Took my gf there to get her nails done and service was great. The owners son was helpful and nice. Def would recommend going there

This place is unsanitary… and unskilled workers. They do not sanitize their equipment. I went here once for an eyebrow wax 2 years ago. My face was burned and skin from my eye lid came off. I will not recommend this place for any spa treatments!

I have been going to this nail salon since my Freshman year in High School(2006). I’ve tried many nail salons within the vicinity, and Downtown Chicago but, I love this nail salon! Over the years, I noticed the small changes they make. For example, their marketing tactic as shown in the photos. Every person that leaves the salon, obtains a small black & white flyer of their prices, hours & location as well as a stamp card. They also provide week day specials on their Instagram page: CQnails123. Most of their specials I see, is $ 5 off! I only trust a lady named«QQ» with my eyebrows! She does great natural looking lashes as well! I recently discovered that she does individual as well as cluster eyelashes! She also does eyebrow tinting! She’s very friendly! I like her! I like to request a lady named«Ce Ce» when she isn’t busy. Every time I come, she sits at booth #5. She’s popular b/c she does superior work with nail extensions! You don’t feel rushed and she has a conversation with you. Very nice lady! When you go to CQ nails, try to get CeCe & you will see what I’m talking about! Now, on to the feet! I try to get my pedi’s done by this older man w/semi gray hair(not talking about the man w/the glasses). He is like CeCe, he takes his time, VERY friendly, doesn’t rush you and takes pride in his work. I’ve had a bad experience w/a lady that did my pedi a while back and I learned to go to him ever since! If you want to request him, it’s best to go two hours before closing! If I could change anything about this salon, I would request CQ Nails to make the salon more modern and luxurious. With my experience in other salons, you’ll see a reception area right in from of the door with sheer drapes and a sign-in sheet for customers waiting. To get an idea of what I experienced from modern nail salons, Google, Anthony Vince Nail Spa– Peninsula Center.(my favorite out-of-state nail salon when I’m in town!)

It was very crowded, but Selena did my nails and she was very patient, listen to how I wanted my nails and they came out very nice. She is the only one that I will go to

Last time i been here was about 2 years ago… I went because it was in walking distance from my home and when i got there they were very rude. Also, when taking off my acrylic nails they nearly took my entire nail bed. Not only was i bleeding, i had to almost yank the ladys hand off for her to stop. When i asked if they had band aids they stated, we don’t give out band aids and still insisted i pay them for taking 2 out of 10 acrylic nails off. When i refused to pay because of the bleeding and pain they pretty much got upset and wanted to continue the process. Needless to say if 0 stars were available to use i would. I will never go back.

First time customer last week and was pleasantly surprised. No wait. My tech was great — strongly suggest the lemon salt scrub. Can’t wait to go back. Great pricing and even offer you a savers card.

This place is absolutely horrible. I used to go there for their reasonable prices, but I refuse to put my life at risk due to their lack of cleanliness. They do not properly clean out there bowls for pedicures, they lack passion so if you don’t say anything, they’ll leave mistakes, and they are quite filthy in general. The place is so nasty. I overheard a young lady saying how the last time she came to get her eyebrows done, all they did was flip the paper towel over after the previous person just had their head on the other side. She was pissed and had to raise her voice twice towards the lady that she wanted a new cover. She refused to place her head on the same paper towel as another person. That is understandable. Just two weeks ago I decided to give them one more shot and got my nails done. I was seated at rude-crazy-lady station(The second lady to the left as you walk in). She filed my nail crooked and my French tip was noticeably not even. Did I complain? You bet I did !!! She had the nerve to tell me «you’re very picky». I can only imagine the look I gave, but I know it was crazy. I ended up having another lady do my nails for the first lady’s sake. She was not about to do my nails any type of way and expect me to pay for something that was tacky. Very RUDE. I’m done with them.

If I could of given this place less than one star I would of. The service was terrible they obviously are prejudice, I came in and it toke over 10 mins for anyone to even acknowledge me, then since I only needed a nail repainting they rush me into the sit quickly did a half a$$ job on my nails when I started to complain they started speaking in their native language and I know it was about me. Then after correcting my nails they grabbed my purse and handed it to me messing up my nails and even though it was their fault they charged me extra for the repairing. When I argued about that the lady owner called her son out there like that was suppose to mean something. I started to call my 6’7 foot husband and all three of my sons up there but I remembered I was a professional woman more educated than anyone standing there so I simply paid and vowed to never go there again! DONTWASTEYOURMONEY!!!

Last time I was in here last fall, the owner’s son was«in charge» for the day. He was rude, unprofessional and cruel. He actually fired someone for not doing a fill in when she had just started a pedicure on someone else. He even had the nerve to call the police to try to have her forcibly removed. All of this while the salon was full of customers! So unprofessional and awkward for all of the customers in the shop! Well, it turns out that the girl being fired is now at Cindy’s Nails, just a quarter mile away, across Orchard Drive from this dump. They don’t keep their salon clean, they don’t keep it up structurally, and they don’t sterilize their tools. Don’t go to CQ’s Nails. Head to downtown Park Forest and go to Cindy’s Nails for a much brighter, cleaner experience! You will not regret it!

Service STINKS! No one speaks proper English except the younger Asian guy who’s the manager, and if he isn’t there you’re screwed! No one can understand what you are saying and vice versa. Every time I come in I get crappy service lopsided nails, wavy no chip manicure instead of smooth. The only tech that is good is Lilly if that’s her real name every time I come in someone calls her something different each time. She offers excellent massages and can properly do a manicure. I have to ASK for lotion massage, that’s supposed to be included in a manicure it’s RIDICULOUS!!! I came in with gel nails and asked for a no chip manicure instead they started to give me a f’ing fill in WTF!!! When I said why aren’t you soaking off she said I thought want no chip? On top of this filthy gel??? she said we can’t do its almost 8 and a soak off will take an hour?!! Short story don’t waist your money!
