Diann Wingert, LCSW BCD

I have known Diann for several years as a colleague and as a friend. I am also a psychotherapist in the Pasadena area and have referred to Diann on several occasions. Additionally, I am apart of a consultation group with Diann, which has given me the opportunity to really see how she works with clients. She has shown her vast knowledge of therapeutic work and ability to conceptualize cases in clinically sound ways. She always displays good ethical judgement and holds the client’s best interest at heart. The people I have referred to Diann have also been very grateful in working with her. Diann works especially well with biofeedback and issues with anxiety. I would refer to her any day!

Had my free consultation with her and she said that I «wasn’t a good fit» for her Biofeedback services after I told her that I’m on Social Security. Her tone completely changed and she said that most of these patients can’t «afford» her services. Dumbass assumed I don’t have cash to pay. My family has plenty of money to pay cash for any therapist I want. Oh, and I have severe PTSD and evidently she says she treats it with biofeedback. She can’t help me treat my flight, fight, freeze or fawn responses, and she says she has experience with Complex PTSD. I think she’s full of sh*t. How can I not be a good fit? Evidently she assumes my financial sources aren’t big enough to fill her greedy pockets. Screw her! I highly suggest you find someone else that has a less assuming attitude and isn’t so greedy or judgmental!!!
