EVERYTIME I have dared to come here I regret doing it.
If you are on your lunch and in a hurry DO NOT COME HERE. they are slower than molasses. The staff is extremely rude, and take their sweet time to give you change back. you have been warned DO NOT go to this Carl’s Jr.

I went through the drive-​thru on a Friday evening and the service was pretty quick even with a couple cars ahead of me. The burgers are tasty at are a great value at 2 for $ 6 and chicken sandwiches are $ 1.49. The crisscut fries are a little pricey though for how few of them you get.

Unless you have a coupon or buying one of their national promos (ex.2 for $ 5.55), you’re going to get ripped off here. Their prices are considerably higher than other Carl’s Jr. I didn’t really mind as much since they were convenient to where I live but I just had an experience today that leads me to believe they are overcharging on top of their already high prices. I ordered a bacon and egg breakfast burrito, which on the drive-​thru was $ 4.29. Not the combo, just the burrito for $ 4.29. The guy says the total is $ 5.44. I said that doesn’t sound right because it says $ 4.29 out here so with tax it should be under $ 5. He said «oh, the price is wrong out there». So I decided NOT to get the burrito and never eat there again. The bill always does seem to come out high whenever I went there but I never really paid attention so maybe they were jacking me for years.

There are Carl’s and then there are Carl’s.
Since being introduced to the fast food eatery in Long Beach of 1973, I’ve seen my share.
However, this location here in east Pasadena is the very best.
I ordered a Star Burger and it was just as scrumptious as that very first bite in ’73.
Great fast food, great people, great City.

They’re customer service is awesome! I pull up to the drive through, say my name, and they ask me if I want the usual. This just happened randomly one day. Good job guys! Keep it up!

The staff is friendly and the food is yummy. I recommend the breakfast burger. It fills me up through lunch so I just snack until dinner.
They’ve gotten my order wrong a couple of times, which is why I’m only giving them 4 as opposed to 5 stars. I really like the staff and the place is clean.

Carl’s Jr. Is the best burger place and the most friendly, especially the one over here in Halstead Pasadena!!! Friendly place, staff and customers, especially to the wheelchair bound customers. Highly recommended!!! :-) :-) :-) :-)
This place is more than five stars!!!

Fantastic! I was hungry and had a coupon so I stopped here on my way home. The place is not kept very clean and within a minute a man who looks homeless walked in just to ask for water. Two teenage boys were next to me and they were talking toooo much! But other than that? Me so happy with my delicious burger. Pssst. hey Carl, you need to replace some of your chairs.

Two stars because the employees are very nice, but this is absolutely the worst Carl’s Jr. have ever been to. If this was my first experience with the Carl’s Jr. I would never go back… having grown up eating it I will never go back to THIS location. Temperature of the food was cold and the zucchini was so greasy and soft it seems like it was only half cooked, even the soda was flat– boo Carl’s Jr. boo!

This is the worst Carl’s Jr location ever the seating area is dirty tables are dirty doesn’t look like the wipe them and the food comes out super greasy like all over the wrapping paper and the guys restroom is discus sting it’s 100% dirty, sink it’s covered of dirt and the walls are black because no one cleans them, there’s no way I will use that nasty restroom, I’m never coming back to this location ever is awful

By far the worst Carls Jr I have ever been too what the hell are the employes doing there? First of all there wasn’t any ice for the soda pop even though some guy had previously complained about it five minutes before on top of that I said no onions on my burger simple instructions they couldn’t do that correctly, I ordered my order to go because the tables were filthy, when I looked inside my bag I noticed I had no napkins… No biggie I’ll get some from the napkins canister on the tables… There WASNT ANY DAM NAPKINS! Worst part is that it was incredibly hot today and they can’t even turn up the AC it just wasn’t me because as some other client was walking out he shouted «turn up the dam AC in here» by far the worst Carls I’ve ever been too Seriously what the hell do the employes do there the whole day terrible I don’t think I ever want to go back to a Carls JR again.

Food is good but I’m pretty sure their drive thru employees are all on bath salts. Not rude or bad, just weird. Like I thought they might bite my hand when I handed them my money.

I actually like Carls Jr. But Soe asshole here stole my debit info and decided to but themselves lunch a FEW TIMES!!! Only came here once and had 8 charges on my account within two days all for odd ass amounts too! In total about 35 $ was taken for food I wish I recieved! Lol Don’t use you debit or credit card here! You may be paying for your cashiers lunch as well! Next time cash. ONLY

So far I haven’t been very impressed with this place unfortunately. The only reason we started going was for the supposed dedicated fryer. Unfortunately, I still ended up with a fried zucchini or something that ended having all ill effect on me. :/
The customer service is kinda hit and miss.
But worst to me was the condition of the bathroom! Ick! The smell reminded me of the smell of rotten meat or trash on a hot day. They also had a tiny overflowing trash can and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile.
Being gluten free I don’t have many options when I eat out, so I may give it another try (especially since they do have a dedicated fryer) and hope for a drastic change.

For a fast food joint, the customer service is actually outstanding here! Very nice and they great you as you walk in… though a lot of restaurants do that already, but while taking my order the staff is actually very kind.
The food is your standard fast food, Carls Jr. restaurant, nothing different that any other ones out there. The new guacamole turkey burger is pretty good too, my favorite.

They’ve introduced a new turkey burger to the masses. I approve of this.

It’s a fast food joint. With that said, I like their Western Cheese Burger.

This rating is only for the one thing I had. Its a fast food place, they do what they do… anyways…
did you know that bliss can be sucked from a straw? hands down the best milkshake I have EVER had… Banana Chocolate Chip! OK, not for everyone. But for those freaks like me who prefer artificial banana flavor to real banana, this is a gift from the gods!

A little bit of fast food history, take notes there will be a test. Carl Karcher the founder of Carl’s Jr. first restaurant was a hot dog cart and for years hot dogs were on the menu. I don’t know when they took them off the menu, but there back.
Ordered two chili cheese. They use Farmer John dogs the chili has a little spice.
Glad to see Carl’s has found their past.

I realize that Carl’s Jr. is geared towards carnivores.
I get that.
But how hard is it to at LEAST put the meat from a hamburger on the side?
