STAYAWAY from this motel! When we first pulled into the motel there were several guys standing around making us feel uncomfortable and weirded out. At first I thought maybe they were doing construction but I did not see any equipment They just kept on staring as if they were being territorial. It was apparent that they work for the hotel or maybe they own the hotel. When I walked in to check in, the lady seemed nice she gave me the keys for room 202. When we were walking up to the room we notice a guy walking out of the room that we were assigned to. At this point I felt really uncomfortable because I kept wondering what was he doing in there? Now for the worst part. The lights for the room were not working. I had to go back down stairs and contact the lady that the lights did not work. She seemed annoyed and upset that she had to assist us. Once the lights were working she started questioning us about the third person we had with us. She said you only booked the room for one person? I quickly replied back«no I booked it for four people.» I honestly felt as if she was bitter because I asked for assistance. Now for the motel itself, we were better with the lights staying off. The room was just gross. The room had dust all over. the blankets felt dirty, they provided us with only half a roll of toilet paper, there was some residue on the shower head, the microwave or refrigerator was not previously cleaned and the carpet was disgusting with stains all over. My whole stay here I did not want to touch anything because it did not feel sanitary. Throughout my stay I did not see anyone cleaning any of the rooms. I doubt they even have a cleaning staff. When I went back down to ask for more toilet paper there was no one in the front to assist me. I feel like I got completely ripped of for what they charged me to stay here. This motel feels like a $ 20 – 40 a night not a $ 80 – 100 a night. I have stayed at cleaner places for the same price.

I stayed here two nights in August 2015 over a weekend. It was nice that they had direct TV and a microwave and mini-fridge but the room was so small. There was barely any room to walk between the bed and the dresser with the TV on top. Carpet was old and there were burn marks in it. The handle on the bathroom door was straight up falling off and the air conditioner looked like it had seen much better days. I can’t complain about the front desk staff but that’s all I can say because it wasn’t GREAT… or even very good really. Just more service industry people getting by on the BARE minimum.

I reserved a room on the afternoon of 7÷27÷2015 for 3 nights for my parents to visit a hospitalized relative. They drove over 14 hours to get to Pasadena. However, when they attempted to check in at 10:00 pm of 7÷27÷2015. The front desk clerk in his limited English told my father that there are NOROOMSAVAILABLE despite the confirmation #. He indicated that we were at fault for reserving online even though the reservation was made through the Knights Inn Reservations website. Further, he then stated that because my parents did not show up to check in at ”check-in time” that there are«no rooms.» I then spoke with the front desk clerk and he repeatedly stated«No rooms, no rooms.» This is extremely unacceptable and infuriating! This is definitely worthy of a BBB Complaint!

The service at this this hotel is amazing. I’m from Hawaii and there was an issue with the booking and no other hotels had rooms. Because of this the owner himself cleaned a room for me as soon as a guest checked out. In addition, he carried all of my bags in and made sure I had a wonderful stay! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel as well as the owner. He is calm and really knows how to run a very professional business!
