Visited the Marmot store in Park City on March 21st and had a great experience with Mike. He was informed, helpful & very knowledgable of his products. He’s clearly a great representative for Marmot.

I will not be returning to this store as they are an awful representation of a brand that I really respect for their customer service, quality, and warranty. The manager handled an exchange very poorly and attempted to make my wife feel guilty about trying to get a jacket that wasn’t leaking feathers and actually fit. Again, I love marmot and have nothing negative to say about the actual brand, but I have worked in retail and would never have treated someone the way this guy did.

Been shopping for some new ski pants for some time and I was very impressed with the styles and models these guys carry. The salesman was incredibly friendly and didn’t try to sale me the most expensive pant but asked me what I was looking for and was able to steer me in the direction of a pant that I am very happy with after a few days in the snow. He also gave me a bunch of suggestions on great restaurants and things around town. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Wow! …wow. I cannot stress how unbelievably shitty this store treats its potential customers. I was looking to buy some boots and the employee was sitting at the counter working– walked all around the store– he never asked if we needed help. I finally locate the boots and can’t find any prices. So I grab one, walk over and say, «I can’t find any prices, how do I know how much?» He looks up and says, «$ 160.» And goes back to work. No «do you want to try them on,» doesn’t get up to come talk, nothing. I grab a second pair and walk over and ask price again. Seemingly annoyed he says, «The same, $ 160.» And goes back to work. Wow. Why on earth would I pay $ 160 for boots in a store where apparently I can’t even try on the shoes? Tuesday afternoon during Sundance and Marmot doesn’t care about their customers. I will NEVER shop at this(or any other) Marmot store. Congrats!

I’ve walked in this store no less than 4 times in the past 9 months and had only one good experience. Three of the four times I was completely ignored by the person behind the desk, twice when I was the only person in the store. Today the young woman was in the middle of an obvious personal phone call and it felt too awkward to interrupt to ask her to help me reach the highly placed jackets. They either need to hire responsible adults that understand this is a job, not an alternative to their home phone, or not position any goods beyond easy reach of a customer.
