Last week my wife & I had a great experience at the Kit & Ace store in Pasadena. From the moment we walked in, we were approached by Edward who told us a bit about the brand; which we had never heard of. Immediately I noticed similarities in the man’s pants to those of Lululemon’s ABC pants(turns out this brand was founded by Lululemon founders). He explained to us about their special fabrics & my wife was immediately excited to try on some items. They are on the pricier side — so I got nervous, ha! They brought me champagne while I waited, which was such a nice touch! Between Ryan and Edward, they treated my wife & I like VIP’s and we ended up purchasing a few items at the store & online. One week later(today) my wife went back to the store to return one of the shirts she purchased. There was something wrong with the fabric. She reported to me that Edward & the other gentleman, a tall sales associate wearing glasses & a black baseball cap(she didn’t get his name — sorry!) took care of the minor issue without hesitation and treated her with such respect & generosity, that I’m inspired to write this review on Unilocal. TOTHEMANAGERSINCHARGE: You have superstars on your team! Edward, Ryan & the tall gentleman with glasses truly know the meaning of customer service. Please let them know they’re doing a superior job and their service is truly appreciated. HUGETHANKYOUTORYAN, EDWARD&THETALLGENTLEMANWITHGLASSES! My wife can’t stop gushing about how awesome you all treated her & we love all our Kit and Ace items.

WHEREHASTHISBRANDBEENHIDING?! My husband & I went to Pasadena for an early dinner. After our meal we walked by KITANDACE(which is located 2 doors down from Lululemon on Colorado Blvd). He liked a polo shirt displayed in the window of this store, so we walked in. Right away it’s obvious how chic this place is. The color palette of their clothing is very neutral — mostly blacks, grays & whites. We love that! The sales associates were super friendly and helpful, they brought us pieces we would have never looked at twice. We were offered champagne or sparkling water — YES&YES — thank you! The sales associates Ryan & Edward were both equally lovely & helpful. Seriously fantastic customer service! My husband & I both walked out with beautiful pieces I’m sure we’ll love for a long time to come. Their fabrics feel like butter! Amazing! We’re looking forward to our next lunch date in Pasadena so we can stop by Kit and Ace again.

This store is so pretty and organize. You have to really like cashmere, I personally don’t like to wear cashmere because personally it makes me itch. But my sister bought a few items and their long sleeve shirts are super soft and warm. Service is great the staff are very helpful and informative but too bad they don’t have a phone number you have to call an 800 number to get through to someone. If you like Lululemon you will like Kit and Ace, kinda like comfy work clothes but more professional looking. Also if you order online they send you a beautiful package kinda feels like christmas when UPS delivers.

We decided to check this new store out since we were already out and about. Their clothing are made of technical cashmere, which is oh so soft and smooth on your skin! The styles are basic and simple, which is great because the style possibilities are endless. They do have a few pieces that have accents to add a little pizzazz. The service is great too. They give you options to try but they are not pushy. The store has an open space which is good because it is not overwhelming. They also have a creative space and encourage artists to stop by. The products are on the pricey side but hopefully worth it. Got an item to try it out. So far so good.

So my understanding is basically that their stuff is similar to Lululemon, but in nicer(merino wool) materials. I found a lot of their products to be just that. However, the popular stuff is very difficult to find and they are still working out locating items in different stores or online via their«service» program. Also, the neck holes on almost all the men’s shirts/sweaters are really big… Hope they iron out the kinks.
