Friendly staff and super fresh ingredients. A great ambiance for all ages. Good and service was quick and delicious. Would make the track to come here no matter where ever I am. Gonna be back… I love me some pizza!!!

Tonight was the third time I had ever visited 800 hundred degrees pizzeria. And I have to say it was my best experience yet! First time I came I got the Zucca and I absolutely loved the butternut squash and Canadian bacon combination! The following time I went I made my own and I have to say that I probably put too many ingredients on it. Which being the food collaborator that I am I usually tend to think that there’s no such thing as too many ingredients on one pizza. Nevertheless, I took a risk tonight and I went for simple. But that wasn’t without the incredible advice of Jessica. And let me just say that she runs that place! While I was still in line I was mentioning«the angry bee pizza» that sounded good. Someway, somehow she heard my question. And with her own ingenuity and intuition proceeded to provide a pondering foodie like myself with a description of the angry bee –a sweet yet spicy, simple yet decadent pie. She was right! The pizza was deliciously spicy yet mellowed out nicely with honey that had been drizzled all over it. To make things even better she offered my party and me with two free whopping Caesar salad’s on the house! Needless to say, my party of six all enjoyed some innovative and eclectic pizzas combined with an exceptional dining service experience and all for under $ 10 per person!

This place was a nice quiet dinner. They had a decent selection of pizza and salads, and they even had some gelato. There was a pretty good chili sauce for the pizza too. We got a zucca pizza with pesto sauce, and a gorgonzola salad. The pizza was good. I really liked the butternut squash, and the carmalized onions were delicious. The sauce was good, a pretty standard pesto. I liked the outer part of the crust. The dough had a good flavor. The rest of the crust was a bit thin. I know they are Italian style pizza and thin crust, but I thought it would have a bit more substance. Other than that minor complaint the pizza was good. The salad was really good in the beginning, but toward the end got sort of vinegar-y. The walnuts and cranberry and cheese blended together really well for the first three fourths. We actually tried to order a large but we’re given a small, and that turned out ok because I wouldn’t have enjoyed a whole large. The wine and beer we got were good too. You can’t be an Italian pizza join without some good Olé moretti! Nice place for a relatively quick pizza dinner if you want to get away from all the crowded places downtown.

This place was good, not amazing, but good. I enjoyed making my own pizza and I loved the original Neapolitan crust, thin and delicious but not too crispy. I also really enjoyed the unique toppings they offered to add to your pizza.(We got butternut squash and caramelized onions on ours). It makes this pizza place unique and I love unique restaurants! The only thing I didn’t like was the dressing on the gorgonzola salad. I am normally a fan of all salads but this one was just too vinegary. After a few bites, my lips actually started to burn from the vinegar and I couldn’t finish the salad, which is a first. Other than that I really like the toppings on the Gorgonzola salad: dried cranberries, walnuts and of course, gorgonzola cheese.

Pricey for the pizza you get. A lot of better alternatives in the market. Each topping is $ 1 which would be fine if they actually put some on the pizza as I do think they have some good quality toppings. For 1 $ I got 3 spinach, for $ 1 i got 4.5 pieces of salami… Not great when other brands charge nothing and put triple the amount. Pizza was soggy in the middle but the taste was good. Mozzarella and sauce were great but seems like just the base is worth it. Hope management improves on this as they will soon realize they are not the only option nor the best.

Horrible service. We walked in and were waiting to be seated. No one helped us – there were 6 people behind the counter and only two other customers in the restaurant. I grabbed a menu and seated myself. After we waited 10 min we heard them calling orders. Apparently you order at counter — no one had bothered to tell us that. They just stood around doing nothing. Our money went elsewhere

3.1 stars for 800. Because 800 Degrees has a similar concept as a lot of other pizza joints out there nowadays(ie Blaze, Pizza Studio), it’s hard not to compare. 800 Degrees is slightly pricier than other places($ 1 per extra item you put on your build-your-own pizza), especially if you’re like me and like to put a little bit of everything on your pizza. Granted though, the pizza is bigger in size/portion than the other places. Overall, I would say what 800 Degrees has going for them is the nice and grand ambience of the restaurant itself(fancy chandelier lights!) and the nice crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside crust. I also like how they have cups out for water and extra plates set out so that you can share the pizza. One pizza is definitely enough for two people!

You know this place is really nice. I fortunately got great customer service, me and my bf were helped out by 2 people actually. Pizza was ready really fast. Place is clean, has a lot of seating. Very luxiouros haha bathrooms are downstairs. Now about the pizza, it’s good, loved it! BUT I can get the same exact pizza waaaaaaaay cheaper at a pizza rev, blaze, pieology etc. that don’t charge for every topping especially not 6 – 7 bucks. Anyways came here because I’ve always wanted to try it and now that I have, its good but next time I think I’ll pass. No complaints about though my experience

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. However, I went this evening with a friend and service wasn’t «horrible», just incredibly awkward. We stood in line, the young lady behind the counter ignored us, but asked to take the order for the men in line after us. We got everything straightened, but it was still awkward. When we went to pay, I ordered two beers and a side of ranch. The cashier rolled her eyes at me and gave me two sides of ranch without lids. Food was wonderful and I’d go again … But hopefully the service improves.

The pizza I got was the Bianca as the base, which is olive oil, mozzarella cheese, and lots of ground garlic. I added prosciutto at the end for an extra $ 1 and it was so bomb. The crust is chewy which I enjoy, and the bottom has that charcoal-y charred taste. The only thing is it gets soggy really fast… The bathroom was gnarly downstairs…

So recently I’ve been having huge cravings for pizza! I was looking through Unilocal and see what other pizza places are open around here. At first I was hesitant to try this place because of the mixed reviews. Many have also mentioned that it’s very similar to Blaze and Pieology where you can customized your own pizza but at a higher price. Then I stumbled upon their Instagram page and saw that they have a «Pizza of the Day» deal on Monday-Friday from 11am-2am. Yup, the whole 11-inch Neapolitan pizza for $ 5! The only downside is that there are no substitutions allowed. So every day I would be on the lookout for the one I would like to try. Sunday came and my friend wanted to go out and check this place out so we just paid regular price for our pizza. My pizza with 4 add ons turned out to be around $ 12. Since they’re Neapolitan pizzas, they’re cooked at a very high temperature(hence their restaurant name) and were ready in under 5 minutes. The pizza came out really quick, it was ready for us by the time we got water and found a table to sit at. I can see why some people might not like it as much or don’t think it is worth it because it’s not unlimited toppings. I’m that person that normally throws everything onto my pizza but here each topping is a buck or two extra so I held back. That was a minus for me at first but after I took a bite of my pizza, I was able to appreciate the simplicity in the few ingredients. On top of that, I can taste the quality of their dough and my toppings are not over powering one another.

800 Degrees is the granddaddy of these pizza-in-one-minute places(Blaze, Pizza Rev and the others have since gotten in on the act), and the pizza is damn good. Individually sized, with a nice thin crust that won’t fall apart on you. Originality will cost you, though — this is the priciest of the fast-pizza-joints. Each topping adds more to your Trump-sized price. With one exception! Here’s my hot tip. Thinking of pizza for lunch? Check 800’s Instagram page(800degreespizza). There’s a new POD(pizza of the day) up there every morning and, if if suits you, that pizza is half price — usually $ 5 or less — absolutely the best deal in town. No substitutions though, but with most pizzas there you cannot go wrong. When it’s your turn to order, just say«pizza of the day» and let them do the rest. Added plus — they serve my favorite bottled water — Acqua Panna — in the glass bottle! Nightmare parking(90 minutes free) one block south of the restaurant, enter on Raymond or Green, in the«Schoolhouse» lot. Enjoy!

2.5 — 3 stars. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, but this is the closest location to me at 45 – 60 min away. Pizza is one of my favorite foods & usually, a place can’t go wrong with pizza, but there was nothing spectacular with this place as I’d hoped. It was OK. My local Blaze Pizza & Pieology are better than this for less money. And Round Table Pizza is much better tasting as well. I also thought there would be other food menu items in addition to pizza. They have a downstairs dining room and I’m sure it’s filled during dinner times, but on a Monday afternoon when I went, it was completely empty, chilly, dim, & a tad creepy feeling. Will I return? No.

The 800 Degrees Pizza joint is very similar, if not the same, as many other choose-your-own-topping pizza joints out there(Blaze, Pizza studio, etc). Unfortunately, 800 Degrees, in my opinion, is my least favorite one for several reasons. Firstly, it’s more expensive. Several other pizza joints I’ve tried has the whole«unlimited toppings» thing going on, while for 800 Degrees, you need to pay extra for each topping, and this can really add up for people like me who love all sorts of goodness on their pizza. I was only able to get a few toppings on my pizza without breaking the wallet and that makes me sad :(Secondly, the pizza crust was waaaayyy too thin… this not only doesn’t taste that great, but it also makes the pizza a lot more soggier with the mozzarella cheese. Overall the pizza here is OK, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back any time soon.

HMMMMMMM, this place is A-OK incase you don’t know what 3 stars means. This has been Unilocal Educational Moment by Alex. The pizza is good, not great. They have a nice blend of flavors on a lot of the pizzas on the menu. However I could easily eat two of these in order to get full enough to be put into a food coma. Which would set you back at least 20 dollars. They are most likely healthy because… well… not a lot of sauce, but that is because they are aritsan pizzas. yes aritsan… oh wait artisan. It was easy on the tongue like steve carell is easy on the eyes. As in… yeah this is something i could eat again, but it is no amazing america. Try it, but feel warned knowing that it ain’t the great place in the world. THEVERDICT: I am a big pizza fan(just like everybody else) but believe me this isn’t worth going out of your way for, but if you are two block away like I was it will make you happy. Pleasantly happy. In the name of…

Wow this place is disorganized and sloppy. Order took forever awhile longer than expected to place and make. I liked their space; the chandeliers were pretty. Got the giardino pizza and I did like it. While finding a place to sit, over half the tables were not cleaned up and had a lot of trash on it. Overall, ok but not sure if I would want to come back.

Went back today for the Instagram butternut pizza because it looked so good, told them about what happened last time and Rachel(I think was her name) really made me love that place! She was so kind and made my pizza to perfection :) Thanks Rachel! I’ll be back for sure.

Sometimes you find yourself hanging around Colorado because it’s just an awesome part of Old Pasadena where there is an abundance of different places all serving their own purposes to the people who come here. So pretty much we just came here because it was close to where we were enjoying our night and because kids love pizza and it would be an easy place for them to get their pizza on! The concept of the 800 is to get in the line if there is one and then tell them what speciality pizza you would like or do the ever so awesome create your own scrumptiousness as I usually tend to do because it’s just sooo much better that way! The pizza themselves are a good size to share with about 1 other person but if your hungry I’m sure you could have no problem eating the whole pie like I did on this particular night! The pizza was super flavorful from the pepperoni to the zesty sausage that added the little kick that made my pie super delicious and all around good! Wile the pizza toppings cheese and sauce were totally yummy the crust was a bit iffy in a sense that it was a bit soggy and undercooked in the middle of it making the pie a little hard to eat but overall it was still good even being the way it was. Had the dough been fully cooked this pie would have been outstanding and something that I honestly would get again. Overall the pizza was super good and I’d come back here again but next time I’d ask to have my pie cooked a bit longer as I feel that would end the soggy problem and create scrumptiousness!

Nothing beats their $ 5POTD on Mon-Fri. The POTD we got was the verde with roasted red peppers, caramelized onions and anchovies. It was delicious! One of the characteristics of Neapolitan pizza is that there is often more sauce than cheese leaving the middle of the pie a bit wet and soggy. I didn’t mind the sogginess and really enjoyed the extra flavors from the tip of each pizza slice. The doughy center complemented well with the chewy crust. And the combination of the toppings can’t be anymore perfect. There’s sweet, spicy, and the punch of salt from the anchovies.
