Daily Scoop

We love the daily scoop! We go here about 2 – 3 times a month. The owner is the nicest man and always give free samples of his awesome creations! He’s a dessert genius. If you follow them on Facebook you can see the flavored of the day and even influence what will be I the menu the next day.

We went around 6:00 on a Saturday night. Me and my husband got ice cream scoops in a waffle bowl. It was very delicious and we enjoyed it. The customer service was good, I had no complaints but it also did not wow me.

I don’t… even… know… where to… begin. I was out one day with the family on a lazy day. We didn’t have much to do, and just really didn’t want to be sitting at home. So we went out for lunch, and strolled the mall. After getting a few things at the mall we still weren’t ready to call it a day. I suggested that we check out a shoe store that I had Unilocal’d, but that didn’t end as I hoped. So with no options left we were just about to call it a day, when my lady looked over and whispered… iccccee creeeam?
From our location in Glen Burnie we Unilocaled ice cream and found The Daily Scoop, which had a glowing 5 star rating. Since we were only a few miles out of the we chose to check it out, and now my whole family are huge fans. The lady took our orders, but the best part was she asked my youngest daughter what she wanted. to to which she replied strawberry. The lady the asks if she wants that with sprinkles in a cup with a smiley face. i’m thinking okay that cup will have a smiley face, but no she made a smiley face with candy and sprinkles, and it blew my daughter away.
The ice cream was really good. They had a bunch of flavors, that they change up daily I believe, but if you like their facebook page they post the flavors on there. The lady who helped us was very friendly. All of the treasts that they had displayed looked ridiculous. We actually ended up getting two cannoli’s to go.
A small shop, but very clean and organized, with a real friendly vibe. Coming here really made my kids day, and there smiles are priceless. Finding places like this are exactly the reason why I got on Unilocal.Thanks a lot Daily Scoop, you guys are the best hands down!

Always a great experience here! They have a great variety, and make every visit feel special. What’s really cool is if you follow them on Facebook, you can influence the flavors they have available.

I went to The Daily Scoop today and I got a ice-​cream cake for my Daughters birthday, the Chocolate tasted really good. The «cake» was actually custard. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone. The only thing was that the milkshake I got wasn’t thick, but tasted awesome.

Hey I’m checking back in with the daily scoop this time it’s a little colder and a lot less people and a lot less lines this is a great time to go in and check out their ice cream’s that they have when he gets colder people don’t want ice cream but in this case I’ll make an exception. Today I have a bottle because milkshake with extra nuts my wife had cookies and cream. Both servers of us who were delicious and served correctly.
The last time I was here it was over 80° and it was packed but now it’s Sunday night about 730 and the ravens just lost and there was plenty of room to move her to see what I want it as a tasty treat to heal my Raven wounds.
All in all this is one of my favorite places to eat ice cream I seldom get a chance to get down here because I live in the city and there’s no bus transportation to this location but when I can get down here I thoroughly enjoy my just desserts.

BEST ICE CREAM EVER! Every time I go to Pasadena, I MUST get daily scoop! The owner always makes you feel welcome and so does the staff! There are so many flavors to choose from and it changes daily! If you are in Pasadena or even around the area, you gotta give daily scoop a try! You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely wonderful! Visiting from Texas and tried their pumpkin. praline and cream flavor. Unusual and the best treat I’ve had since we arrived. Too bad I found this place the next to last day here,

Hands down, the best place to get ice cream in the greater Annapolis area. They have traditional flavors, as well as some unique ones. I have yet to try one I didn’t like. They also sell a variety of ice cream treats such as sundaes, floats, and milkshakes. They’ve recently expanded their selection to include Italian ices that are authentic, Brooklyn style. I have never had one of their cakes or pies, but would love to try. The owner and head ice cream maker is a super nice guy who always comes out to say hello to his patrons. The employees are friendly, polite, and efficient. It’s a little out of the way for me, but having ice cream is a treat for me, and well worth the drive.

Great ice cream, very friendly staff. Would go back! Loved their PB ripple ice cream and the chocolate chocolate ice cream.

How can you go wrong with homemade ice cream? They even have bacon ice cream from time to time. 5 stars just for that. Plus, you can tell the owner derives great pleasure in his craft.

We went looking for a new Ice Cream shop… and we found it!!! So many flavors to choose from! Samples were plentiful and really showcased the ice cream!!!

Let me tell you this, daily scoop is worth a 20 minute drive. Not only is the ice cream fresh, and delicious, but the people working there are extremely welcoming. My dad is known for his jokes and the owner (Mr. Ice Cream) joked back. My mom and I used to come here about a year ago but stopped due to work and school but I really wanted to come back and show my dad just how amazing this place really is.
There’s this kid that works there who is just as sweet as the owner. He was helpful and extremely funny. My dad didn’t really know what he wanted so he asked him what he usually liked and gave him flavor to try based on what my dad told him. He eventually went with a strawberry shake and I went with a scoop cookies and cream with hot fudge. It was the best ice cream I’ve EVER had. Like ever. You better make sure to keep your cookies and cream in stock, mr. Ice cream because I’ll be coming back.

The absolute best ice cream place I’ve been to! And I have lived all over the U.S. and overseas. The owner («Mr. Ice Cream «) was fabulous to talk to and they make their own ice cream! I can’t stop talking about how great their ice cream is!

Always creative and yummy flavors of ice cream. I think they can make any flavor combo taste good! Quick and nice service even a peak busy time.

What a wonderful find. Thanks fellow Unilocalers for highlighting this establishment. Wonderful fresh made ice cream and reasonable prices. It’s buried in a strip shopping center, but don’t be afraid. I’ll be back, I wish I lived closer.

If you don’t like the Daily Scoop, you’re wrong. You can’t beat their selection of homemade ice creams; and they are equipped to provide almost any type of sundae you could ever think of.
As college students (10 yrs ago), my wife and I worked at the Friendly’s Ice Cream Shoppe down the street. We would get off and forego our employee discount to go to the newly opened Daily Scoop and pay full price. It was that good… and it still is.

We were in the area so we tried it out based on a recommendation. It was good but there is limited seating and no tables. If I lived closer I would probably frequent it because it seems down to earth and local — but it was just good. Nothing extravagant here. Just good local business. It was pricey.

We just moved to the area, so it’s great to have that staple local ice cream shop. the girls working are always friendly and never annoyed by my daughter wanting to sample five thousand flavors before choosing vanilla. Good value, much cheaper than a ritas or dairy queen.

Recently had my daughters birthday cake made here, and it was AMAZING. She requested a lego cake. And boy did they deliver. Everyone was asking where we got it and we’re very impressed by it.
Since starting pre-​k we have made an arangment with our daughter that if she is very good in school she gets to go to the Daily Scoop on Fridays. She is always excited to see Mr Michael, he’s a very kind man and makes her feel very important when she comes in. She likes to tell everyone that she knows Mr Michael and he makes allllll the ice cream. He’s a big deal. And she’s his friend. That of course makes her a big deal. Lol. Pretty cool. This is a wonderful place with wonderful people and awesome treats! Wish I could give more stars, because they deserve it
