After getting a very weak hour massage for 50 crazy dollars that has been interrupted by the massage lady running to other customers every 10 minutes, she demanded a 10 $ tip.!WTF?I’ve learned my lesson: for good and cheap massage God created San Gabriel! So i’ll never cheat on it again. Completely different experience for 35 $!

I hold a lot of tension and stress in my shoulders and neck, and she spent her time working through the knots and cricks. She also compressed the rest of my body so that by the time I walked out of there, I felt refreshed and relaxed. I talked to the lady, she said the business owner changed, not that lady whom the reviewer talked about. I will come back again definitely and also recommend to my mom.

Worst massage & facial of my life. For the first half, all I could hear was the yelling and sound system from the Crossfit my room shared, which I could have overlooked had they not used a cheap, $ 0.99 store-bought mask for my facial(the type you could buy at any Asian convenience store). They requested tip before rendering services and I walked out with white flakes all over my face. Not to mention, they left the door to the room open the entire time, including after she asked me to remove my shirt. As nice touch at the end was when she gave me water and a candy. An open wrapper with candy inside, rather. You really can’t write this stuff. Don’t do it!

The lady that runs the place seems to be friendly, but she gives you attitude if you don’t agree with her. The place smells and you can see spire weaves on corners & ceiling. For the massage it was just rubbing. They do not listen what you say or need. Bad service & bad place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

So my boyfriend and I passed by as we were going to Dominos. We saw a lady sitting and we asked her how much would it be for a 20 minute shoulder massage. Now my boyfriend and I love massages so we know what’s cheap and what’s expensive. he went in and asked her and she replied with $ 38 for 30 minutes. I was astonished and said that’s too expensive and she gave attitude. Worst place ever do not come here.

I went in because the price was low and I was in need of some lower back work. I am a massage therapist myself… and I explained to the woman who didn’t even listen to me that I was having lower back pain, and that the pressure she was using was much too hard… I asked her to warm up the tissue before going in deep with her elbows. She did not listen, laughed and said I was«too sensitive». I also told her not to touch my heel spur which is a huge contraindication(a place not to massage) and she again did not listen. I told her to stop touching my feet. the pain was intolerable. I couldn’t WAIT for my torture session AKA massage to be over. The place is dingy and smells strange… I am usually not too picky about how a place looks if the massage is healing… but nothing about this place is healing. I will never go back. Ever.

Popped in after a few months to get a good facial for cheapo. Like an old friend, Arroyo Day Spa and Massage was here for me. For $ 38 I got the hour European facial and the little kind Asian lady steamed, cleaned, exfoliated, moisturized, masked, and poked me clean. My skin feels amazing and soft and it’s not red and raw like some places leave me. That being said, it’s no Burke Williams. Do not expect a locker room or jacuzzi or overpriced products. Instead, they use products available at your local drugstore and there is zero upsell or pressure to spend more. I can always get in with zero wait, zero hassle. I’m instantly pumped full of water to hydrate me and wrapped up in blankets and heating pads to keep me warm and comfortable. Looking around, I did notice their little blue licenses on the wall this time. And to be honest, the little Asian lady gives a really good facial. She also asks about your family, your relationship, and notices your weight loss or hair cut. She’s like an old friend as much as she’s your facialist. Overall experience wise, I’m more than satisfied and left happy, glowing, clean and soft. Really, I can’t ask for anything more. It’s a store front type place, but one in which I’m happy to give my business when I’m in the area.
