Hamilton Park

A safe and peaceful haven in Upper Hastings Ranch. Walking distance from my house. Playground, baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, relaxing or whatever you want to do, this is the place. Take a load off, Hamilton is wonderful.

The Park is very nice. There are wide open spaces for kids to play. Tennis courts, playgrounds and a nice water mist spray tower on the playground. It is well shaded in the evening too. It is relatively peaceful.
The negatives are that despite the prominent «No Drugs» sign, the picnic area on the far west of the park is the preferred area for the local area kids to smoke cigarettes, marijuana, vape (e-​cigarettes) and drink alcohol. This is unfortunate because they leave a LOT of cigarette butts and beer cans there. How do I know this? I see some of the same kids walking to the private high school on a weekday morning. So just be mindful of this.
The park is good for kids, but please be a diligent parent, the park is big with lots of places where kids can wander off to.
