Ordered some sandwiches for delivery to the office, it’s been an hour and 10 minutes and no food. Just called and after having been put on endless hold twice, the 3rd call I made sure the guy didn’t put me on hold. Says it’s on the way but can’t say when. This is the worst service I have ever had and will not be spending my money here again. Get your shit together guys. Ok 1 and half hour mark, called again now being told the food hadn’t even left. WTF this place sucks

Spent $ 8.69 on a sub with«double meat» which turns out to be two, two slices of thin sliced deli turkey. If you want a sub that’s all white bread, lettuce and mayo — this place is for you.

First time at a JJ and i was pleasantly surprised. This location is practically next door to my office so I figured, why not? All the bad reviews had me a little freaked out at first but I had an overall nice experience. The staff were friendly and helpful(especially as I was staring blankly at their menu trying to decide what to get). Food was ready Sooooo fast, like I had taken two steps away from the counter and it was ready?!? I ordered the beach club which is pretty good. Not a lot of turkey but after many subway encounters, I wasn’t expecting to have a whole lot of meat anyway. The bread was fresh and crunchy and it had pretty decent flavors. I’d come back, especially when I’m crunched for time and needing something quick… beats subway any day right?

Disgusting food. Ate there twice and started breaking out. Did not suspect the food until I ate here today again and I did not have anything else today and after a couple of hours I started breaking out again. Do your self a favor and do not eat here. I should have listened to my buddy and skipped this place.

Horrible experience, I went here laid 11 dollars for a sandwich. Which is no problem but when I asked for the peppers on the side they told me it has to be on the sandwich or not at all. So I tried to compromise with them and ask to have it placed in a napkin or water cut. Both being excellent suggestions it took me by surprise when they declined both saying it would interfere with health code violation?! Really been to JJBEFORETHEYNEVERMINDIT. But maybe it’s a Pasadena thing. Or just a bad JJ. I would suggest pass this one and go to Jersey Mikes or Togos. Anywhere except subway because subway sucks.

Ordered online. They only deliver within a .8 mi. radius so «serious delivery» is not happening. And stopping to pick up the order in Old Pasadena is a challenge. Plus they handed me the drink cups to fill up, on a pick up order? Sub sandwiches were tasty, but the vinaigrette was all oil, no vinegar or seasoning, yuck.

Will never order from this place again! Ordered delivery for my co worker and I and gave my card information, then the next day I have fraud on my card for $ 100 in Duarte! Coincidence I think not. Never coming back!!!

What is this, a turkey sandwich for Ants??? Went here and paid over 10 bucks for a lettuce wrap sandwich and bag of chips. I ordered the GIANTCLUBSANDWICH called the Beach Club. This GIANTCLUBSANDWICH comes with… wait for it…1 slice of turkey. I called to verify this was maybe a mistake but no, their policy on their GIANTCLUBSANDWICH is… 1 slice of turkey. Ouch. Maybe they should rebrand it GIANTMISTAKE if you order this CLUBSANDWICH and happen to actually be HUNGRY. I’m no marketing professional, but at least it would be a bit more honest. Staff was really nice. I will say that, but I’d never come back here for food again.

Ah Jimmy John’s, a place of beauty and wonder. There are three things that make me love Jimmy Johns — The Price(affordable), the Speed(incredible), and the Taste(pretty tasty). This location has unfortunately lost two of those three. For one, the prices have jumped. It is now the same $ 9 a sandwich you can get at any of the better sandwich shops two blocks away. Second, the quality is not what it once was. Someone is trying to squeeze a margin but for me, I say farewell to this Jimmy John’s. Thank you for the quick n’ tasty treats of yesteryear but with a tear I’m on to graze in the million other pastures that pepper Old Town streets.

This location was pretty hidden and empty when I went, but the service and food were great. We got the J.J. Gargantuan to share and I was very happy with our choice. It had genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey & provolone. I absolutely loved this sandwich because it was so fresh and the meat portions were very generous! The bread texture is awesome; not crumbly, tough or chewy, but flexible and fluffy: D

If you like your sandwiches with a healthy amount of oil and mayo you may like Jimmy Johns, or at least this location. You do get your sandwich quickly without having to wait around too long; I think I waited less than 45 seconds to get mine. This location’s customer service is nonexistent, their only concern is to pump out subs as quickly as they can. They didn’t listen to my request of light mayo one of the times I was here. Their #9 Italian Night Club sandwich is pretty good. It’s your typical italian sub consisting of salami, capicola, ham, provolone. Don’t get their #10 Hunter’s Club aka roast beef. No flavor whatsoever. You actually taste the mayo over the roast beef, and I ordered this with light mayo. no bueno. Skip this. Still, I’d recommend Jimmy John’s over Subway. Metered parking can be found all over; typically 12 minutes a quarter.

This Jimmy John’s location in Old Town Pasadena is excellent! The staff was friendly and very fast making my sandwich. The store was busy, but I was in and out within 5 minutes during the lunch rush, which is rare in this busy part of town. I ordered the veggie sandwich with sprouts! It is pretty straightforward, but they did a great job creating it to my liking. The only reason I can’t give five stars is that the employees didn’t seem to be paying much attention to me when I arrived, and it took them a minute to attend to me.

Why is the customer service so horrible here??? Ok that’s great that my sandwich was made quickly, but really, calm down. I ordered my roast beef sandwich and right away one of the other girls is yelling at the cashier, «WHATISIT?! #2?!» And before I had a chance to add any options on she had splattered mayonnaise on my bread and wrapped it up ready to move on with her life. Honestly you missed a great opportunity to up sell and I missed my sprouts. These are sandwiches, not babies that are in need of swaddling. The sandwiches are not even that good to endure such awful customer service.

I would give it a five, if they didn’t charge extra for a pickle. Other than that I love their subs. It seems to me that the ingredients are the finest, and freshest. No more Subway for me. Great sandwich makers, who are polite, friendly, and conscientious.

This is the worst Jimmy John’s I’ve ever dealt be with. I wish to God there was another in my vicinity. Literally every time I order from this place they deliver to the wrong location and I have to go find them. I write clear instructions for delivery every time and there’s only a 50% chance they’ll call me when they are lost. Even down to writing the name of my building in the order multiple times.

Ordered Jimmy John’s for an office lunch today and everything was great! Online ordering was easy, they accommodated a last minute addition and were on time for delivery. This was our first time having their sandwiches and everyone was very happy. The bread was soft and the fillings were tasty and substantial. I personally tried 2 different ones both clubs with roast beef and would come here for lunch on my own. Jimmy John’s will definitely be added to the list of places I use for lunch catering! Now if they only had catering salads… that would be an extra star!

Being from Detroit, I love Jimmy John’s. The bread is delicious, it’s quick, fresh, cheap, and hassle free. I’ll always support my domestic relatives and friends but I have to be honest; it’s just a sandwich shop. Frankly, this location is sterile and lacking character(it’s clean enough to eat off the floor though, if that’s your thing). Maybe it’s just too new to me. It looks very metropolitan but appears to service a small crowd. I think it will get better with time, but for now, it’s just a sandwich shop that makes good sandwiches on the fly for cheap.

Fast and friendly service, but their sandwiches are missing something. Maybe this location is still trying to find its footing since it is brand new and the staff are probably not experienced sandwich makers yet. Pros: + I enjoy the texture of the french bread they have here. This location’s bread did not seem as fresh as the location on Lake Ave. + The vegetables seem to be of high quality. I got ripe red tomatoes and cool crisp lettuce. No green tomatoes here. + Chips are pretty good. The JJ brand BBQ chips resemble Dirty-brand kettle chips, but with slightly less vinegar flavor. Cons: — Despite ample mayonnaise, the sandwiches seem to be lacking salt and acidity. They use a little ice-cream scooper to put mayo on, too. These sandwiches could use a squirt of vinegar, or pickles by default. — Avocado is a processed squirted«spread» rather than fresh-cut avocados. — Meat is a little stingy for a $ 7.50 sandwich. — When you open up the sandwich from the paper wrapper, it smells like latex gloves and a dentist’s office. I have no idea why. — Even for expensive Pasadena, the prices are a little on the high side. $ 11.50 for a sandwich, chips and a small drink. — Parking is pretty much non-existent around here, unless you crawl up a structure. Pasadena contracted bike-riding meter maids will ticket you in less than 30 seconds(I’ve seen it) if you try to cheat on parking.

This was my first ever Jimmy John’s, so I was excited to try it. There’ s a nice variety of sandwich styles and I have been craving any kind of Italian sub sandwich, so I got a #5 Vito and chips. The bread is pretty interesting. It’s not sawed in half like Subway, but still has one side folded over, like an envelope. I really wanted lettuce, tomato & pickle, but unfortunately they don’t have small pickles for sandwiches. Only a large pickles. That’s ok, tho. I just got the standard preparation, and unwrapped it at my desk. The sandwich was pretty good with fresh-tasting ingredients, so this is a win! I’ll be back. The store was bright & clean, so next time maybe I’ll eat there. The comparisons to Subway are inevitable, and there’s not a clear winner/loser. If you want to tightly control what goes on your sandwich, Subway is the way to go. If you want a less industrial sandwich, I really enjoyed Jimmy John’s. Vito plus chips came out to a reasonable $ 8. There is a seating area behind the counter where you pay.

My first time at this chain. The Sandwich’s are fresh and tasty. Not sure they are«the worlds greatest gourmet sandwich» but they are good and I will go back. 4 for sandwich +1 for convenient and fast delivery!
