Loved this place! This was my first time having Moroccan and I will deff go back! The atmosphere, the belly dancer, the décor, the food, the seating, the service… The only thing I can say is that it is a little pricey, but you only live once, so fill those belly’s! It is BYOB and I would recommend reservations.

Good ambiance, set up is very accommodating to large groups. We went on a weekday and we had the place to ourselves. We liked the chicken cigars app but I have had better Doma or grape leaves in the past. The lamb stew was very tender and the mixed grill was good, esp the chicken. The service could have been better considering we were the only people there.

I came here about a two years ago for a college trip(for Arabic Class). The décor was really pretty and authentic. It was kind of small but it wasn’t crowded at all. One of my class mates got us a deal on meals. The food wasn’t all that good. For the most part it was bland and pretty spice-less, which is weird because I expected Moroccan food to be similar to other Arab foods(I’m Arab so I ate Arab food a lot). Our meal include salad, hummus, an entrée of chicken or beef, and a dessert. Not sure what the desert was… Looked like cooked filo dough situ syrup and fruit… Overall, I haven’t returned and probably won’t. Nothing stood out.

We had a birthday to celebrate. We got there. Table was not ready for 8PM. After about 30 minutes or so, we sat down. We did not order until 8:45. They have 2 set, one for 29, and one for 39. here the trick, everyone in same party must order the same! That sucked, so any way we all decided to order the same. Food comes 45 minutes later, during this time, someone had to go back and ask for waiter to come for drinks, etc. Language was not an issue, Lack of hospitality was! Food comes in, ITISOK, I had a lot better. But next time i want to spend that kind of money, i make sure i check the restaurant. I can not gave anything more than D–

Marrakesh is a Moroccan restaurant that is a cultural experience that transports you to a far away land. The food is great and the atmosphere is pleasing. We went there for a birthday celebration and everyone had a great time.

Marakesh is awesome for dinner parties! An interior is very unique with low sofas to sit and little round tables. Belly dancing starts later at night. The dancers are doing a really good job and make sure they dance in front of every table. There is music after the show and some people are dancing. The food is great! I love their kebabs — very juicy. You can also bring your own alcohol.

Terrible service. Took an hour and a half before any one came to take our order. Loud obnoxious music and cheesy strobe lights, which they refused to turn down. Food took forever to come out. I’ve had plenty of Moroccan food before, this was mediocre at best. They added in 30% gratuity and forced us to order more food than we could eat. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have 3+ hours to waste. I will not be returning.

The food was average and overpriced. I was very surprised that their hummus was tasteless. You really go to this place for the atmosphere and belly dancing which was different. The waiter was slow and catered more to the family parties. 18% gratuity was included in the bill.

This was my first experience with Moroccan food, I didn’t think anything was really superb here. This place has a decent atmosphere and a belly dancer that comes out on weekends for a show. I noticed that when the belly dancer had finished, she walked into the back without picking the money up that the patrons threw. I then saw the owner walk over to collect the money, and put most of it in her pocket. After that she gave the dancer just a few singles of the 30 or 40 dollars that were thrown. On top of that, every person that is present when the dancer comes out is charged a 2 dollar fee. There is also included gratuity and a 25 dollar per person minimum. I’d say this place is a total rip off, and due to the fact that I watched patrons tip the dancer just to have the owner pocket the money I will surely not return. This is extremely disrespectful to tippers as well as employees.

I love Moroccan food and when a friend told me about this place I called my travel buddy and we took the drive here. It gets busy on the weekends and space is limited so make sure to make reservations. Also they don’t have a liquor license so it’s BYOB We were warmly greeted and sat down at a table in the middle of the restaurant. We decided to go with the 8 course option for 40PP and as our main course we got the lemon chicken tagine. Everything was good but I really enjoyed the Moroccan cigars. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have harira that day since is one of my favorite Moroccan dishes but maybe next time. They had a belly dancer which was really good and she did a few dances and even got some of the customers involved. This hasn’t been the best Moroccan restaurant I been to outside of Morocco but it was pretty good.

My first experience having Moroccan food was at this restaurant and I cannot find one single thing that is a negative about this place. The food was fantastic, the staff was engaging(even when we came SOCLOSE to their closing time) and the service was phenomenal. They treated us like family and were patient with our group of 3 and allowing us to order whatever we wanted and allowed us to go back and forth as we sometimes do. I had the lamb and a mix of other items but may I just say the lamb… the LAMB is tender, had an amazing taste and you could just tell that it was fresh and it was done right as they would have back at home. The way I was eating the kous kous that I had along with the lamb probably made the chicken entrees think I was cheating on them because it was just so good and when I was almost full I went and entertained the chicken entrees. The tea that is served was a first for me and it was very good. As in — I wanted to know how it was done, how long it took, what was in it, …just everything. I’ll have to drop by this place if only to enjoy the food, the company, the Arabic music and the décor. Five star restaurant. You have to go to Marrakech if you have the time(or better yet — just make time for it!)

This place is beautiful! It was like walking into a Moroccan Restuarant in Morocco. The décor helped set the tune of the night. You’re seatted around a gold table and there are no chairs, just couches. Arabic music playing, and walls decorated. My friend and I came on a Sunday night and this place was empty! Our server was very attentive and made suggestions based on us wanting to try authentic Moroccan food and not an infusion of anything. The menu was full of options for both the food enthusiast and the safe player. For appetizer we had the chicken cigars. Absolutely delicious! It was curried chicken wrapped in what seemed to be a filo dough and fried. Our entrees were interesting… We had the tilapia which was sautéed in a very rich, flavorful sauce, and loaded with vegetables. This is great choice for anyone. It’s both a safe and traditional dish. We also ordered the lamb couscous. The meat was extremely tender and cooked well. There was a little too much fat for my liking and I did not enjoy the meat as much as I would’ve hoped but my friend enjoyed it. The dessert was amazing!!! Traditional Mediterranean sweets but not overly sweet. We ordered the green tea which is a MUST. It was loaded with fresh leaves and herbs. Without a doubt the best tea I have ever had. No question about it, this is a solid option for a fun night. They have live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays and the food is great.

LOVEIT. Food: Highly recommend the prixe fixed(2 options) depending on how much food you want Salad: one of my favorite in the area, the coriander dressing is simple but so flavorful. The entrees have all been good, one of my favorites is the chicken shawarma. Service/Atmosphere: Décor is awesome, you sit on couches filled with pillows at a round table which can be slightly awkward to eat at. This place does an excellent job transforming a «strip mall» location into something that feels very authentic. Service has always been good, friendly and attentive. Food comes out pretty quickly. They have belly dancer shows Friday and Saturday. Note that a charge is included in your bill(entertainment) for this. Tips: Check out the lunch specials BYOB Make reservations for weekends/large groups Great date night or group setting
