I’m not a gamer but came to ask advice on a game for a young child. Edward was so nice and informative to me. While looking around the store I overheard him talking to 3 different people and he was so passionate and helpful to all of them. One was about Pops (which are a type of toy), one was about shooting games, and one was about equipment. I was really impressed with how he spoke to the level of the customer… like I know very little, so he kept it basic, but he really went into lots of tiny details with the customers who had advanced knowledge.
I will be back!

My bank account was hacked by someone and they spent $ 600 at this LOCATION! So, it is fair to state that GameStop does little to check secure transactions. I have yet to receive so much as a memo from this company or location.

Worst Service Ever
Today we were out and had dinner. We decided to go to this Gamestop. My son looked up a game online and it indicated that the location might have at least one copy. When we walked there were only two customer at the counter. We went to the Vita section to look for the game. I told my son to go to the counter see if they might have it saved somewhere. At that time there was only 1 customer in the store and a young lady filing or sorting games. My son got no acknowledgement from anyone. After continued looking in the section I decided to stand there with him. The guy at the counter still did not acknowledge us. The girls was sorting games right next to us and nothing. Did anyone teach these folks the basics of good customer service? After five more minutes nothing. I told my son I will stay with him if he wanted to but this was very poor customer service. After 10 minutes still nothing and we left the building. Well they lost out on a sale.

Midnight release for the game destiny. I am giving five stars because the staff was super. They are organized with the crowds. They provide free game loot and snacks. The employees were all pleasant. It almost made me want to buy a game tonight and reward them with my business. Sadly it will be another day, since I left my wallet at home and my buddy did purchased some goodies, so all is well.

Timothy is the man! He knew exactly what I needed when I asked and recommended a product that would save me money in the long run.
This store has been here for so long and the employees are always super friendly. Thats hard to say since most gamestops are like any other store now a days. These employees are actual gamers though so they know whats up. Also if you come here often might as well buy the power up rewards plan and save up points.

Great store among the many. An associate here went above and beyond to get my Last of Us special edition. I no longer visit other locations.

Came here on Black Friday and wanna know why it wasn’t a nightmare for me… I just wanted one game that I knew wouldn’t sell out :)
Came in the afternoon of Black Friday. Went in, told them what I wanted and got it!
Just Dance 2014 for $ 16 (org privece is $ 40).
Customer service was nice.
Parking was a nightmare. Overall, good experience if you don’t want the high volume stuff

I came to the store in hopes of exchanging a bootlegged game the online Gamestop store sold me. An employee was there ready to help me. I explained my situation and presented the employee the bootlegged game. He briefly examined it and then tried convincing me that it’s the real thing and the sticker on the game was just tampered with by the previous owner and then later claimed it was just «refurbished».
That ticked me off the moment he said that. I did some extensive back-​up research on used games and bootlegged games before my purchase because buying used games is always risky. The game cartridge was clearly unlike the others I purchased along with it. (Poor print quality, different engraving and fonts, etc. etc.) I mean c’mon it was flat out obvious it was a fake and I even insisted in showing photo evidence for it.
Anyways the manager, I presume, helped with my issue instead of the employee. He even knew it was a fake just at a glance of it. It just shows how much the other employee is inexperienced and ignorant. (C’mon poorly printed image on the game cartridge just screams out faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!) Thankfully I was able to exchange the unfortunately duped game for the real game the story luckily carried. I was also charged another extra ~$ 6 because of pricing differences between the online store purchase and store purchase but the manager was genuinely kind enough to drop the charge.
Overall I was extremely satisfied with my experience with the presumed manager rather than the employee; he was quick and to the point (even though the other employee served me til the end). Would of given 4 – 5 stars if the employee wasn’t so persistent in trying to prove me wrong or if I just had the experience with the manager only.

Never again will I trust gamestop to honor a pre order. Avoid this location at all cost, the staff don’t communicate with each tiger and just make promises that they can’t keep. If you value your time just go ahead and buy your games at best buy across the way

They buy and sell games, so I wanted to check this spot out. prices are better elsewhere (especially online). but it was nice to find a local shop for games

The employees are really cool and nice and they will help you with whatever you need. But they do have some wack policy’s. Overall I would definitely recommend this store to anyone.

Rarely do I come to the internet to write a bad review about any company, but my experience with this Game Stop has been infuriating. I called them all week about when the Skylanders action figure, Hot Dog, would be released, and I kept being told later in the week. Finally, today, I was told it was here and it would be unpacked from the shipment by 2pm. My very excited son accompanied me to the store, and when we walked in we both spotted many packages of him lining the front of the store; we shared a moment of excitement that my son was finally going to be able to play this character in his game (something he’s waited for for months), and we preceded to get in the long line to purchase him. Once we finally got to talk to an employee we were quickly told we could not buy him because all of the packages were reserved. Not once on the phone were we ever told of this detail. And when I complained to the employee about why they had him displayed as though he could be purchased with no sign saying otherwise after I waited in line, he said «so people will know we have him.» I explained that is disappointing for a kid, and I would have been happy with even the smallest attempt at customer service, like «sorry for the confusion», «sorry you waited in line», etc… I got nothing, just a blank stare. I realize it’s not his fault the company has their policies and way of doing things, but he apparently lacked even the most basic ability to communicate as a representative of the store. Never again will I go into this store. I’d rather pay a little more and get our gaming needs met on Amazon.

This is a nice location because its no as busy as most Game Stops are. I usually pre-​order for this location. Its close to my house and I can always find parking etc. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Obvious that they are gamers themselves which i like. I can count on them for advice on a new game etc.

If you have any games you don’t want anymore, sell them to GameStop! At least you’ can get some money back even if it’s not the full price. Gamestop do have pre-​owned games for a cheaper price. Just make sure you tell the cashier you want to look at it before they put it in the box. You don’t want to put a scratched up game into your system.
Return policy! You get 30 days starting the day you purchased the item to return the item and get a full refund, if not, you will only get credit to spend on your next item. Sad face.
Service went well for me. Weekends aren’t that bad here. Parking might be a beetch, just don’t park that close to GameStop because there’s other restaurants near it.

Other than the smell of ripe teenage armpits this store is okay. Prices are high, much higher than online prices. Trade in values are not worth your time. You get $ 5 for your game and they resell it for $ 40 –_​– Obviously they have to make some kind of profit BUT the rate at which they pay you for the trade in is usually meh. The store is VERY tiny. When a new game is out the place is usually pretty packed. Typical GameStop experience. 3 stars

I’m very surprised that this place is lasting so long with Best Buy being just around the corner. Do they have some games that they don’t carry or something? The gem about this Gamestop is the staff. Not sure what corporate does with training their staff but they’re doing a great job at this Gamestop.
Very helpful and kind. They know what they’re talking about and even with tons of questions, they never seem annoyed! Great customer service at this Gamestop!
The bad… the prices are still a little higher and not too many specials, and after noon time, the place gets really hot because the sun hits it directly.

Bah! GameStop may be a convenient alternative to BB which is nearby — if BB doesn’t have something. If you disapprove of BB for a plethora of other reasons (e.g. wasting my time trying to sell me mag subscriptions or extended warranties at the checkout!), then GS might be your place.
I frequented the place until the corporate side started sending me opt out spam text messages and I was sodomized by an online downloadable purchase through a third party via their website. I may sound like a grumpy bitch, but WTH is it with businesses these days. It’s not good enough I’m buying stuff in your store.
The guy that was manager there at the time used to upsell the f*k out of me and try to get me to pre-​order games that I didn’t have the slightest interest in. However, he will help you find something in a genre of game, if you give a heads up, and generally knows his stuff, more than you can say for one of the blue shirts next door.
I will also give it to them that they had a Wii when no one else was carrying them during the early selling waves. They will buy your used games for cheap if you don’t feel like messing with eBay or Craig’s List. I did try to sell back something to them that I bought a week earlier and their offer was soo incredibly low, I opted for eBay and nearly made double their offer.
Anyhow… I’m not really an angry hater.

I give five stars to the employees, they are extremely friendly and really helpful. One guy (maybe the manager? not sure) knows a ton about everything he is selling and really works with you to make sure you are happy.
I gave minus one star because I bought a used x box 360 from there and it didnt work. I traded it in for a new one, and that one didnt work too. Ended up just getting my money back.

I used to frequent these guys during my PS2 days years ago.
When the X-​Box 360 was announced, I was going to do my thing as a budding «entrepreneur» and buy several of them and sell them on Ebay for a lot of money. Hey, I wasn’t the only one doing this. I was able to pre-​order them with no problems. The launch day was upon me, and I got a friendly automated telephone call from Gamestop corporate that my systems would not be available to me until 3 months from launch date. WTF??? If that was the case, why would they take pre-​orders assuring me that I would receive them on launch date? Gimmie back my money… which they did.
Anyways, fast forward to the PS3, I did the same thing, pre-​ordered a couple, was told that I would get them on launch date, lo and behold, that friendly automated message said I was assed out.
Gamestop, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, my ass is sticking with Amazon.

The boys are very helpful here when it comes time to pick out a cool gift. Maybe it’s due to these pats of butter on my chest, but I’ll take all the friendly service I can get.
