This place! I called for a 7:30 appt, the lady who answered tells me ok but that I could come earlier. I tell her I’ll try.
I show up at 6:45. They accept me, puts me in a room, gets me to undress. I lie down ready to get my massage, only for another lady to tell me to get dress because they made an error and a couple booked for a 6:30 couples massage. Mind you the couple wasn’t there yet and she asks me to come back at 7:30!
Wth? Seriously? I was a bit flabbergasted. That is totally unprofessional. Totally bummed because I just moved into the complex next door & was hoping this would be a good spot so I could go regularly. But um… hell no now.

Interior is clean and pleasant. The massage was below average. The Thai massage part was OK but after that, the masseuse just pressed around on me a little here, a little there. Like she had watched a DVD about massaging once or something. Not worth it.

All the masseuse are wonderful!!! They really know how to get all the knots out with the right amount of pressure. I just came the place on Wednesday and I already feel so much better. So relaxed and ready to go to bed LOL. Thank you «Kai» !!! They have several masseurs, but this was my first time with her and she’s awesome !!!
The place is clean and warm like home. All staffs are professional and friendly. I’ll definitely be back

The interior is clean and pleasant. My massage was average. The payment practice and language barrier were negatives.
I asked for the combination type (advertised as Thai, deep tissue and Swedish) and was disappointed how much of it was Swedish style. Additionally, the massage was uneven — meaning what was done on one side was not always replicated on the other, and there were times where she applied too much pressure upon my spine which felt uncomfortable (and maybe unsafe?)
I dislike paying for salon services before they’re performed, but that is the practice here. I thought it was very odd that my masseuse took my credit card out of the building to charge it, bringing back a receipt to sign from the neighboring restaurant. Huh? Perhaps the Internet was down or something legit, but I thought it was a bit shady and she was unable to offer me assurance given the language barrier.

Tried them today upon a friend’s recommendation and they absolutely did not disappoint! The place itself is clean from the reception to the room and set to a relaxing ambiance. Wendy, my assigned masseuse is thorough with her work and concentrated on those troublesome knots. I also like how she explains the causes and recommended treatments that can be done.
I’ve been to different spas in Pasadena and I can safely say Energy Spa is now my go to spot!

I’ve been here a time with Gi Gi and she is fantastic. She’s very personable, makes you feel very relaxed at ease, and most importantly she a great masseuse!!! She doesn’t just focus on giving you a relaxing experience, but also focuses on your stress point to relieve chronic tensions. If you have any specific needs, she is very accommodating!!! Great massage, great service, great staff, i will not go anywhere eles :)

My very first time visit to energy spa. Although the place it self was very nice and clean. I ‘m happy to say that I still really like this place !!! The receptionist is incredibly upbeat and supper friendly
I made an appointment for 90 minute combination massage over the phone, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. There is a lot of parking in the building. My therapist was Wendy she was so great !!! The message went from my upper back to lower back to legs, to arms, and finally my head and neck. The amount of pressure she provided was good and perfect .
I would definitely come back and wouldn’t have change a thing!!! Very welcoming and relaxed environment !!!

We had a great couple massage. We got discounts through groupon, so we got a sweet deal instead of $ 55 it was $ 35 for an hour. I loved the warm oil and the warm towel. They didn’t speak too much English but we could communicate after all. Feel totally relaxed !

I get weekly massages due to using my back all the time at work. I tried this massage spa that opened recently and highly recommend it. I was welcomed warmly, paid for a 90 min massage, and the female masseuse brought me to a nice clean room. I told her my preferences for soft on the back and firm elsewhere which she followed exactly. Other massage places have ignored my requests which resulted in pain. The oil was warm which was much appreciated. I left feeling like a million bucks and was able to run extra long on the treadmill, pain free. I’ll definitely be back again next week.
