Blue Moon Spa

This spa is really relaxing and have a great ambiance. Their massage room were really spacious. Unlike some massage shop their room were so freaking small. I love their massages. For someone who massage every week. I really need professional massage that ease my pain and not just the touch you and flip you around kind. If you know what i mean. I think what really matters is you get a really good massage. They also provide waxing services! I love this place. Highly recommended!

I went here to get body massage for 60 minutes. Their massage was excellent. I would say the best massage in Pasadena area. The customer service is also very good. The ladies are very nice. Definitely i would come back again next time. And the price is not expensive. They also give free shower. The place is very clean and quiet

Excellent service. I am a long term customer here. The owner is a very nice lady. The environment is super calm and relax. I always get a full massage. Unlike the other few places I have tried, the pressure on my body is just right. Not too hard not too soft. The mango flavor candy they give out to customer is also very tasty hehe. I’ve had pain in my back for a few years. The owner Samantha introduced me a supplement product called bromelain. My pain has gone. Great service !

My visit was So problematic!
First off I waited for an attendant forever. When she finally arrived the obviously empty establishment (the parking lot gave me a clue) she placed me in a room on the side of the business that shares a paper thin wall with a very lively karate studio… It was poppin in the karate studio that day.
Then there were 4 that’s right count them four! Knocks on the door from the other employee.
To top it all off (you know I couldn’t leave y’all without a cherry) there were kids running and laughing up an down the hall way of the establishment.
My experience was not as relaxing as I would have hoped.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place deserves it! I made an appointment at 8 pm and I was helped right away upon my arrival. the lady that was my masseuse was coco and I must say she’s great! Those hands are incredible. I had a full body massage for an hour and I’m very satisfied! Imma go back for couples massage in couple weeks :)

What a fantastic place! I’ve been getting massages for years and Blue Moon Spa is a great place. Very affordable, great service. I recommend Kasey, she studied Chinese medicine and acupuncture and her massage technique is amazing. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone there is excellent as well. Call ahead of time to make sure somone is free, but they also welcome walk ins.

I’m frequently in the area and I noticed this shop when it opened late last year (2013). I found their page here on Unilocal but noticed there were not any reviews. So I decided to make an appointment and I’m glad I did.
Blue Moon does foot and body massage. The spa or shop is brand new and very clean if a little spartan. There are massage chairs in a curtained off semi public area for foot massage and 3 or 4 rooms for body massage. The rooms have those parallel bars over the massage tables for back walking. There is also a bathroom with an enormous shower (looks wheelchair accessible). The bathroom was very clean.
When I arrived I was met by the manager (I didn’t get her name) who turned out to be my masseuse. There is not a regular receptionist since each technician works the front counter in turn. The manager showed me to my room and asked if I wanted to use the shower before or after my massage. I accepted the offer since it was late in the day and very hot outside. There are clean robes in the room and a pair of flip flops (I used my own). The shower was nice and spotless with; soap, shampoo, conditioner and a stack of fresh towels.
After showering I returned to the room and waited just a few minutes before the manager knocked on the door. I was ready and covered with the provided sheet when she came in. For the first few minutes she asked if I had any problems or areas that needed attention. I do have a shoulder problem and of course I was in general need since I had not had a full body massage in some time. She also asked if I wanted hard or medium pressure and I told her I always prefer a hard back massage. The manager mentioned she recently learned a new back walking technique using oil. I’ve had back walking before at other parlors and since she is very small I agreed to try it. I have to say that this oil back walking was amazing. The entire hour was fantastic and was over before I knew it, she really knows what she is doing.
There are always 3 girls working. I got the full rundown from the manager and what services they offer; foot, body and combo massage, 30, 60 and 90 minute appointments, waxing, men, woman and couples, open all week, 10:00am to 10:00pm. She seems very customer service oriented and she speaks very good English a big plus for me. I’m kicking myself for not remembering her name, someone as good as her deserves the credit.
I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Moon Spa, but call ahead apparently they do get busy. My 1hour body massage was $ 45.00 and I left a $ 20.00 tip. A little more that I would usually give for an hour session but a great massage and excellent service count a lot with me. I hope to be able to come back real soon.
