This restaurant takes my vote for best vegan food in LA. The portions are HUGE! The yellow curry with soy-chicken is UNREAL! Every dish is made with love, fantastic ingredients and is all vegan! So no guessing if there is chicken stock or fish sauce in these yummy curries! Price is fair for the portions. I’m a big guy and can eat A LOT so I always leave places like sage or café gratitude feeling hungry and like I overpaid. Not here. Chikn nuggets are amazing. Spicy ramen is seriously enough for 3 people. HUGE! Staff is friendly. Right off the 110, easy to get to! PROTIP: French fries with cashew-nut cheez and a yellow curry. Thank me later.

Found out about this small place about a month ago, and I just can’t get enough of it! Waiters are kind and the service is quick and pleasant, many tasty options on top of the traditional Thai food. If you are Vegan and looking for really great food without losing your paycheck, this is it! Enjoy:)

The special Pad Thai was the best we have ever eaten! This small eatery is quaint and cozy, the people very friendly. I ‘d go back if ever in that area again! Great experience!

I eat meat so I don’t know what to say. My partner loves this stuff. Gobbles it up. gobblegobblegobble That’s insanity. I keep going back. «Want to go to My Vegan?» «…Yes.» “Let’s go to My Vegan.” «…Okay.» “I was thinking we could go to My Vegan.” «…Sure.» I never bother asking, «Why?» or the more appropriate, «Seriously though, do you even lift, bro?» I just do it. And yet, somehow, My Vegan earns praise. Because, at the end of night I’d rather have a bad fake chicken wrap, and know I’m going to get attention, rather than a scrumptious In-N-Out burger, knowing I’ll be curling into the fetal position, alone on the couch gently weeping, and rocking myself through the pain of animal style fries. You win Vegans. I hope you’re happy now.

Every time I come here, the food always tastes fresh! The red curry is so good! Also, the chicken sandwich tastes delicious! There is good service. We did not have to wait too long for the food. Really good vegan food! And eating here doesn’t hurt your wallet. Haha

I go here A LOT. First, I always prefer to eat at an all-vegan restaurant so I know I can trust it and I prefer the food at My Vegan to a lot of other all-vegan spots. The fake chicken nuggets are the closest thing I’ve tasted to McDonald’s chicken nuggets, and you have the added bonus that they’re not made of pink slime, so it’s great taste without the gross out factor. The dipping sauce, a kind of vinegary soy sauce really makes it. I usually get the pad see ew, chinese broccoli, or brilliant salad, and a whole coconut to drink. It’s all good and service is reliable and quick. This place is a dependable favorite in our rotation.

Great, lively place to take in the game – like I am today, watching my Seahawks destroy the Browns in Seattle. They have NFL Sunday Ticket. Not every pub does around here. Silly for those that don’t. Bout Time is a working man’s pub, a few very comfortable levels up from a dive bar. Mixed group of singles, couples, and a few families with kids all here to watch the NFL games. (Riley, where did you learn that word?! Probably at Bout Time. Family friendly in that it’s unpretentious. But obviously not Mormon-kid safe, cause it’s a bar.) I came alone, and quickly made friends with Hawkers and non-Hawkers alike. Prompt service accentuated by the warm smile of the lovely and attentive Jess. Jess recommended a nut brown ale, and she steered me right. It was full-bodied, smooth, perfect cream head, and served ice cold. After pounding a few, it was time for some food. Garlic fries are the bomb. Double the garlic by dipping in housemate ranch. The onion soup was too salty. And this is the one bad point. But, I brought it to their attention, and they immediately took it off the bill. On a Sunday afternoon, watching my team, drinking a really good beer. What more can a guy ask for?

I really like this little vegan place. It is mostly a Thai restaurant, but has some vegan burger and sandwich options. I have so far tried their deluxe fried rice, cashew combos, spicy eggplant combos, and pad thai. I like the special pad thai most. A very big portion, solid ingredients, just a little too sweet to my taste. But it can last two meals for me! The fried rice has too much fake meat that I don’t like, and it is on the oily side. Th combos are good deal too. I like the basil taste from the spicy eggplant, a good choice as well. Never very crowded, a lot of delivery and take-out I guess. A good place for a quick lunch.

This is vegan Thai. Of what we tried, only the Pad See Ew was any good. It wasn’t very wok charred but it had a nice soy taste. The yellow curry was horrible almost 70% liquid and no filling. What it did have was totally lacking — mostly raw onion, a few chunks of potato, and the stray tofu. Finding the filling was like going fishing with a net, scooping and hoping and bring really sad because it’s nothing but endless spoonfuls of raw onion. The special pad Thai was unique, with eggplant and kale too but it wasn’t aggressively seasoned enough and we found a hair inside. Thai food is naturally super adaptable to vegan since you just sub out tofu for all meat and coconut milk based curry is already vegan so I don’t see a reason to seek out a specially vegan Thai place, esp that isn’t that good.

My bf and I came here Sunday night around 5:30pm after a hike at Chantry Flats. There was plenty of parking and we were seated right away. The restaurant décor and atmosphere wasn’t too impressive. But I loved that there were so many choices on the menu! The weird thing is the restaurant only had one restroom that you had to go through the kitchen. The service was good. The food… the food was really really really good. We ordered spicy edamame, spicy vegan ramen, and pad Thai with vegan beef and soy chicken added. All of it was amazing. I was definitely satisfied and will come again if I’m in the area. Only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is the ambience and restroom. If it was just based on the food I would’ve given them 5 stars.

Oh my gosh, since moving from the east coast, I’ve been so disappointed with the pad Thai on the West Coast, California. However coming here was the best pad Thai on this side of the Missouri. Highly recommend, their seasoning is excellent!!! Wish I lived closer so I could eat here more!

Friendly staff, order to go was convenient and fast, and definitely healthy all Vegan!!! Ample parking and can dine in too. I ordered the Vegan Cheeseburger to go. Yummy. I will be going here again when I’m in Pasadena and need some good, Vegan food in a hurry or for a nice sit down meal. Thanks #MyVeganRestaurant.

Pretty decent place. A friend of mine recommended their orange chicken and so I thought I’d give vegan orange chicken a try. It was alright to me. The actual texture and serving size wasn’t bad. The food just tasted a bit too sour for me. There was an overpowering flavor. My dad is a retired professional Asian chef and he’s made some of the best orange chicken in Orange County so I know what it should taste like. The one served here was too«orangey» they might have out too much zest or used vinegar instead of oranges but I didn’t taste the sweet and the crunch that comes with traditional orange chicken dishes. Albeit this is fake began chicken… I believe there is a way to fry it to make it crunch no? The chicken was very very spongy. Not my taste, but it is a healthy option and good vegan choice nonetheless.

IT’S SOGOOOOOOOOD. The yellow curry and woke mushroom noodle soup is the best I’ve had at any restaurant. I will be back sooner rather than later, and since its vegan, I’ll be telling all my of my friends! Can’t wait to see you guys again, ITWASAMAZING

I really liked the Yellow curry noodles! I’ve had it before because my roommate loves it. We decided to try other things on the menu. We got the fish and the«pork» I did not like either of them! I really don’t like that taste of fake meat. I like tofu, but not soy products made to taste like meat. I prefer vege paradise and happy family because on most dishes they use vegetables(mushroom, taro) in place of meat instead of mystery vegan meat. The yellow curry noodles are good tho! I would only go back to eat that!

I love this place! The thai iced tea is amazing definitely one of the highlights. I’ve eaten here a few times now. I love the Hang noodle a thai dish with peanuts, noodle, and a delicious sauce. They do American and thai but I like their thai dishes more. Haven’t tried a desert yet, they offer banana cupcakes and banana bread. I hope to try both soon. Definitely a place to check out!

Food was spectacular! I had read an article that was posted on my Facebook page that My Vegan was the spot to hit up in the Pasadena City area, so I did. Came here with a friend and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered the satay chicken as an appetizer, the yellow curry and teriyaki chicken for the entrée. Satay chicken! Lightly fried tofu. What was great about this dish(and all the other«chicken» dishes) was that I never once thought to myself that it wasn’t chicken. They made it look so awesome and chicken-like. The satay sauce had a strong peanut buttery taste. It was just an overall great dish. Yellow curry with brown rice: I ate everything. Came with tofu, peas and carrots, and potatoes. Filled me up so quickly! Teriyaki chicken: made the chicken look so authentic! Great dish. ! I would definitely come back. Prices were not too bad. Around $ 10 a plate. Small parking lot in a small plaza. Service: they always came and refilled my water. We’re very gracious at not kicking us out. They started to clean up the place but my friend and I were so. busy catching up that we didn’t realize it was closing time. It was nice of them to not kick us out.
