IHOP

One star is way too generous. Restaurant is open 24hrs. Employees work like they been working for 168hrs (7days non stop). Old seniors that comes here moves and get out of here faster than the service that is provided.
Order the Sirloin Tip & Eggs, biggest mistake, it taste like left over Chinese food, you know the beef they have for Pepper Steak, exactly like that. It taste like leftover from a Chinese restaurant and heated up in the microwave and put on a plate. Yes, it taste like soy sauce and sugar.
The eggs were very cold like they made a lot and put in a warmer. The hash brown, well if you like it raw then eat it here.
I saved the pancake for last, which I end up not eating, I requested for warm maple syrup, I played 15 levels of Candy Crush and still no hot syrup, but my check came out before I was done, so I paid in cash and left.
Went to Mcdonalds ordered my hot cakes and hot syrup, wow 2 min. How hard is it to get hoy syrup when you heat everything anyways. I know Chef Mike O’ Wave works at iHop anf McDonalds so whats taking so long.

It is 1:30 AfrigginM and my food is colder than my soul! No reason for that as they are not busy, just your typical drunks for this time of night. Floor is trashed and I’m just in a bad mood now.

Food is okay but service is terrible. Waitress was rude. Food takes too long. Dining area isn’t very clean. Not impressed at all.

Service was terrible. Waited about an hour and a half for our food! Server was confused the whole time.

Food was OK. We got the double dipped french toast with sides of eggs, sausage, hash browns etc. My biggest complaint was the service. There were about 5 – 10 wait staff all gathered around talking, yet our glasses were empty. Also the cheesy eggs were disgusting. Just cold cheese thrown on top of cold eggs.

This IHOP is DISGUSTING. Me, my aunt, and my cousin got there and were immediately offered a seat. When we got to the booth there was a puddle of chocolate milk on the floor under the booth. We sat in the booth next to it and the server brought our drinks. The drinks tasted awful and plastic-​y. I ignored it and ordered my food and got a watermelon lemonade instead. The food was pretty good and the service was not bad. She was polite and checked up on us frequently. But, Upon picking at the watermelon in my drink and eating it, I saw a hair on one of the pieces at the BOTTOM of the glass. I was disgusted by the location. Most of the booths were unoccupied and dirty. They tried to seat 2 other couples in the booth with the chocolate milk puddle after us. But all of them obviously complained. This IHOP is gross and needs a visit from a health inspector. I’m not one to complain EVER about a place because I get it, it’s not gonna be perfect, but this place is horrible. I hope the IHOP crew and the manager step up and keep their location clean for the customers in the future.

Yikes! Staying away from this stinching-​smelling-​everything-​is-​dirty-​sticky-​& did I mention nasty smelling. It needs a power wash. I’d hate to see the kitchen. Thank goodness I prayed for my food.

Good place for folks 55 + as they have several good items with a senior discount. Good pancakes as one might expect. Good service.

It was my first time here only because we were returning from the casino and hit the beltway to go home. I have this place four stars simple because of our waitress, Tiffany. She was great & extremely friendly. Tiffany just gave us this nice warm feeling. Finally, she came back to our table to check on us & update us on the status of our order more than once.
I usually order one of their Fit & Fare options. I had the all egg white vegetable omelette with the side of fruit. My omelette was good. However, I think my fruits could have been a little fresher. Other than that, we had no issues.

Ask for Brooke S. She’s a GREAT waitress!
I gave it four stars ONLY BECAUSE the table we were sitting at was close to the front and the kitchen was on the other side of the wall. Usually this doesn’t bother me, but there was a certain machine that occasionally made a loud whirring sound about 5 times in a row, then you’d have about 5 minutes of silence.
The food was mostly delicious. I had a french vanilla coffee with the pumpkin cheesecake pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. My husband had a dr pepper, the chicken fried steak with pancakes and scrambled eggs. He gave his meal 5 stars. The only 2 things I would change are:
1) I’ve never had scrambled eggs that were really as good as I can make at home, but we didn’t come for the eggs, so they were as good as can be expected.
2) The French vanilla coffee was good, but the whipped topping they use is oil based so when it melts into your coffee, you’re left with little drops of oil floating on the surface. I used my spoon to remove most and then it was fine.
The service was INCREDIBLE. Having been a waitress before, I am somewhat picky about what I expect. (I’m not one of those people who complains often, I just discuss things with my husband… poor guy.) Our waitress was Brooke S. She has only been a waitress for about 2 ½ months and this surprised me. She was phenomenal. I will definitely be asking for her from now on!
All in all, it was a great experience and my husband and I enjoyed our breakfast date. :-)

Service was awful!!! It took close to 45 min to get our order and it was incomplete.. I had hair in my food, I gave the food back and the manager did give me a refund but when I received the check they had over charged me on some other items.. never going back !!!

Normally have had good service here. Tonight, 20 minute wait to be seated. We were the only ones in line. 4 tables in use and all had food.
Took waitress almost 10 minutes to ask for our drink order. Finally got drinks15 minutes after we ordered.
I got the Rooty Tooty. Apparently they don’t keep certain toppings in stock. She asked me what I wanted a couple times because they were out of stock. I finally asked her to find out what they do have in stock. Success! I do think this girl is new. Didn’t have a clue as to what my daughter asked for. She didn’t know the menu or product selection very well.
Both meals came out 5 minutes apart. Was brought in pieces. My daughters salad was brought with no dressing and she was asked three times for it and waiting on silverware was the longest wait. Salad was almost inedible. The lettuce tasted bad. The pancakes tasted burned.
If I didn’t have a coupon for a free meal tonight, I would have gone elsewhere. I’ll just go back to the one on Spencer.

Came to this Ihop today, walk in and was never acknowledge. They’re phone rang manager picked and then completed her phone call. Still was not acknowledge. I finally asked for help while she was walking away. She had no name tag and was dressed very unprofessional. I could see inside her blouse. They took very long to give me my order. Worse service given by a manager.

This is the only one my wife and I attend. The service is quick, the waitress are always friendly, the food is good, and it’s always clean. Don’t forget to fill out the Surveys (you get a free stack of pancakes).

Do NOT come to this IHOP! I’m so disappointed! We came to this place to have a nice family breakfast and this was our worst experience yet. The guy that helped us out took our orders and drinks a completely forgot about us. Once he brought our food he brought the check, yes, at the same time!!! How uncomfortable is that??! He forgot about us again and we didn’t even get refills on our drinks. We decided to leave him only a small tip and he still asked if something was wrong. We asked to talk to the manager and the manager said that he didn’t see anything wrong with the situation because that was the regular procedure in all restaurants… Ummm, no it’s not! We’ve decided not to come to this place EVER!!! Who comes back to a place where they make you feel like you’re wrong… Not me!

It’s been several years since I have been to IHOP, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I needed to carbo-​load before the Houston Marathon and IHOP was running their all you can eat pancakes. I was in Heaven! This is there new location in Pasadena, very clean, very attentive staff and pancakes were good. All in all a good breakfast.

I don’t write many scathing review and I rarely swear off a restaurant. But I’m just terribly disappointed with this place. The food was cold, bland and uninspired. Service was slow, goofy and innattentive. The orders were messed up twice. And to top it off, we were charged $ 0.99 for kids refills on milk… who does that?

The reason this IHOP is getting two stars is not because the food, its the service that is not even worth the drive. We got our breakfast and our tab at the same time, we never got refills and we were asked if we wanted to go boxes for our pancakes instead of being asked if we needed warm syrup or something else. The tip of course was not given to her and trust me when I tip I tip good so she missed out. I food was great but the service was horrible.

The IHOP at 3646 East Sam Houston Parkway S in Pasadena, TX is new to the Pasadena, TX area. Centered between Hooters Restaurant and a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Dealership, the restaurant is up-​to-​date in décor and clean.
Greeted quickly upon arrival and seated shortly thereafter.
Tuesday night, 7:30pm, few diners.
Non-​smoking establishment.
Kitchen clean.
Better at cooking breakfast than lunch/​dinner meals. Lunch dinner meals taste frozen/​cooked. Breakfast better but heavy on salted butter. (I prefer unsalted butter.)
Overall food description — lunch/​dinner — reminds me of a school cafeteria. breakfast — nice.
Server was quick and checked on us often. Overheard another server having an inappropriate conversation with a guest. She did seem startled when I jerked my head in her direction and she realized that I overheard her.
Overall, nice experience. Food… just ok.
