Everything here is amazing. Hand cut fries to order, chilie done the way its supposed too. Dont get me wrong, The Original Tommy’s is an LA staple. But here, at chinitos chinaloa, its my spot for chillie! Hands down one the best in LA. It’s spicy and not heavy. It really is quite delicious. The super nachos are also bomb(I currently ordered the super nachos with carbe asada and al pastor meat). Just come and check it out for yourself. One chinito getting down in this food truck. Mad respect. Expect to wait, but well worth it. Credit should be given when deserved, and very well deserved here. Check out my other reviews so you see I don’t easily give so much attention to detail for places this amazing

I’ve had this truck three times within a 1 week period. First day I had the super nachos, as he said the asada was out. Everything was just ok, I would have preferred if the potatos were peeled. For the price of 6 dollars I’m don’t mind. Second day I caught this truck in the morning and yes they finally had asada. I had the asada burrito, the meat was moist and flavorful. Overall pretty good, the sign said theres pico de gallo in there I saw none of it. On the 3rd day asada is out again, fine. I had the al pastor, again wheres the pico de gallo. I thought it was ok but not as good as the asada. Cook more asada, please! Overall this truck gets a mEh!

I have mixed reviews about this truck. I have two separate experiences to report. This food truck came to our business building on both Friday(2−12−16) & Monday(2−15−16). On Friday, though the truck was poorly staffed(only one man)-causing extreme wait times, I was one of the lucky ones to taste a glorious blend of Carne Asada, rice, beans, and other condiments in my Asada Burrito. This was enough for me to ignore the long wait time and plan another trip for Monday. On Monday, it was a different story. This time, there were two people working the truck(a cashier and a cook), and I was the only one there. Unfortunately, this had no bearing in the wait time. It should not take 30 minutes to get a burrito made. I was also disappointed that my order was wrong(on both days). I said no onions several times, but sure enough, there were onions all over my burrito. To top it off. The burrito was not as delicious as the 1st time. The meat was chewy and not seasoned well-alittle too gamie. Positives: Great tasting food-sometimes Very friendly staff Very reasonable pricing Negatives: Very unorganized which can lead to long wait time, no change when paying, drinks not ice cold and orders being made wrong. Food taste is not consistent. This truck is a potential 5 star if they only take their business more seriously by covering the basics first(staffing, plenty of change, good quality ingredients). Heck, they can even raise their prices if they can execute.

First disvovered this food truck about 2 months ago on Huntington Ave and Alhambra Rd. I was extremely hungry and was driving out El Sereno and nothing appealed to me, Not even the other taco trucks & then I saw Chiniito Chinaloa. I decided to give them a try. The menu is Mexican American not your typical Mexican food but sooooo delicious. I only come here for one thing and that’s their Carne Asada Fries Nachos! The fries are freshly cut on the spot, the carne asada is tender and flavorful add in cheese, onion, cilantro, homemade green salsa(it’s awesome), and sour cream to create a delicious goodness in your mouth! Alberto’s doesn’t have squat on these carne asada nacho fries. They’re menu is unique and so worth hunting them down. It’s hit or miss with them. Usually they’re in Pasadena but occasionally they’re in South Pasadena by the 99 Cent Store and Charlies Trio. They have other great food like bacon wrapped hot dogs, chili cheese fries, burgers, burritos, & of course tacos. The owner is super nice and wants his customers to be happy with his food. If you’re in the neighborhood you must try! You won’t be disappointed.

Went there today and ordered the chicken sandwich, overall the sandwich was good. But I ordered it with no mayo(I’m allergic) and it had mayo I had to throw the bun away once I got home, secondly I paid extra for avocado and I didn’t get what I paid for, and not to be a stickler but my my soda was not cold, lastly my girl(she told me to say … The love of my life) said the fries were a lil soggy. But I like them… Would I go back. … Overall I will give him another shot…

Awesome chicken tacos. I’ve also tried the chicken breast sandwich combo for 9 $ with fries and a drink. Super good

I got the chicken sandwich with fries. Chicken lacked seasoning, it was loaded with onions which I could have done without. The fries where horrible, cooked in old oil, i was expecting steak cut fries. The guy who works there was very friendly and I kinda feel bad for leaving such a horrible review but I have to be honest. I might try something else there just to give them a second chance.

Custom made, fresh ingredients in good portions for all the MexAmerican favorites. Chicken sandwich is huge using whole chicken breast.

Got the chicken burrito — it was okay. size was massive. chicken was marinated and seasoned well. I was disappointed the name had me misled thinking they had some sort of Asian-fusion thing goin on with the food. Beans, rice and green salsa worked out(green sauce was mild). Price was good.
