Food is great the staff needs to learn better customer service skills. Their sushi is really good food low salt and not greasy I did enjoy it very much. Very tasty I just wish the lady’s weren’t so rude.

Horrible service! 45 min delivery promised but was actually an hour and 15 minutes. They only got 1 roll right out of 3 and they charged for spicy mayo and of course it was not in the bag really disappointed.

Food is average. Not necessarily cheap but not as expensive as some other Asian cuisine restaurants. The food was average. Not terrible but not outstanding. Their sushi, however, was notably bad. It didn’t taste fresh.
The service was all right. Most times when we came it wasn’t busy so we’d be seated right away. Usually though, the waitress (sometimes waiter) would be difficult to understand or talk to about questions (not their fault I know but still a nuisance). Also, typically we wouldn’t get checked ob after we got our food until we were done. And we always felt rushed.
The décor is nice and cozy.
But what made me stop going was my sister found hair in her food. Twice.
First time she dismissed it as her own but a month later the same thing happened and we left.
The food was all right but not worth going back after the two incidents.

Used to come here a lot. I liked the cheap lunch specials and I thought the food was pretty good until I went for dinner one night. I got general tsao chicken (bad choice already… i know) and was utteryly disgusted. First of all, i cut into a piece of chicken and I kid you not it was GREEN and i could barely penetrate my fork into the meat because of how rubbery and hard it was. As if that wasn’t enough, i found two pieces of hair in my dish which I am certain did not come from me because I do not have medium length grey hair. Although the staff was pretty friendly, I will not be returning. Awful experience.

Horrible horrible horrible to the point I have a stomach ache, Co worker and I ordered the lunch special general tso and it seemed as if we had ordered deep fried over cooked, crunchy chicken. the chicken was supper hard to the point my plastic fork broke yet had no sauce, broccoli wasn’t steamed or anything. wouldnt recommend this place for noone and i want a refund …

We ordered Chinese for lunch at my office today. I specifically ordered my General Tso’s with no broccoli. They screwed up and gave me an order with broccoli. We called them up about it and they rushed back to fix the problem with a brand new order… and it was delicious!
Summary: Great food. Good customer service. A real win.

I don’t think this place is under the same management. Last time my boyfriend and I ordered food, we were told 15 – 20 mins. We actually came about 25 mins later and the food was still not ready, nor did the front end girl know when it would be ready. Like not even an estimate? I understand things happen, but at least tell me how much longer it will be! The other person waiting said he had called ahead as well and was also waiting over their estimated time. The girl also kept answering the phone in the middle of talking to me, which was both irritating and awkward… no excuse me, just picked up the phone and stopped the sentence she was just saying. Not like I expect a full on conversation, I understand there is a bit of a language barrier, but wow this place just sucks with customer service. On top of that, the food is definitely not what we used to get, so with that we won’t be back.

I ordered takeout– this review is more regarding the food.
I ordered sushi and miso soup, and I thought the rolls were some of the best I’ve had. Spicy tuna avocado was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying! The golden eye roll was huge too, so delicious! I would definitely recommend for takeout.

Ate here for the first time. Average food. Definitely not the best sushi I’ve had. Service was average as well with nothing special of the staff. Won’t travel out of the way to return. Glad I tried it because now I know that I’m not a fan.

Oh my gosh my entire family got terribly sick, spent the night in the bathroom after having dinner here. Had ordered sushi, fried rice and the curry dish. Never Again!!! are we coming here!

Ate here on a quiet weeknight. Takeout was booming but the attractive dining room was sparsely occupied. The room itself is very attractive and clean. Service was excellent despite a bit of language difficulties. I was impressed that the two young ladies managing the front would swoop right in if they noticed any confusion with the waitresses and make sure everything was right. There definitely seems to be a desire to make guests feel happy .
Food was really good. Everything was nicely presented and portion sizes were perfect. The menu is pretty straight forward Chinese and sushi with a bit of Thai mixed in. The advantage they have over their competition is the nice interior and staff that is eager to please

Ashia is a great sit down chinese resturant. They do serve a good variety of food ranging from all sorts of chinese food to japanese to sushi. We ordered all on the Chinese section. The waitress always had an eye on our table for when we needed anything and frequently checked in. We got the food at a timely manner and it was quite proportional to what we expected and paid for. The places is clean and has a quiet atmosphere. We always go after 7pm, so there is generally less people dining at that time. It is a good local place for if you are interested in having a sit down rather then ordering in. they do take out as well if you want it

Came here on Sunday evening because the Groupon.
First disappointment was that you can not order from the Suishi combo section.
Second disappointment was the slow service as mentioned by other reviewers.
After waiting for 35 minutes, I finally got my 8 pieces of sushi which were just subpar. Definitely not worth the $ 22 price tag.
Not coming back for sure!

We ended up here because it was convenient to the Parsippany movie theatre. We were very pleased with our dinner. On the plus side, it’s BYO and the interior is quite nice for the price range. The menu is extensive, offering Chinese, Sushi and Thai food – all on one menu. This turned out to be great for our group’s differing preferences. We found the service to be excellent, though it was a wee bit difficult to understand the waitress. The manager was attentive, stopping by several times (although we were not there at a busy time). Reports on the food (all 3 types) were excellent, though I found that the Pad Thai was lacking in sufficient vegetables. It kind of came off as a pile of noodles. I would ask for extra vegetables next time and skip the chicken or shrimp.
It’s right next door to an outstanding Indian super-market.

The food at Ashia is excellent! Not to mention an incredibly attentive staff.
Today we ordered sushi lunch and it was amazing. Aside from a great presentation, everything was very fresh. Quite frankly, the thing that differentiates sushi is the quality of the rice and Ashia’s is second to none.

The Chinese food is YUM… the sushi not that great. I always end up ordering some mushy roll (ew). If they’re busy, they will take forever to get to you as well as for delivery. So don’t go on a Friday night around dinner. Love the ahi tuna appetizer.

I ordered in from here last night with some friends, and we each got 2 sushi rolls. But when they got to my house they were cones of seaweed filled with what we ordered. (ex: a spicy salmon roll was a cone of seaweed filled with white rice and salmon.) It was so odd. They tasted amazing, but it was so strange to have a cone of sushi. Make sure you click the right things if ordering online! I can’t tell if I messed up or they did. Either way, it was really good.

I’m always wary about trying new Chinese places but last night after a long day of work I was tired and hungry and didn’t feel like leaving my apt.
So I checked out places on Unilocal and found this one. Ordering online was fast and easy, and delivery was quick. They even called me to confirm my address.
The won ton soup was excellent. Hot and fresh tasting. The chicken and broccoli was good, except the chicken was a little over cooked. The broccoli was fresh. I’ll definitely order again.
One downside: the phone lady spoke too fast and didn’t listen to me when I tried to explain where my apt is.
