I love the steak sandwich here! It’s delicious and unique. The cocktails are a bit too strong here especially the ones for happy hour.

I happened to be staying at the Hilton on business so I intended on staying for a while to do work. I started with the ahi tuna appetizer since it was a happy hour special and it was among the best I’ve ever had and a great value during happy hour. I then had the chef special with a starter salad, 6 oz filet with 3 shrimp and creamed spinach. The filet was cooked perfect and everything else was very good. The only thing I would change is to specify less butter on the sizzling plate. It wasn’t overkill since it was on the plate, but the steak and shrimp were so good on their own. Management checked on once my main course was served. Drinks were well made. What really stands out to me about the experience is the service. I have never seen better service. It was almost as though I was the only one in the restaurant although it was full. Very, very impressive staff and management and great food. I am in the minority of travelers with my indifference between Hilton and Marriott, but my experience at Ruth Chris would surely influence my decision to return.

We came here to celebrate our good friend Mike’s 60th birthday, ordered some wine by the glass and cocktails they were average. I had the Filet and lobster which was exceptional, everyone else had enjoyed their dinner as well.

I ate here last night with some colleagues as part of a business meeting and was impressed by the entire dining experience. The service was wonderful, the ambience was delightful, and the food was delicious. I started the meal with stuffed mushrooms and ceasar salad prior to the succulent petite filet cooked to perfection. Afterwards, they served a mini cheesecake. I’m not talking a slice of cheesecake, I’m talking a WHOLE mini cheezecake. None of us could finish it and joked that the cheesecake was a meal in itself! I highly recommend Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.

The food is delicious. I have been to several steakhouses in Manhattan, and the steaks here are on par with all of those. The other food is great too. The service is also top notch too. The restaurant is expensive, so the waiters make sure to treat you like a valued customer.

My husband and son took me out to dinner for my birthday and everything was exquisite. Our waiter Miquel was exceptional — not condescending or impatient. His suggestions were very helpful and his description and explanation of the entrees were very concise. This was the first time going to a five star establishment and Miguel made us feel very comfortable. I had a Dirty Martini w/three olives. Very smooth. For the appetizer I choose the Veal Osso Busco Ravioli with sautéed spinach with onions and garlic. Heard of it but never had it before.. .. DELICIOUS !! We all loved it and both of my men are very finicky. Dinner I order medium-rare Rib-eye steak. My hubby and son ordered a 32 oz bone in Rib-eye to share. We ordered the mashed potatoes, sauteed Spinach(share size). Everything was excellent. The steaks were out-of-this world! My steak melted in my mouth. We did not even think about steak sauce. To put anything on the steaks would destroy this work of art. Finally, they surprised me by bringing an individual serving of chocolate cheese cake with(I think) walnut dark chocolate bark. Prior to our arrival they had happy birthday confetti on our table. One of the best dinners I have ever had. BTW: Had them doggie bag that big ol’ bone for my 3 puppies at home.

Soooo good! For a steakhouse chain it doesn’t get much better than this. Be prepared to put a dent in your wallet though because it is super pricy. Is it worth it? I say hell yeah! I probably only visit a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse once a year because I don’t think my arteries can handle any more than that. When I visit though I go all in with ordering the most unhealthy options. Not that there is really anything healthy on the menu to begin with. So we started out with the shrimp cocktail which comes with four colossal chilled shrimp and their delicious spicy cocktail sauce. My wife ordered the petite ribeye and I went for the 10oz filet. Both were cooked medium to perfection. They arrive to the table served on their signature sizzling 500 degree hot plates begging to be devoured. And devour I did! I recommend asking to go light on the butter when ordering. Nothing else needed but a fork and knife. If you ask for steak sauce then you belong at an Outback Steakhouse. Usually we go with the creamed spinach on the side but once I saw they had lobster Mac and cheese on the menu, I couldn’t resist. Man oh man is that stuff good; three cheeses melted in with a generous portion of lobster chunks. Desert? No room for it! Went home and penciled in my reminder for next year’s visit!

I realized as I was writing another review that I never left one for this place! I’ve been here a few times, and was never disappointed. In July, I decided to bring my SO for a surprise birthday dinner. I let them know when I made the reservation. When we arrived, they were so friendly!!! They led us to the table, and dropped«Happy Birthday» confetti all over it. He was embarrassed, but touched. The waitress explained the menu to us and left us to decide. As we do with any special occasion at a steakhouse, we ordered the Porterhouse for Two because we like to be schmoopy and share. We opted for the lobster mac and asparagus. We devoured that steak. It was so delicious. It was cooked perfectly, came out sizzling, the waitress served our first pieces. Incredible. The lobster mac was awesome. The asparagus was asparagus. I had a cake waiting at home for him, to celebrate with mom and daughter, so we had to skip dessert. She brought out a plate with«Happy Birthday» written on it in chocolate and a sampling of strawberry shortcake and chocolate. They also took our picture and gave it to us in a little frame before we left. We’ll be back!

I can’t believe a Steak House of this caliber and price offers no GRASSFED steaks! Back room is sterile and not as nice atmosphere as front 2 rooms. Service was great. Calamari appetizer excellent. Chilean Sea Bass excellent but a little too buttery. Hubby’s 16 oz Rib-eye was fair but not worth $ 50. Steak comes out on a tiny plate so there is no room to put the sides. All plates come out sizzling hot, I guess that is why plates are so small. Spinach Side was excellent. enough for 4 people. Bread pudding excellent, too big for one person. One appetizer, 2 meals, 1 side, 2 desserts and $ 75 bottle of wine, total $ 220.00.

First time here and i have to say the attitudes of the servers were absolutely terrible there was a lot of sarcasm and it almost seemed as if they didn’t even want to be there although the food was delicious how a server should treat a first time costumer was no where in sight in this place new waiters and waitresses should be hired because from the looks of it i am not the only one who feels this way about the staff PLZFIXIMMEDIATELY!!!

Service(4): Upon arrival I was greeted by Manny at the bar. He was not very friendly and seemed irritated. Amanda(another bartender) was extremely helpful with my menu selections and beverages. If I had to base my review solely on Manny, I’d give it a 2 but, since Amanda stepped up I changed my mind. Food(4): I’ve never had a bad food experience at RC. Today I opted for the Crab BLT sans the B. Lump crab on toasted garlic bread with zucchini fries. Tasty but not over the top like it was explained to me. I veered away from my usual(Chilean Sea Bass) and, though I’m not overly impresses, I’m not totally disappointed either. I really only came for the cheesecake(had a HORRIBLE experience at another nameless restaurant last night…). I hope my cheesecake tonight is worth the trouble. Stay tuned for an update. UPDATE: Ok, so the cheesecake gets a 3.5. Sheesh! The center was horribly mushy and watery. It appears that the berries were places on top of the finished cheesecake and left there until ordered. The natural juice from the berries caused the pie to lose it’s integrity and become soggy. My search for a decent piece of cheesecake has officially been shattered. RC cheesecake is typically majorly delicious. Drinks(5): I never rate drinks but I felt impelled to do so today. Ordered my Moscow Mule with Ciroc the first round. #2 consisted of a Ruby Red Greyhound(Belvedere Grapefruit Infused Vodka, Elderflower Liqueur, Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Bitters, all topped with Soda Water. Oh! Can’t forget the Grapefruit slice for garnish). Appearance(5): Nestled inside of the Hilton(who, by the way, has a fabulous lobby). Very clean with a nice set-up. Bar was spacious and very inviting. Average overall rating: 4

Service was excellent and environment was nice and quiet. Me and my boyfriend were seated in the end room of the restaurant. We ordered spicy shrimp and crab cake appetizer. Although they were both very tasty, they could have put less salt. Way too salty for such a fresh seafood. The steaks were perfect and cooked well.

This is my favorite Ruth’s Chris to go to in the NJ area. I usually eat at the bar as it is often just me or myself and one other person. Everyone that works here is professional and attentive. All the bartenders are great hosts and always make me feel welcome. Manny and Jill specifically are my favorites to see behind the bar. The food and drinks are good as the service. Steaks always come out perfect and you won’t find a bad side on the menu. I usually go for the creamed spinach. The burgers are also amazing. If I’m in the mood for a good burger this is where I go. I’m a gin martini guy and its always perfect. Last thing I want to add is the managers always come by to say hello and make sure everything was to my liking. It always is but its nice to be asked.

Best steak I ever had! If you are looking to celebrate a nice evening, this is a great place to go. It was a little hard to find in the Hilton, but when we got there, it was early in the evening and had the area we were in almost to ourselves. The waitress was very attentive. Everything starting off from the bread was great, very soft and flavorful. I went with the 3 course dinner with the Butter Lettuse BLT Salad, 16 oz. Ribeye, side of sauteed mushrooms, and dessert was white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Yum! Only problem was ordering a steak so large I had to unfortunately take some home. Plate was sizzling hot, so had to be careful not to touch, but the steak itself was crackling right out of the oven. Great flavor. Definitely glad I came!

After such a nice meal last year, we decided to return for our Anniversary. The meal was perfect in every way. Jules our server handled the evening beautifully. No upselling, no unwanted suggestions. Just pleasant low key friendly service with all our needs attended to quickly and professionally. Started with shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque and calamari. The fried calamari is epic. Our son’s favorite! No tough rings here. The shrimp cocktail comes with an insanely good cocktail sauce. And the bisque was delicious. Good chunks of lobster. No taste of uncooked alcohol. Just perfect. Steaks were deftly cooked to order. Strip, cowboy ribeye and fillet. Two rare, one medium rare, please. Fabulous. Fries, lyonnaise potatoes and mushrooms. Great accompaniments. Duckhorn Merlot was our bottle of choice. The cork broke during service. Usually a sign of poor storage. But the wine tasted great and Jules kept her cool surgically removing the stuck cork. No room for dessert. We learned that the menu will be revamped this summer. You can be certain we will show up to see what’s new and report further here.

I love the ambience of this place, it has an intimate and cozy feel which is perfect for date night. Bread was kinda cold and ‘meh’ but I had my mind set on the main meal so I didn’t mind. I ordered the deal that included a starter, main course, side dish, and dessert for $ 43.95. I started with the BLT salad as per our server’s recommendation which was ok, nothing special. I had the 6 oz filet with shrimp, and my friend had the filet with lobster. My steak was perfectly melt-in-your-mouth medium rare. We ended up getting the lobster Mac and cheese and the sweet potato casserole for a couple bucks extra because we weren’t impressed with the sides that were included in the deal. Totally worth it. Lobster Mac was a generous portion with plenty of lobster meat, and the sweet potato casserole was the perfect sweet compliment to the salty lobster Mac. There was only one dessert option included in the deal(white chocolate cheesecake; not a fan of white chocolate) so I had the bread pudding while my friend had the apple crisp and we ended up splitting it. Bread pudding didn’t come with ice cream so I ordered it on the side, but beware– they charge you $ 3 for a tiny spoonful of it. Both desserts were excellent and HUGE. My friend and I both wanted to relive the whole meal after we finished. Didn’t want it to end :(overall a great spot for a special and intimate dinner.

Always an over the top experience. Hands down the best steak house outside of NYC. Great service and great food. The wine list is top notch. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert. Their bread pudding is my personal favorite.

Service was very good. Food was excellent! I had the ahi tuna as an appetizer, followed by a half-Caesar salad and a petite filet with spinach and lobster mac-n-cheese! Add a smooth house cabernet and you have a delightful dining experience! I highly recommend!

Awesome happy hour specials — good bang for your buck, especially when we are talking about the inflated prices at Ruth’s Chris. I believe all items are ~$ 7. I’ve been here a few times for happy hour and have never been disappointed. I’m a huge fan of the ahi tuna — I really like the ginger/cucumber salad that is served with it. My last time here I tried the crab BLT with zucchini fries — also very good. I’ve had the blueberry mojito, pomegranate martini, and moscow mule before — all pretty strong. Service at the bar fluctuates as it depends on who is tending.
