Service: With other Panera locations, I remember ordering at one counter and then moving down to pick up my order at a different counter, which is what I did here. It was about 11am and the store was fairly empty — empty enough that there wasn’t anyone behind me ordering. So, I go to the pick up counter and there are about 5 employees just standing there laughing and talking amongst themselves(not preparing food). Finally one looks at me asks if they can help me, and I say that I’m waiting for my order and I give the name on the order and then the employees that were just standing there start looking around at each other as if they had no idea what was going on. Finally someone says to take a seat and that they would bring the order to the table. As I walk away, all I hear is laughing. About 20 minutes later someone comes to the table with the order and asks for a buzzer which we weren’t given one. Then about 2 of the employees that were behind the counter laughing and talking came out to the dining area sat down and were laughing and talking amongst themselves at one of the tables. It was overall a bad experience. What we ate: We ordered an egg white with avocado and spinach sandwich and a toasted bagel with peanut butter. Would we return? Not any time soon.

Food is always fantastic although not usually as healthy as advertised. The digital ordering system was kinda confusing but easy to get the hang of quickly lol I would’ve given 5 stars… except WHEREDIDTHECHIPOTLECHICKENPANINIGO? :(

This Panera makes me never want to go to another one again! Just got home and for the second time, I was charged a bowl serving of soup and received a cup in my bag! I tried this location out as soon as they opened over the summer with a coupon sent out via mail for a BOGO You Pick Two… not only was I charged for both, but also was given two bowl size cups filled half way. I guess that’s my fault for not double checking the bill, however what’s the reason for my half empty bowl?! Wish I took a picture because I was in disbelief something could leave the kitchen like that. I called Panera customer service, who connected me to the store, who told me I would have to come back in to get a refund for the mis charge… not worth the effort for such a small amount of money, so that wasn’t happening. What really amazes me, though, was when the manager then told me that they ran out of cup sizes for soup that day so everyone who ordered one was getting a bowl half full. 1) I didn’t order a cup so that’s irrelevant and 2) As a retail manager myself, I would never allow customers to think they’re getting less food because of an issue with store supplies. Everyone should have just had bowls that day at no extra charge, or maybe just have cashiers warn customers that they’ll receive a half-filled bowl for cup portions! The fact that I just went back today and was given a cup while my receipt says bowl shows they either aim to control expenses by being stingy, or just flat out don’t have proper training for employees, but either way I’m done with this location, period.

Had high hopes when the Parsippany location opened but unless you eat at the restaurant so you can have the staff fix your order when it comes out messed up you don’t have a chance getting a correct order either at the drive-thru or doing rapid pickup online. The last time we used the drive-thru and the last two times we have ordered rapid pickup the orders was not correct. Looks like they to check off on the receipt each item they prepare but they don’t match what is in the bag. Have gotten small soups when we ordered and paid for large. ½ salads when we order whole ones. Sides not correct. When I called to complain I was told they can’t credit me for the mistakes made. I have to return to the store. Strange they can accept my payment online but can’t refund when they screw up. Asked for the manager one time when I called and he wasn’t available but was told when I came in again to ask for him and he would give me the item that was wrong. Next time I was in he wasn’t there. This last visit I even took the time to look through the bag and make sure the number of items matched what I ordered but still something came through wrong. So sad since the food is very good. We don’t usually order during the busy times so there is no excuse for these mistakes. If you are going to have someone check the order for correctness then have them actually do it right instead of a quick glance. Need to train the staff better.

Can never go wrong with Panera Bread. This site was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a power kale Caesar salad and green tea. The salad was crisp and extremely Delicious, but I think nextTime I would ask for a few parmesan flakes on top, they were very salty. And as tempted as I was to get a bakery item– a warm chocolate chip cookie I had to decline.

The only sandwich I’ve tried so far is the steak and white cheddar, which is pretty good. The mac n cheese is very tasty, I’ve had it numerous times. I haven’t used the drive-through yet, not sure if I’ll be giving it a shot…

I should warn you, this place is beautiful but not being run properly! Ticket time for a latte is approx 15 minutes. This is when there is 3 people in the restaurant! What happens when they are busy? I hope that they get it together bc it is terrible!!!

I have a love hate relationship with Panera… I actually like the food here, but I think the prices are too high and I feel like they are a bit pretentious. That said, I try to give any place a fair shake without my bias coming into play. I’ve been at this Panera three times since it opened and this location seems to have its share of issues in getting orders out in a timely manner. The food is consistent with other places, a HUGE plus for me with a chain, but all three times I’ve ordered here there is an issue getting the food out to us. Place is still new, is very clean, has friendly order takers, and the food out front always looks great. I’ve had one of their huge salads here, I’ve ordered chili in a breadbowl and the most recent time my son and I just ordered smoothies. Again, taste and quality of the food was great, and it’s SOOO much better for you than fast food, but when I am literally standing there waiting for my to-go order and three orders come out before mine, from people who ordered after me, then something is amiss in the back. I will keep coming here because my wife and kids like it, but I’d like to see them bump this up to four stars simply by fixing any problems they have behind the counter…

Drive thru sucks I’m sorry to say. I have been sitting for over 15 minutes and I’m the third car in line. If I could get out of it I would. Ridiculous

There is not a boatload of quick lunch options in this part of Parsippany and this Panera is definitely not one of them. When I first saw that they had a drive-thru and on-line order process, I thought that would be efficient… big fat NO! Panera is not made for drive-thru and that’s okay, it just doesn’t work for this type of food. Expect very long waits in your car and orders that are not 100% correct. The on-line order option is fine, but you are forced to pay upfront with a credit card — not a big fan of them storing my card info, but it is convenient if they get your order right. Not so fun when you get back to your office to find the wrong order(more than once). Ordering at the counter is another long wait. Not sure if the combination of drive-thru, on-line ordering, take-out and dine-in is just too much for them, but they always appear to be disorganized and over-whelmed and I haven’t received a correct order from either of those options either. It’s messy in there and just a complete clusterfuck. There, I said it.

Not your moms panera. Good quality has slipped and I bit overpriced. Not a horrible alternative but I remember panera when they first started. Not as fresh as it was in past.

so far I am not 100% impressed but I like it. this is my first time at this Panera since it opened so I was curious what this place was like as opposed to the other locations. I wont be too sure of my opinion till I try it a few times, that way I can back of my opinions. The place is clean and the people are nice. however the set up is kinda weird but I am comparing to that to the 3 other locations I have been to which is generally just one isle long. I wasn ‘t too fond of the young people just roaming around aimlessly like they didn’t have much to do. The food was good though except the bread seemed slightly too hard. quick service as we waiting in the chairs for our pickup to be done. on another note, the express pickup, drive thru and seats outside is a nice touch to this location. I think I want to try them all too one day.

This is becoming my favorite lunch spot. Healthy and good food. The air conditioning on this 95 degree day is good. The WiFi in here is strong as heck. I see many just doing work here. Not a bad place to study or do work. Today I had the Strawberry Salad and tuna sandwhich. Both were great

Love this place. Offers many free items if you download the Panera app. I received a free coffee and pastry during my first visit.

Loved this place! I came here today with my mom and aunt via the recommendation of my uncle. He recommended the Green Passion Power smoothie and roasted turkey and avocado BLT sandwich. So that’s exactly what I got. They were both equally insanely delicious. When I first saw the portion size of the roasted turkey and avocado BLT I received(I got the half sandwich at $ 5.99), I was surprised at how tiny it was. Nonetheless I was pleasantly surprised once I bit into it. The white bread, turkey, bacon, tomato, and avocado were all equally as fresh as the other. The service was great as the young woman behind the register was extremely patient and answered all our numerous questions since we were first timers at Panera bread. After you order, if you are eating in, you’re handed a number tablet and they bring out your food when it’s ready. The green passion power smoothie is so insanely good and delicious. You can taste all of the ingredients listed in the smoothie perfectly blended together. To me it was the perfect consistency not too thick not too watery. The smoothie was $ 4.59 and the sandwich came out to $ 6.52. This is well worth it for a meal that will definitely satisfy you a good amount of hours and it’s a healthy alternative. I love this place so much that I’m going to come back to it tomorrow since I leave town the next day. So happy I get to go back to New York and enjoy some more Panera bread! I have a new found love with this place.

**EDIT11/18/15** So after sitting in the drive thru for another 11 minute round(after paying), I got home with my you pick 2 of autumn squash soup(always good) and the sierra turkey sandwich. The sandwich was seriously lacking meat — literally, ONE piece of turkey folded over. ONE! The bread was extremely stale. I was not going all the way back, but this is extremely aggravating as they aren’t cheap & it was a waste of food & my money. **EDIT8/25/15** I went through the drive through last week, was the first one to order. I sat at the window after I paid for 13 minutes. They claimed they were waiting on the mac and cheese. I got home, both soups were warm turning cool, so I had to re-heat them. Wasn’t thrilled, as my first drive thru experience I was in and out within 4 minutes. Gorgeous inside, very comfy cozy feeling. Was a tad confused with the entrance as the place to order was almost in another bldg, you enter into the main dining room area by the food runners. I liked how they brought the food to the tables for you, however it was super confusing because we got the wrong order. They didn’t say we had to sit at the table with the same number as our order number, which made it even more confusing because how do they know where to go? I also think they need more seating. Some small tables and small booths to fit 2 comfortably, but for a bigger family, there’s a small handful of seating.

This location just opened up and it is beautiful inside. The staff was very nice, the service was quick and they bring the food to you which is a nice change from other panera’s I’ve been to. There is seating outside, a drive thru, and you can order your food online and come pick it up in a designated area. I hope it stays this great!
