My girlfriend and I were in utter need of a mani & pedi since it had been so many weeks and our toes looked like they were mad at us. I have been going to same nail shop for the past 8 years, but since I haven’t really had time to get it done Holiday Hair & Nails seemed like a decent spot to check out. Nancy did my manicure and pedicure, and even though it was close to the closing time she was nice enough to fit us both into her schedule. So far I’ve had some really bad experiences with new nail shops but Nancy really did a good job, and I think if I’m ever in Pasadena and in need of a nail job, this place is definitely where I’ll be headed. ENJOY!

I’ve been going here for years, and I still love it! As always, Helen and Nancy are great for nails, and Nancy is great at doing eyebrows. It’s not a fancy salon, but it’s good quality, especially for what you’re paying. Also, it’s a good idea to make an appointment ahead of time.

Good. $ 20 mani w/​pedi. If only getting a mani, bring cash, if possible-​you can only charge $ 15+ and that does not include tip. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and have generally been pleased. Nothing highbrow or frou-​frou… good service for your money. Friendly gals. Don’t go near closing time as I feel the quality of work goes downhill if they are looking to close the shop soon.

I was driving by an had only 30 min. Before I had to pic up my kids from school. I walked in and asked if they could do a full set of nails within that time. They said yes. it was my first time there and I was a little iffy about it but I gave them a try. Even though my nails were done in a rush they came out great. Just like I wanted them. The ladies there are very nice. I will keep going.

I have come here off and on over the years because its right next door to Tropitana for a quick nails/​tan get-​ready and been relatively happy in the past with availabilit and with the quality of pedicures and waxing and of course glad it was very affordable. But this last time in mid-​October 2013, I was actually chagrined at how unkempt the salon seemed in every way and the process of doing my nails did not seem hygienic either. I am not picky on these things and can have latitude for real life and its concomitant entropy, but the cleanliness of a nail salon is so important. I just couldn’t believe how run down the place has become and how careless the procedures for ensuring cleanliness. I wanted to run out but the staff are nice so I did not want to insult anyone so just sat there grossed out.

I was very disappointed the last two times I have been. I have been going there for years and the last two times I’ve had to go back to have them fix my nails. The first time I got gels for my nail color. The pink turned yellow within two days! Of course they said no it looks fine, I said no it was suppose to be baby pink not yellow! last week I got acrylic nails and not even five days later they are lifting and are ready to pop off. So upset because now I have to find a new place that doesn’t mess up my nails every time! grrr. Costing me money and time. I would go back but they would roll their eyes and somehow accuse me of messing them up like last time.

I walked into this place not knowing what to expect as I was a new customer. Wow, they did such a fabulous job on my nails. I got a french manicure with gel polish and I have never had such a perfect application of polish to my nails… I never want them to chip because the polish looks so good. It’s been two weeks and so far the gel polish hasn’t chipped at all, which means they dryed it correctly during application. The pedicure was also great. One note, if you are picky about polish colors you might want to bring a color of your own, but believe me when I say they paint nails the best I’ve ever seen and Ive been getting my nails done for over ten years. They definitely have me a client in the future.

Helen and Nancy do a fantastic job on the manicure and pedicure. Although I don’t think they have a great selection of colors, sometimes you just have to take one you like with you. The prices are very good. It’s really hard to find someone that takes out the cuticle the way I like it. I also like the fact they have a portable tub to soak our feet. I think it’s much more hygienic than the stationary ones. Also when I’m in a hurry they can do my pedi while Mae does my hair.
Mae does a great job with highlights. Also extremely affordable.

Mia is a wiz when it comes to hair. Knows her stuff and helpful.
