the menu. We had plenty to chose from on buffet. Chicken, Beef Steak strips, Stuffed Peppers, Frog Legs, Pastas, Mashed Potatoes, several different vegetables, and lots more that I didn’t eat. There was a LARGE salad buffet table to make any type of salad you can imagine, and also a LARGE dessert table. Drinks were served at the table. Soda, tea and coffee. The waitress came often to check on us and made sure our drinks stayed full and asked several times if we needed anything else. Our family was very happy and VERYFULL when we left. The place was very clean, and comfortable with friendly service and all the food I tried was very good. Never felt«rushed» either. I suggest you try it. :) The best part was at the end… OURBILL! It was only 8.99 for adults and 6.99 for the kids.

I ate here one time while driving the length of U.S. 79 from Round Rock, TX to Russellville, KY(on the way to Indiana) and stopped here because I was hungry. They had two of the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten. The service was a bit on the indifferent side, and I could have done without the crying kids and their parents who yelled at them all throughout dinner — but those pork chops were *truly memorable*!
