Super good pit turkey sandwich! Nachos grande are equally amazing. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is great!

I don’t even know where to start the food was so bad. We all got pulled pork, sandwiches, baked beans, and Mac n cheese. The smell was great walking in… there were a handful of people there waiting. There was some type of cooker behind the counter a smoker of some sort and they were loading it up with raw meat, no seasoning what so ever. I got home opened everything and I took one bite out of my sandwich and it was so disgusting… no flavor what so ever not even a pinch of salt or pepper! I doused my sandwich with both but to no avail it was impossible to put flavor on it. The beans were straight out of the can no seasonings just warmed up. The Mac n cheese was from the box… I’ve waisted $ 45 on something my family didn’t eat. I’ll never go back… ever!

Ordered large medium rare pit beef and got the small medium well. Not what I’ve had in the past. Even after questioning my server,(On the size not how overlooked it was) I was told it was right. Won’t waste my time or money there again.

I’ve had their fiood multiple times and I’ve never been disappointed. Only downside is everyone else agrees ssi there’s always a wait to pick up, but worth it. There’s possibly an addictive substance in the baked beans because my wife and I always get extra, one container isn’t enough!

I drove past this place a couple of times while running errands in the Dena. The food is pretty solid and the pricing is right. Be forewarned — there is no seating and the line was pretty deep when I got there. But even with a long wait and no place to eat, the food will keep them in business for a long time. I grabbed a pit beef sandwich and some fries(and a soda out of the machine, which was weird as it was a separate transaction). The XL Pit Beef was a hearty meal and the fries were clearly hand cut and delicious. Overall the food was very good BBQ and I eat a lot of BBQ. However, it would have been 5-stars, but the place is challenged in appearances, ventliation and upkeep. The smoker — inside the kitchen — is poorly ventilated and I had to drive home with the windows open. Ceiling tiles are falling in, and no one cares(because if they fix/replace them I am sure it will mean that they will only get filthy again from the smoke. And frankly buying soda from the machine is nonsense. They really need a simple cooler with doors on it so you can get a decent selection. Overall a good meal and I will be eating there again, but I will plan to take it home instead of eating it in the car.

Gotta say, My wife and I were so excited to try this place out. My gosh were we disappointed. After all the Unilocal reviews this place is terrible. We ordered pulled pork sandwich and full baby back rack. Specially mentioned, BBQ on the side. Young cook acknowledged. Drove home to nasty soggy frys and food sopping with BBQ sauce. We wanted to taste the pork it took you hours and hours to cook yet they decided to drench it in sauce. I’m not interested in your sauce. Could care less. Baby backs were the thinnest, meatless racks I’ve ever had. I can buy meatier racks from SAMs club and cook them myself. Food was cold. They don’t remove the paper silver skin from the backside of the ribs. So disappointed ! I’m not even an 8 minute drive away ! Mac and cheese tasted like it was from a box. Overall tasteless. Winner of the MD gazette, pssssh yea right. Think again

Thanks, Beefalo Bob’s. Now I’m on a barbecue kick. I savored every bite of your pit beef sandwich with delicious and creamy tiger sauce on top. The price was right, and the sides flavorful as well, and while you’re a bit stand-offish in the customer service department, I keep coming back. More-so, I have found myself attempting to recreate something similar to the smokey meat heaven that you give me when I’m at home in between visits.

If this place was dine-in, it would be an epic fail due to poor ventilation. But, as a carry out BBQ stand housed in a strip mall, it is a-ok. I had the pit beef which was a bit difficult to bite all the way through but very tasty with the spicy BBQ sauce. Friendly service too.

Beautiful Pit Beef and ham! We had the slider trio, ribs, and then a whole bunch of sides since we’re thinking about catering. I would rate the sides as 3 stars but the sliders and ribs as strong 4 stars.

We order from Beefalo Bob’s at least once a month. It’s definitely one of my very FAVORITE places in Glen Burnie/Pasadena Please remember when going into this place that it’s a carryout and it’s a full of pit smokers for the the meats, It’s my favorite little(what I deem Dive Carryout) that is not derogatory in anyway I love small places that are quaint and have great food… Which leads me to the food, I so love their food, especially the pit beef, turkey and ham, I like their salads the potato salad is tasty(my opinion of course), though I am very, very picky about my crab soup — their’s is very watery and way too spicy for everyone’s taste. The baked beans at times can be dry if left too long in the warmer, but if you get them when they are fresh then you have yourself some awesome baked beans. And the fries are always fried fresh, you have three sizes to choose from and they are always great… Just a word to the wise, you will don’t be disappointed with the size of the sandwiches… my mother LOVES the bar-be-que chicken sandwich… and the bar-be-que pork is just as wonderful… All the employees are very kind and friendly, which makes a difference in first impressions. All in all I say go and I guarantee that you will return !!!

Like most places that serve barbecue, there seems to be a strong variety of opinions about Beefalo Bob’s. Never having a pit beef sandwich before, I had always eyed Beefalo Bob’s when visiting my friend in the Pasadena area. His work had him a bit delayed last night, so I had the chance to try it out. When I caught up with him at a local bar later that evening and mentioned I tried this for the first time and asked him his opinion, he quickly said«they suck», then backtracked and asked what location. He quantified by saying the take-out location(reviewed here) is «decent» but avoid the restaurant on Ft. Smallwood road. That’s the opinion of a local, but this is my review, right? And my verdict, never having pit beef before, is a thumbs up. The location here is a straight-up hole-in-the-wall take-out spot. There’s not even a place to sit an eat. And that’s OK, but it is a bit dingy inside. The service behind the counter was courteous and helpful, asking multiple times if I needed extra sauces. I ordered the large pit beef and she asked me how I wanted it cooked … didn’t know that was an option, so I went with med rare, with lettuce, tomato, and tiger sauce — a Baltimore pit beef staple that is a mayo/horseradish mix — with an extra side of tiger sauce. For medium rare, there wasn’t much pink in the beef — a disappointment — but there was a nice juiciness and subtle and gentle smoke flavor.(I hate it when the smokiness overpowers the meat) The condiments blended nicely, and the tiger sauce does a great job of accentuating the beef. The bun was rather pedestrian, but the generous portion of well-cooked beef was clearly the star. It wasn’t a sandwich that initially blew me away, but later in the night I kept thinking about it and craving the slightly smoky flavor of the meat. And when I crave something after just eating it, that’s my sign that I have a winner. They have selections of other smoked/BBQ meats and I’d like to try others, but my instinct is that the pit beef is the king at Beefalo Bob’s. I will be back.

We used Beefalo Bob’s for a company picnic, which we have had now for several years. They were fantastic! We have a small group and they are one of the few BBQ companies that will cater to less than 100. They arrived on time, set up and were ready to go as scheduled. They were the best group that we have used yet. Everyone commented on the quality of the food. We had pit beef, ham, turkey, hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers. They serve you right from the pit and you can select how you want your meat cooked. The sides were also excellent. Corn steamed right at the picnic. Great potato salad and beans, too. The servers were very personable and went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. I would highly recommend Beefalo Bob’s.

Beefalo Bob’s has been smoking, and serving up BBQ for many years. From Mountain road, you can see the smoker at work, and smell it, instantly luring you in for food. Recently had some take out from here, the«restaurant» was fair in size, but mainly a to-go place, with limited seating. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and some fries. The cost of the sandwich was less than $ 7, and was pretty large, the fries were less than $ 3 and were pretty packed in there; great value. As for the taste, it was a little too smothered in sauce, and ended up making the bun disgusting in texture. There was really limited smoke taste, and the sauce was passable for store-bought brand, and not a house sauce. The fries were okay, I ate about half of them before I lost interest in the meal. They were referred to as «Ocean City Fries,» but came up short on that claim. For the money, yes this place is great and worth every cent; as for the food however it’s passable and not the best in the area, Mission BBQ does a better job around the same price and is less than 2 miles away from here. 3 stars.

Glad I took detour to try this place out. Thin as can be beef piled high on great roll. Servers recommended BBQ sauce and horseradish. Perfect! Great sandwich overall for the price. Store this in your GPS!
