The pathmark grocery store is not great, but I like their pharmacy. I would give 4 stars to their pharmacy and 1 star to the grocery shopping.
The pharmacy has really good hours, I don’t have to rush from work to be able to get the medication. All staff members are really nice and knowledgable. I wish they would call me when the prescription is ready for pick up. But if I call them myself, they are always nice.
The groceries are more expensive than Shoprite across the road, there is less selection and produce looks old most of the times. I can’t ever find any good cuts of meat there. The fish doesn’t look fresh.
It’s hard to find someone to help you find what you need.

Good place to shop, never too busy to get what you need and get out. They do not have as much of a variety as shoprite but if you don’t feel like waiting in long lines and fighting through the crowds this is the place to go.

I was in the self checkout section and I could not find the barcode on th e newspaper I was purchasing. I said excuse me to a lady named miranda. And immediately she was rude and not helpful at all. Even though pathmark is closer to me I would go out of my way to go to shoprite just for their welcoming and helpful employees

If this supermarket wasn’t so close to my apartment I’d be at Shop-​Rite every time. The selection and quality of the produce is poor, at best. Things aren’t properly labeled, making it difficult to know what you’re purchasing.

Really nice people who work here and they’ll go out of their way to help you. Loved coming here during the lunch hour because there wasn’t a lot of people, there was always close parking spaces available and their prices are pretty good.
Self-​checkout option is very easy to use and you’re in and out quickly as long as you know what you are looking for.

What a great Pathmark to add to the Pathmark chains. It is clean, and bright, with wide aisles. Wish they had the 5cent bag incentive they have at some other Pathmarks.
**update — you DO get a bag discount of 2 cents, but you can’t do self check out for that.
