Sally at Evergreen Physical Therapy helped me get my life back. As background, a few months ago I began experiencing daily dizziness and the inability for my left ear to pressurize normally. As valedictorian from the Google school of medicine I diagnosed myself with TMJ(jaw) dysfunction which seemed a plausible explanation for my symptoms. I couldn’t get relief, so I saw my primary care physician who suspected eustachian tube dysfunction(often caused by TMJD) but said I didn’t have TMJD. After seeing two area TMJD specialists who agreed with my doctor my feeling of desperation worsened; try being perpetually dizzy for a few months and watch your will to live dwindle as no doctor or surgeon can find a solution. After returning to my doctor he recommended I see Sally at Evergreen PT. I’d never had physical therapy before and I tend to be skeptical of any health solutions that don’t involve a scalpel or FDA double-blind placebo-controlled pharmaceuticals, but within minutes of meeting Sally I began to feel hopeful as she described various muscle issues that could be causing my ailment and explained them to me with anatomical diagrams. Sally is an immensely compassionate, experienced, and professional physical therapist and I found myself so comfortable in her presence that I began to cry as I described my ailment. After 4 weekly visits and adhering to her prescribed regimen of stretching exercises I finally had relief and could return to life as normal. Sally was able to get me relief where multiple doctors couldn’t and I am very grateful!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 South Pasadena, CA
I have suffered from headaches, TMJ and excruciating neck pain for years; Xrays have indicated severe arthritis and damage in my neck from a childhood accident. I have consulted with numerous doctors, physical therapists and alternative healers including acupuncture to try to manage my pain, but had not had much success; facet joint injections were not ultimately successful, I had nerves burned out to no avail, and was considering neck surgery as a last resort. Then my dentist(the fabulous Kent Wilson, South Pasadena) recommended Sally Howard, a physical therapist at Evergreen PT in Pasadena, who specializes in neck and TMJ pain. In 5 visits my pain has been reduced by half, and I see the light at the end of the tunnel. My jaw was dislocating many times per day when I first saw her… in a month that problem has completely disappeared. I have been ASTOUNDED at the level of my improvement. In twenty years of treatment for these symptoms, I have never met a Physical Therapist, or other specialist, who offers exactly what Sally does. She is truly an upper body«muscle whisperer», who heals by coaxing and stretching muscles like nobody else. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
