Their doctors are top quality. They sincerely care for the patients this is for sure. Their support staff on the other hand are incredibly unprofessional and have little to no respect for other’s time or needs. I take a prescription whose use is fundamental to my function. I had an instance where I needed them to communicate with the pharmacy. I had to wait at the pharmacy for more than several hours before someone got back to me. And even then, they – apparently — needed to call my doctor to double check. Even though I’m positive they have records of my continuous use of the medication. And all of this occurs behind a poorly constructed veil of busyness. I was told by the front desk office that they’d «find someone» to confirm during my initial call but they obviously didn’t do that(seriously dude? Take five minutes if you’re going to fake getting help). And their nurses, when left with messages, take days(yes, multiple days) before they get back to you typically. It all reeks of lack of respect for the patient. An so I will be moving to another clinic when I can.

Dr. Shauna Gulley and her cohorts are rude, condescending, and possibly unethical. I was seeing Shauna for treatment of my high blood pressure. Since I do not have health insurance, I try to keep the Doctor visits to a minimum. On my last visit, Shauna made me wait a half an hour in the waiting room, and an additional half hour in the exam room. When she finally graced me with her presence, she looked at my file for about ten seconds, asked how I was feeling, and then told me she could no longer be my doctor because I couldn’t see her four or more times a year. I said that many visits were unnecessary as the medicine was working and I am in generally good health. She said she practices«Whole health medicine» and that they, «Aren’t a pill mill.» and finally she said«we just aren’t a good fit. » When I said it’s blood pressure medicine not drugs and it is working, she said, «I will give you a ninety day prescription and refer you to another doctor.» The whole exchange took less than 3 minutes and she charged me 117 dollars for the priviledge of being let go. When I had not received a call regarding the referral, I called her office and was redirected to their referral consultant. I left a message and when they finally called me back, the person on the other end said, «We cannot refill your prescription Mr. Schmidt» in a very snippy tone. I responded that I had called for a referral not a prescription. She said«We don’t refer primary care physicians.» To which I replied, «The last thing that Shauna said was that she would refer me to another physician and why are you being so rude? I am going to post a review on Unilocal.» Her last words befrore she hung up were,“You can do whatever you like Mr. Schmidt.” What a horrible and expensive adventure through the healthcare minefield. It should be called«Whole Wallet,» not, «Whole Health.»

When you enter the office, it always smells musty. Kind of strange, and I asked the staff about it one day. They told me they noticed it as well, but had no clue from where the smell was originating. Huh… Anyway…the medical staff is top-notch, but the reception staff could use a little training on patient sensitivity. They can be curt and rude sometimes, but at other times be completely sweet and helpful. I give this office 4 stars because my PCP is the best I’ve ever had. He shows tremendous patience with me, and takes as much time to discuss my issues as is necessary. I have never had such a compassionate, caring Dr before, and it is a breath of fresh air!
