This place is actually pretty good! It’s all vegetarian and vegan! I see some reviews saying there’s a lot of tofu… well obviously there’s going to be a lot of tofu because it’s vegetarian cuisine. Most vegetarian dishes contain tofu. Me and my family ordered about 5 dishes and did it family style. All the dishes we got were all really good! From the quesadilla, soup, salad, and rice dishes! All very delicious! However, the dishes can get pretty expensive, for a small portion too. I guess you pay for the fresh food. I would definitely see myself coming back here!

I am writing this review as I wait for my to go order. Based on this alone. Stop. Don’t go. 13 tables 1 waitress makes for a bad experience. Waited over 25 min. for two appetizers. Spring rolls and the quinoa sushi. Okay. Almost an hour later I get to try my food. I had to walk back to my office. OK so when I started to write this I was on a 30 min lunch. I never finished my review. After tasting the food I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good I have been back since the first visit and I called ahead. A much better experience. Try it if you have never had Vegan food. I will go back as long as I call ahead I will be happy with the experience.

I forgot how amazing this place is! Came here craving sushi and remembering that I’ve had it here before. I’ve now concluded it is my favorite vegan place to get sushi. Quinoa sushi(minus avocado). I don’t remember there being a dressing/cream last time so while I was waiting for our waitress to return and ask her about it, the owner saw my confusion and asked to help out. Apparently it’s a soy based, oil free tofu sauce. So good! Staff is always so friendly. Food is always delicious. I’m definitely coming back soon to try the rest of their menu :)

My husband and I(meat eaters) took my mother(vegan) today and it was unanimous that we love the place. Husband got the Burrito and LOVED it. My mother got the Vegetable Curry and at first thought she was going to take some home for later but ate every drop. I ordered the Tomato Dill soup and an appetizer of the Summer Rolls thinking the soup would be a cup. The small soup was a pretty big bowl and was fantastic. I like to order things I don’t see often and Tomato Dill soup is something I’ve never seen. Granted you must like dill because there is a bit of it but it was just so good. Although I was full from the soup I brought the spring rolls home and they were awesome two hours later especially with that lovely peanut sauce. We will be back soon, meat or no meat ;-)

Cute little food place in Pasadena, my friends and I had a lovely respite from our busy day here for lunch. The décor was very refreshing, I loved the light green and cream/white feel, it brightened up the restaurant with lighting mostly coming from the front windows. It was not dark at all. Food was sooo yummy, I want to come back and try more of the menu. Four out of five stars because waiting for the food and prpcessing the check were both long. But then again when you’re in meter parking time starts to matter more.

This place is amazing! I’ve made it one of my regular spots for lunch or dinner. Love the teriyaki golden rolls and banana Thai rolls for desert. Best place for vegan food in Pasadena! Their juices are also really good! The service is great! All the staff are so friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and calming. I would definitely recommend trying it out!

Review is mostly based on a burrito. A single burrito… It’s awesome. Gigantic, savory, and satisfying. There’s avocado for creaminess, chewy soy protein bits, some brown rice(there’s not that much, so it doesn’t taste like a filler. We balanced), all wrapped in a soft wheat tortilla. This one is 5 stars. Other stuff: Phở is good. Curry tofu scramble– not bad, but not super flavorful. Lots of it, though. Light curry flavor. Vegetable teriyaki and broccoli– surprisingly good. Like, for such a cliché dish, I’d order it again. I think it’s the pieces of oyster mushroom and the sauce that does it.

I had spring rolls with thin strips of «steak» and loved them! My son had dumplings and he enjoyed those, too. I had the portabella burger and my son had the«steak» sandwich. Delicious, both of them! Then we shared a – very generous – slice of chocolate cake. Yummy! Lovely people work here and seem to know some regulars. I hope this is a restaurant that lasts.

I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve had great food, great service and the place is clean. The people who work there are always polite. I’ve tried a few dishes and loved them. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes when I’m in town!

This is a quaint restaurant off of busy Colorado Blvd. If you’re not looking for it specifically then you’d probably miss it. I thought the location was nice because you don’t get the noise of traffic and people. My friend and I decided to try it out for lunch because of the decent Unilocal reviews. I ordered the Indian curry and collectively we added a bunch of starters including pita with hummus, fried wonton and golden crispy rolls. The hummus was deliciously made, the wontons were mediocre and the crispy rolls were flavorful without the sauce. The food was pretty good but nothing spectacular. The prices were also reasonable for the portion. Overall a nice experience and I’ll probably give them another try.

Asian flair flavors using your traditional Thai/Vietnamese ingredients, such as bean sprouts, spinach, chopped carrots, and four pieces of stir fried tofu with a few pieces of steamed beets, and they called it a beets salad to charge us $ 9 for it. It wasn’t bad but there was an obvious lack of effort to add a little more salt or even toss the salad to look more appeasing to eat. The wonton soup for $ 6.50 in a smaller bowl than the bowl they normally charge for small was not good. I’ll give them credit for making fresh wontons but the dough wasn’t fully cooked. They’re thin too so I don’t understand how you can undercook the wontons… I wasn’t sure about the flavors in the soup. It tasted like they used pre-packaged ramen powder, which is a shame because despite the fresh wonton they made, the ramen powder flavor reminded me of something processed. The spinach asparagus soup was way too salty and the spinach mango didn’t have a distinct flavor. I couldn’t taste the mango nor the spinach. It wasn’t sweet or tangy. Unfortunately, I’ve tried way too many good vegan places that actually put in the effort that this place seems below average to me. Vegan food are expensive because they use a lot of ingredients and seasoning. It even takes a certain pallet to come up with interesting dishes. You can’t just simply slap veggies in everything and call it a vegan cuisine. Sorry.

It’s ok. If you like starchy vegan grub like burgers and fries with fake meats, this is a decent place for it. They also do smoothies and juices, the place is quiet and the service is pretty good. Overall, not the best place, but not the worst either. We’ll give it another try and check out their less starchy items next time.

What’s up? I’m a vegan, and my friend is an omnivore. Whenever I get vegan dishes at a restaurant, I’m essentially paying like, $ 14 for a chickpea dish I could make at home for 30 cents. I paid $ 12 here for a meal made with the most convincing vegan beef strips, quality ingredients, and beautiful plate presentation. My friend got some sort of noodle soup and loved it. The restaurant is CLEAN, and the server was a gentleman. Please support this business!

Came here for dinner and absolutely loved it! I had the curry tofu, so delicious! I also decided to get the carrot cake, best decision so creamy and rich! I definitely will come back for dinner and dessert!

Not bad. The food was fair. The staff were not overly impressive. The restrooms were not good. One stall had no paper or seat covers, the second stall was flooded. Luckily, the third stall was in working condition with paper! I asked for them to add zucchini to my dish and the waiter was hesitant. So then I suggested swapping it with another veggie in the dish. He was able to add the zucchini… just a bit.

— Vegan sushi — It didn’t really taste like sushi but it did have its texture. I don’t care if it didn’t taste like sushi, I just wanted it to be good. It just tasted like quinoa and avocado. — Carrot juice — It just tasted like fresh carrot juice. Not much to say about it really. I would prefer maybe some ginger in it. OVERALL This place uses lots of vegetables and grains. Don’t expect things to taste like meat but they will have a similar texture. I think this place would be better if it used more sauces to enhance the flavors. FYI: I was full when I finished eating but found myself hungry shortly afterwards.

I really feel bad for the Chef. There were so many picky customers making demands about their menu items. Hint, quit being so picky and maybe the food will taste better. Golden Crispy Rolls-Vietnamese style«egg-less» rolls. They were crispy and very good. Wonton Soup-Broth was good and vegetables were cooked perfect, however the protein used in the wonton did not taste good. Spicy lemongrass tofu-A very bland tasting sauce served with a very soft style of tofu. Orange Imagination-Soy Chicken served in an orange sauce. Very bland and not flavorful. Service-Slow. They need more help. Only one person taking orders. Parking-Limited Street Parking

Four star for taste/food which is all I care about anyway. This place has a bit of an identity crisis. The white table cloth and cloth napkins make this place feel a little stuffy, but the menu is casual-eatery type food. I got the quinoa fiesta, which is listed under salads, but tastes kind of like a fried rice dish. It was served warm and seasoned pretty well. There was no dressing, which to me makes it not really a salad, but again, identity crisis seems to be the theme. My dining companion got a chicken burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy and pretty good. The burger was good too, traditional burger toppings over a fake chicken patty. Nothing fancy.
