A true throw back. Bare bones dinner that serves excellent breakfasts. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was delivered quickly, hot, and cooked perfectly.

I’ve gone here 3 times and I will never come back the food is okay and the customer service is horrible I never get a glass refill. I tried plenty of times to give this place a second chance but never again I’ll just pay the extra dollars for Kelly’s.

Excellent customer service and the food was hot and delicious! I had the breakfast taco with ham and their homemade salsa and hubby had western omelet, hashbrowns, grits & wheat toast! We have found our new breakfast restaurant!

I really liked this place and will definitely be coming back. The service was excellent and very friendly and quick. My only disappointment was with the steak and eggs-a thin cut of fatty skirt steak(or something similar) for $ 12.99 was not to my liking but everything else — eggs, hash browns, coffee was really good. My friend got bacon and pancakes and they were awesome.

I love this place. Very down home feeling mom-and-pop! If you’re ever in Pasadena, Texas definitely stop by you’ll feel very welcomed. The food is absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Southern hospitality at its finest.

Breakfast is expensive, 9 dollars for a western omelette and it small and flat. Looks like a Spanish Torta. I was disappoint after, after a number of friends recommended it to me. $ 33 for two, there are much better places for that price. Folks were very nice, and the manager offered a different plate. Pancakes are good.

I just love this place and the people who work there are extremely friendly. The portions are huge and the French Toast is amazing. No other place comes close in the Deer Park/Pasadena area as far as breakfast goes. The service is wonderful, and that’s probably the biggest reason for my five star review.

Our first time here. We were looking for a mom & pop breakfast restaurant hoping to make it a go to place. This one is definitely on the list. Come in seat yourself. Lots of tables with numbers on them to identity them. We had coffees brought out almost immediately. The coffee was good, hot and definitely bottomless cups. We had Joe as our waiter was very attentive but exasperated with a large group of old«geezers» in another room altogether. Poor Joe did alot of running back and forth. The place was almost full when we arrived but it was definitely full by 10am and people were still coming in. The sign read new name but same management. The restaurant was very clean as were the tiny bathrooms . Now the food. I had the 3 egg bacon omelette with hash browns and toast. The omelette seemed a bit overdone. It was meh. My wife had 3 eggs over medium with bacon, toast and hash browns. The bacon was thick slices and cooked perfectly. There is wi-fi and they do cater. We will return and see if they can earn that 4th Star. They earned the 5th Star today! Lisa was a great waitress. The coffees were very good and plentiful. Warning: I had my first Serano pepper and I am still sweating from my eyes! We will definitely be back. Breakfasts are good portions and freshly made. The kitchen is I the open and you get to see the entire cooking process. 3 eggs, sausage patties, crispy hash browns and grilled sour dough toast. Question: who volunteers to carry me to the car???

If you are looking for a mom and pop breakfast and lunch place. Look no further. Get breakfast for the price and the service is what you would expect from a mom and pop place. Friendly and polite. They check on you to make sure that you are taken care of and they always greet you with a smile!

We eat breakfast here almost every weekend. The pancakes are awesome as is the chicken fried steak and eggs! Despite what the super judgey people from Phoenix say the place is large and they have recently added more space for large groups(not that anyone wants to eat brunch by a large group.) The service is great and so is the coffee!

Cool Texas feel on the inside. The owner’s are so nice, its great to come to a restaurant and have that presence. There wasn’t a wait and we arrived at about 10am; overall the food was good and there service was even better. I’ll definitely be back.

Had breakfast here today with my family. It was very busy but we didn’t have to wait longer than a couple minutes. The food was really good and the portions are big. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely go back!

Excellent service and food! I had the pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. Very large portions, I should gotten half sizes. The coffee was decent and the staff was super friendly, they all said thank you and have a nice day on the way out.

I guess considering the area this was a decent place. We visited on a Sunday, but with it being in Texas, and on a Sunday, of course it would be busy. I guess worshiping Jesus gives you an appetite! Our party was large(we were visiting Texas from Phoenix, so lot of family met for brunch). They squeezed us all into a few tables. This place is very, um, what is the word, cozy? Not like a warm hug cozy, or being snuggled up with a book and some cocoa, cozy. Like visiting Grandma’s double wide cozy, or 3 people in the front of a pick-up cozy. I remember the food was edible, probably decent. I don’t remember details of it, but I think it was an omelet. I remember them bringing the food out in «courses»… Like your toast course, your omelet course, a few minutes later your hash brown course, then shorty thereafter they will bring out the correct food that you actually did order. Bonus, it was cheap, so… Dress Code: Flip Flops, tank tops and cut off denim shorts. PS– If you choose to use the bathroom here be prepared to enter and see a 3 year old taking a crap with the door wide open. I guess this is the kind of place where escorting your toddler to a public restroom is optional. Weirdoes.

We were upset about a few things with our breakfast experience here. Top of the list was being charged $ 9.00 for 2 orders of coffee in large(16oz.) «to go» cups to have with our breakfast. Attitude of the owner when I told him my point of view on the matter really was unprofessional. I was asked to leave. We will never return.

We had our first Broken Yolk experience today and it was very tasty! The bacon was plentiful and the hash browns perfect! Weren’t too crazy about the biscuits– but we are super picky about biscuits. Service was good and prices reasonable. Will we go back? You betcha!

We decided to try again because the waffles were amazing. I ordered two waffles. One waffle came out and it wasn’t as good as last time but still kinda alright. I had to slather with syrup. I told her to nix the second one. She came out and told me the manager wouldn’t remove because it was already made. Well that’s interesting. So we’re paying for it but we won’t be coming back. The waffles aren’t even that good anymore. Meh. The Belgian waffle was amazing but that’s the only thing from here worth eating. We tried Belgian waffle, eggs, hash browns, chicken fried chicken(horrific), biscuit and gravy, coffee — Waffle House is tastier than here.

This place rocks! There were 4 tables waiting to be seated when we arrived. I thought we were in for a long wait but it was less than 5 minutes. I got the chicken fried chicken and waffles. Both items were excellent! The coffee was pretty great too. Our server, Sheri, was fantastic! She was super sweet and fast on her feet. Ask for her if you go! This was an over all A+ experience! I will for sure be back!

I don’t understand why this place seems popular weekend mornings. Service was somewhat slow and not smiling and when the food came it wasn’t worth the wait. The pancakes were overcooked, slightly burned and didn’t have a great flavor. Didn’t like the coffee. Prices were nothing special.
