Update: Just wanted everyone to know that Alice (the owner) has been incredibly responsive to my original review and I hope I’ll be able to shop with them again in future. It is a lovely shop and it’s unfortunate that this happened.
Original Review:
I had been eyeing the Maguba mules online and came by to see them in person and just look around since I felt like treating myself to a little something. After the other patrons left (some women and children) the sales woman (taller one with glasses) decided to tell me «If you steal anything then we’ll have problems.» My face went red (well as red as a black person’s face can go!) and I spun on my heels and left. F*** that woman and this store. I am smart, well travelled, speak several languages, and probably make more money in a couple hours than that woman makes in a week but all that racist saw was a lowly black thief. I was seriously considering those heels but I’ll buy them elsewhere. Thanks for ruining my day. Save your «I’m not racist» babble for someone else. I saw you.

A. Cheng has very beautiful items. Their jewelry is particularly gorgeous and well selected. Everything is high end and therefore on the expensive side, but it is a very gorgeous selection. A great place for casual but stand out outfits or special gifts.
