Subs have been great, same as in other locations. I haven’t had the unpleasant experience others have had. I think other places have better subs but jersey mikes is open late And takes credit cards which others don’t. Still it’s a good sub. I have found all the employees at this location to be very friendly and polite.

UPDATE: owner contacted me and said he would be mailing me coupons to make up for my experience. Well, I received nothing in the mail from them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it got lost in mail. I had hoped since then they improved on their quality control. Nope! $ 9 later and again, had barely existent meat on my sub. LAST time at this location. Three strikes your out. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. This franchise owner obviously doesn’t care.

This is not my favorite location of Jersey Mike’s Subs their iced tea always taste sour because they don’t thoroughly clean the machine I’ve told them about it but it still tastes funny this is not my favorite location of Jersey Mike’s Subs the rice tios tastes hour because they don’t thoroughly clean the machine I’ve told him about it but it still taste funny I just left today and the young men at the counter were too busy watching the football game the one putting the oil and vinegar on the sandwiches and asked the sandwiches with oil in vinegar so up after watching him I told him to put my oil and vinegar on the side I don’t need a life preserver just to eat my sandwich. I gave it 3 stars because ingredients are always fresh and delicious

We were taken care of by kids and guess what? They were nice and courteous and happy to be at work. None of the other negative stuff that I saw on here. Maybe they changed over their staff but these guys got it done and they were good guys. Nice job!

This Jersey Mike’s is a disaster. I have been here two times and will never return. The bread was stale both times, there wasn’t much meat on the sub, It’s a shame that the owner of this particular franchise, doesn’t read the reviews here, obviously doesn’t care about quality. Avoid this location, never had a problem with the location on Union Hill Rd in Morganville, that one does it right.

I have to say I have been here 2 times and I love this place. I wish they had one of these is Staten Island. The food is fresh, place is clean. Staff is very kind. The bathrooms are clean.

Why be open till 9pm if you are going to catch a major attitude with customers who walk in at 8:30 pm. Seriously got more faces and dirty looks by the little brat working there. We really like jersey Mikes but treat people like that and they will stop coming

Heard a lot about this franchise so I checked it out. Ordered a turkey sub. The middle size one. There was only three to four thin slices of turkey on it. For 7 dollars? Plus I asked the guy three times not to cut my sandwich and he did it anyway. This place won’t last if their portions are this small. Too many other choices in the area. Ill take tastee subs any day over this place.

If they would slice their cold cuts correctly it would fix a lot of the problems they currently have. They’re sliced too thin so you hardly get anything but bread and lettuce in your sandwich. Making an Italian combo sub(#13) is very easy and they do it better at many other Jersey Mike’s locations. I hope they fix this issue and get their staff to pay better attention to their customers. From what I read in other comments its a problem. Luckily I’ve been treated well. Additionally, the bread tastes more like subway the last time I ate here. It was slightly stale.

A sub to me definitely has to be on a good hoagie roll! The rolls are. Ok at best. Tatse like white bread with a big crust folded in half. So over priced for such little cold cuts and your eating mostly bread! Not good bread either. Lol I’ve had Jersey Mike’s at other locations the bread was great and the sandwhich stuffed. The price was the same but u didn’t mind BC you were getting that bang for your buck. My bf asked for salami as an extra meat and they forgot to put it on.

Total overpriced garbage!!!- went to Gateway shopping Plaza location -.ordered a large Grilled chicken sub. I watched the employee take two chicken breasts out of the freezer and throw them in the microwave then toss them on this huge grill for about 60 seconds with some peppers and onions. They proceeded to make my sub with fixings-I didn’t say a word I figured I would taste it first(after paying $ 12. 00!!!)-I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt– but when i bit into the sandwich it was basically lettuce tomato and onion with a little bit of chicken spread it through this gigantic roll-I bought it back up to the counter and told the employee that the chicken was tasteless and there wasn’t much of it inside the sandwich– he replied«I gave you two huge chicken breasts» I opened up the sandwich in front of the entire staff to reveal a thin line of chicken throughout this large roll-Then, I questioned the manager on why they would microwave chicken when they have a big grill right behind them so they could cook it fresh?-The manager told me was company policy that they do not cook your chicken —they bring it in pre-cooked frozen and then microwave it per order and just quickly sauté on the grill for a minute —How ridiculous and stupid is that!!! if I’m paying $ 12 for sandwich the least I can expect is a freshly grilled piece of chicken!!!-If I want a lettuce and tomato sub with a little bit of meat I can go to Subway and that’s only six dollars!!-This place is a bunch of advertising and hype– Typical chain junk With the staff who could care less!!- do not waste your money or your time!

I love Jersey Mike’s(at least their location in San Diego). The location in Gateway shopping Center is a disappointment. I have called in and order twice for the club supreme and twice they failed to make the correct sub. It’s fantastic for I keep getting free subs made the way they are listed on their menu but it’s an extreme hassle having to run back to the shop. They absolutely need to train their entire teenage staff the correct way to make their subs on the menu. Word of caution, check your order before leaving!

This Jersey Mike’s just opened up recently in the Gateway Shopping Plaza on route 9. I guess they must have opened between August and now as the last time i was down here visiting my family in June it was still a Quiznos. I was excited to see that there was a newly opened one on the east coast where my family lives and as i was in town for a visit in September i decided to give this location a try thinking it would be as good as the Santa Clara one. Boy was i dead wrong… I regret even wasting the $ 14 i spent on my two sandwiches that night. So i go in to get 2 sandwiches Right? Well first of all i notice they hardly have any customers, except a couple at one table, and a guy at another. The inside looked nice and bright with 3 wall tvs so you can watch from whatever table you choose to sit at. At the far end the line for ordering then paying began. So i get in line, there is 1 person in front of me. The lady places her order then heads to the register to pay and wait. I’m next, i place my order which is Chicken Caesar wrap, and a regular size Chipotle Chicken cheesesteak sub. The guy asks me what kind of tortilla i want my chicken caesar on and after telling me what they have i pick spinach. Nice and simple, no? Anyway i finish my order and go up to the register to pay and wait. If you have been to any Jersey Mike’s then you know how the ordering process goes, its not rocket science. Turns out the lady in front of still hadn’t paid for her order because the kid in charge of the register was too busy watching the game that was on that night, and chatting/physically playing with his coworker. You know what i mean, the stupid things guys do when they’re together, jumping on each other, hitting each other… etc. So the lady waits, and he finally notices and rings her up. Next its my turn, he zones out again toward the screen for nearly 5 minutes and then decided to finally turn toward me and ring me up, but he forgets my order and even though i repeat it to him twice he still gets it wrong, on the third try he finally gets it right, i pay, and go find a place to sit and wait. At this point in the 10 minutes of waiting 2 other people walk in, a woman followed shortly by a man. Each of them places their order, with the woman ordering 3 sandwiches, and the guy ordering 1 then they go up, pay, and wait. Another 10 minutes pass by and as i’m becoming impatient i see an order being finished, thinking that since its most likely the lady’s that’s in front of me i get excited thinking mine should be ready soon. True enough her order is ready, and she takes it and leaves, i get up and approach the counter thinking they’re done with mine as i see them wrapping something, but no, it turns out it was one of the sandwiches that belonged to the lady behind me. Puzzled and annoyed at this point i sit back down and decide to wait a few more mins. The 2 kids at the register are once again goofing off and being idiots, since they’re not busy what else can they do… yeah right. They just don’t want to be there probably, they didn’t even try to look busy. Anyway, 5 mins pass and i see them bagging some sandwiches, i get up assuming they’re mine but no, they belong to the lady behind me. Unbelieveable, she came or 10 mins after me, ordered 3 sandwiches and is walking out before me. At this rate its been nearly 30 mins of waiting time for me, so i get up and approach the register and just as i’m about to ask about my order the idiot kid at the register hands me a sandwich in my hand and says«the second one will be ready in 5 mins.» No bag, not even«sorry for the wait.» nothing, doesn’t even ask me if i want a stupid bag to place my sandwich in while i wait, i guess i will just hold it like this in my hand. The guy that was last in line gets his sandwich and goes to sit at a table and eat, meanwhile i’m the only one left, so i look to see what’s going on that could be taking so long and i notice the guy that’s supposed to be working the grill complaining to the guy who took my order and saying«aww maaan do i really hafta do this? its so annoying.» So i watch the order taker say a warning of «its your job, if you won’t do it then move aside and let me do it because she’s been waiting a while.» And glance at me. Seeing me watching the whole thing i see him try to rush the other guy, who takes out 1 small square of cold chicken from a drawer, tosses it on the grill, and proceeds to make my wrap. Though the guy who took my order actually finished it for me, because the idiot who was supposed to do it felt like taking a break. Wow… just wow. When i got home later i realized that they messed up my order, Not only did i not get a spinach tortilla on my wrap but the chicken was cold, and there was like 3 pieces in there. All that hassle for a cold sandwich and a waste of money. Never again. And i hope they fire the kids that work there because i will not be back.
