I accidentally stumbled into this Place and it’s an absolute GEM! The ambiance carries so much charm. All of the photos on the wall and the menu tell e story of a family restaurant that takes pride in its history. I am a visitor to the area but there were many locals which always means good things to me. I started with Garlic Cheesy Bread and an antipasto salad, both were excellent. The pizza I shared with my son was suggested by someone from a neighboring table and it didn’t disappoint. Service was superb and the prices were fair. All together I felt very lucky to find this place while out on the road.

If you like being yelled at by the owner/mayor of Parkersburg then this is your place. The food is fantastic but don’t point out that the service stinks to Mr Columbo! He’ll yell at you in front of everyone and he’ll send you out without caring at all whether you come back or not! I personally and my family will NEVER go there ever again! We’ve been going to that restaurant for over 40 years! I’m so disappointed and heartbroken that I was treated the way I was!

This is one of my all time favorites. They have the best garlic bread and salads. A meal there isn’t complete without both of those. I usually get a sausage pizza and you should too. The restaurant is very clean and the workers are super friendly. It is ran by the family and you can see and talk to Mayor Jimmy Colombo. The servers are very attentive and you really do get to know them. A+ place, is a must visit if you’re in Parkersburg.

Got right in on a Thursday evening with no wait, but then it began. We ask the waitress for a wine list and she stated that they had wine but she didn’t know anything about wine or what they had, we ordered some drinks and when they finally came the waitress spilled one on me and proceeded to use all the napkins on our table to clean it up. Then after ordering our food we waited nearly an hour for a very mediocre meal, with no more check ins from the waitress till she brought our bill. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but I don’t think I will ever be back too find out.

We love this place. The food is great– the prices are reasonable and they have the best mozzarella cheese and garlic toast ever! :)

Not very good… Honestly I think everything is out of a can. What’s the point going to a place that makes a worse Italian food than you can make at home? Very nasty chicken alfredo… Garlic bread was pretty good

We were in town because my daughter was at sibs weekend at OU. We stopped at Texas Roadhouse and the wait was 40 min. We checked on Unilocal and found this place. We had a salad and pizza. The cheese on the salad was fresh mozzarella. It was so creamy. The pizza was amazing! Our server Brandee was very sweet. I would definitely come here again if I’m ever in the area. Also the place is huge so there was no waiting.

I literally grew up at Colombo’s! My mother was a waitress there for over 23 years, my aunt still works there today. I have so many great memories at this place. The house Salad is absolutely great, along with all other foods. Jimmy and Mike always remember who I am and always make it a point to speak to us and everyone who comes through the door. Great local place. Very historic, be sure to take the time to look over all the famous and historic pictures they have on the walls. Best place in town.

This is a self-consciously old-fashioned restaurant located on an old road into town that serves up the sort of Italian food the good folk of Parkersburg were willing to eat in 1954. Meaning this is where you get hearty spaghetti and meatballs(and the cheese comes from a can). But once you adjust to the idea that the meal in front of you will not be nearly as interesting as the walls full of historic pictures of Parkersburg and the Columbo family, you will do fine here. The chicken Parmegan sandwich(served on the garlic bread toast that many a child has filled up on over the years) is a good, reliable filling meal. But, though the food is good, the retro atmosphere is better. This was the nice restaurant your grandparents took you to if you behaved. It looks fancy and old, and full of grandparents talking about their Facebook friends and how their kids really grew up nice even if they have all those tattoos.
