Spice grill is one of my favorite places when I get that Indian cuisine crave. I usually come for the lunch buffet, and it is one of the best in north jersey. Plenty of variety in the buffet. Generous servings of fresh-baked naan bread. The owner knows customer service. He once brought out a personal serving of sizzling chicken from the tandoori oven. Recommend to anyone searching for decent south asian cuisine at a great price.

Excellent food and service! Was there with my family and everyone loved the food. Well priced. Would’ve given 5 stars but look and feel of the place can be improved. Also, music playing in the background was dull and gloomy.

Spice Grill is the friendliest, most inviting Indian buffet… ever. And the food is THEBOMB. I go enough where they know who I am, it’s that good. The buffet features Indian favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala(bismati rice and fried rice are available at the beginning of the buffet), tandoori chicken(it’s so good!), the chili selection often changes between chili chicken, potatoes(my absolute favorite) and eggplant, an array of veggie dishes and Indian dessert. There is also authentic chai available to order. Best part? The friendly waiters bring each table naan. Soft, really warm, inviting naan that fills your stomach and your soul with happiness. My fiancé go here regularly and when I can’t find anyone to go with, I make a trip on my own. There is nothing better than being greeted by the friendly staff and incredible food. If going to the buffet doesn’t strike your fancy, there is a full menu and takeout is available. I have not yet gone for dinner, since it is so close to my job, but it’s not off the table. If you can go, do it! It’s a stones throw from 80 and 280 – so easy to get to! Don’t miss out!

Strip mall indian. Worth it. The name says it all. Vindillo was on point. Heat was exceptional. Flavor was tasteful. Not to mention there was a constant line while eating. Can’t go wrong here.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the customer service here was amazing and their food was amazing as well. I have tried a lot of different Indian places and I think their food was on par with some of the best that we’ve ever had. We ordered the Chicken Tiki Masala and the Chicken Curry. I will definitely be going back.

I had a great meal at the Spice Grill. The food was really good. The girls went out for a birthday dinner and both the service and the food was above what I expected. We had an assortment of appetizers samosas and a spicy cauliflower that was wonderful. The entrée choices were lamb curry, chicken tiki marsala and one of the less spicy pork dishes. The naan was perfect. We were not dissapointed. Recommend the restaurant. Hard to find good Indian food.

If considering Indian Food I think Spice Grill is a pretty good bet. The servers were really helpful in helping us select an appropriate meal. The Samosa appetizer wasn’t what I was expecting, I thought samosa were fried stuffed pastry puffs but we got something a little different which is to be expected as I’m not familiar with the cuisine. And I didn’t ask for a description of the item. We were seated at a two top next to an abandoned door which had a draft so that was disappointing. General flow and layout of restaurant isn’t great but everything else was nice so well done.

I love this place. It’s my go-to. It is so consistent, I’m always guaranteed a great tasting dish out of here. I have never once had a bad experience. Usually I have ordered take out, but I have eaten there a few times. They are so nice and willing to please. My only complaint is that, in the past, if I ordered 3 dinners for take out, I’d only get one container of rice. The rice comes with the meal. Now when I order I specify how many containers I want. That’s all. Everything else is wildly great.

First time yesterday to this restaurant and enjoyed it quite a bit! Bhel Puri– Nice appetizer, just spicy enough. tasted great, huge portion. Shared with others, still had enough to take home. Dahi Baingan– A vegetarian eggplant dish in a creamy sauce which I had for dinner. The eggplant is cubed with skin(in case you’re wondering). Usually the skin on eggplant bothers me. I forgot to ask about it, but it turned out SUPER tender and delicious. not bitter or stringy at all. I would so get this again! Flavorful, enough spice, not too salty. My dining companion had a chicken dish, which name escapes me at the moment, it came out on a grill plate, steamy and sizzling hot. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. Not overly spicy. Rice was fluffy and tasty. Garlic Naan is everything you’d want it to be. garlicky, hot, crispy, soft. So good. Mango Lassi — icy and deliciously refreshing. Wish it came in a bigger glass! Service: what can i say! The service was on point, quick, considerate and we were ASKEd if we were ready for dinner as we had our appetizer still on the table. How nice! I hate having my dinner shoved at me mid-appetizer. its unnerving! But at least here, they ask you! Can’t wait to go back!

Oh my… I’ve been here a few times and can frankly say it’s one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. I’ve frequented Tamarind in NYC along with other places and Spice Grill beats them in terms of taste and price! Their chicken tikka masala is on a whole other level… The spice the flavor… It’s the best chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had! The service is immaculate– and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is classy and clean. I’ve also had their buffet which is delicious and has an assortment of foods for a good price. Can’t wait to come back!

Yum! Love their mixed grill and samosa chatt! I’ve been here numerous times and I’m pretty sure we order the mixed grill every time — it has lamb, chicken, sausage cooked different ways served on a hot plate! I wouldn’t recommend this dish for take out, it’s still good but much better served fresh. The restaurant is relatively big compared to others in the same shopping center and the wait staff are all pretty attentive. I would’ve given it 5 stars if restaurant was in a better location. Either way, can’t wait to go back!

I was there for mothers day lunch buffet, we made our reservation early for 12 noon as soon as they open. we got stuck in the traffic and our party was late(party of 10) and for my surprise they kept our table reserved even after been half hour late(many thanks for that). lunch was good many option for veg and non veg lovers. We all got mango lassi and it was really good. it got crazy busy after just 15 min. we came and boy they work hard here they cleaned the dirty plates soon after we eat our food, water was filled right away. thanks to all the staff for doing great job. The only thing I thought I missed was heat in the food(again I can understand that it was a mother’s day lunch) and not every one can eat spicy food.

My favorite Indian food place to eat. Take out or eat in, either is good. Love the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Get the Chicken 65 appetizer if you like spicy dishes. Well worth it! The samosas are sometimes greasy but you can pat them down. I have to say, I haven’t had indian food as good as this in a long time. Love this place!

*Spice Grill assorted platter(the chicken and lamb kebabs were good but the chicken tasted much better, the meat was juicier and definitely more flavorful with the chicken kebab; the veggie pakora was good but the sweet potato was weird; I think the best veggie pakoras are usually potato and cauliflower) *tandoori chicken(the chicken was definitely on point; cooked perfect and nicely seasoned; I wish the bed of onions tasted better, at Bricklane Curry House their version had the best onions and they tasted pickled) *lamb curry(yes! I loved the mild curry sauce; it was creamy and not too salty, spices were not overpowering; the lamb on the other hand was ok, I think it was overcooked and a little tough) *lamb biryan(not bad; I’ve definitely had better, I wish the rice was more fragrant. I think Paki’s make the best biryani. no offense to anybody) *garlic naan(light and fluffy; not too oily and a good amount of freshly chopped garlic on top; it’s nothing spectacular but worth getting instead of eating just rice); *keema naan(this is naan filled with minced meat; it was alright, the meat didn’t really have much of a flavor, it was spread very thinly inside; nothing special and not worth getting) This restaurant is decent. Easy to get to off the highway and parking is plentiful. The service is pretty good, considering so many Indian restaurants have rather rude waiters. Food is of decent quality. I’ve had better, so it’s not a place I’d come running to or consider it any Indian go-to spot. They have a buffet at dinner time, but the food didn’t look too fresh so we just stuck with ordering directly off the menu. The buffet did have a decent selection of all the meats(lamb, chicken, goat) among other dishes. So if you want to try a lot, then just do the buffet. Overall, I liked Spice Grill but not sure if I’d return.

Food is delicious. Seating is not so crowded that one cannot walk from our table to the buffet. There is a large buffet selection. And it is not all sauce. Korma are delicious. Tandoori chicken was my favorite. The rice pudding takes great but it is very gluey w lots of starch. Bathroom is unisex. I generally get very turned off by that. The chairs feel sticky. Must be all that pudding.

My family was craving Indian in the Pine Brook area, and Spice Grill had some very good reviews. It did not disappoint! The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated(nothing particularly special or memorable, but nice). The service was fantastic. They were very attentive, brought us fresh Naan and cleared our used plates away quickly. Food-wise, we all went with the buffet, although it looked like lots of people in the restaurant were opting to order off of the menu. We enjoyed everything. It was your pretty standard fare, from the crisp and tasty Samosas, to the Chicken tikka masala, to the lamb palak. It was all very well seasoned. It had a bit of spice, so you know it is there, but not so much that you are sweating and can’t taste the food. I will definitely be back when looking for Indian in Parsippany.

One of the better Indian spots in the area. Located in the middle of a strip mall off Rt 46 in Parsippany. Fresh ingredients especially the veggies. Flavorful chicken, lamb and goat. Buffet offered on Sunday’s. Can get quite busy. Unlimited Naan which is unheard of. $ 16 for several dishes. Chicken Tikka is fantastic. Veggie Korma is delicious(not available at buffet). Goat is flavorful as per the wife. The sauces are so good, plenty of dipping going on. Service is top notch. Not what you would expect from an Indian spot. BYOB so grab a nice bottle of your fave wine. Party space available next door. ENJOY!
