Update on my initial review. Although I felt I had a great experience with the initial purchase of my bed and mattress, the delivery, communication, and customer service following my payment has been, by far, the worst purchasing experience I’ve ever had. In short, it took 3 months for my bed to arrive after I had scheduled my delivery for the following week. I had scheduled the delivery for the date that I was moving into my new apartment. After moving in the morning, we rested and waited for the delivery of the bed in the afternoon. When the bed did not show later that afternoon, I called Mattress Liquidation Showrooms(MLS) to see when the bed would be delivered. When I called, they told me the bed was not in stock so it would not be delivered as scheduled. So why didn’t they call to tell me? I don’t know. I was told the bed should be available in a couple weeks and they would contact me to schedule. 2−½ weeks later and still no call. I called MLS again to see where my bed is and again they tell me the bed is not in stock and that they would check again and call me and let me know that when it may be available. A few days later… still no call. I called them again and they still didn’t know when the bed would be available. We decide to have only the mattress delivered so my pregnant wife wouldn’t have to continue sleeping on a futon. Again, I continue to wait for MLS to contact me with updates which just doesn’t happen. Even from any of the 3 partners. During this process, I spoke with all 3 partners(Johnny, Anthony, and Dan C.). Every one of them at one point promised to call me back on more than one occasion and failed to do so. Serious. Is it that difficult to call back a customer who has paid you and is waiting for their bed? Apparently so. The most communication and follow-through I received was from one of their employee’s, also named Dan. I constantly had to call them to see what the status of the bed was. I don’t even think they would have known it was in stock unless I kept calling to have them check because during one of my calls, they put me on hold to call and check and found out it was in stock. Finally after 3 months, they deliver the bed. With the box-spring and mattress on the bed, it is so high that my wife has to jump into bed. When I purchased the bed and mattress set from Dan C. he told me he would get the dimensions of the bed to ensure that wouldn’t happen. Ridiculous! I call MLS and employee Dan tells me that I shouldn’t have been sold the box-spring because that bed frame doesn’t need it. Are you kidding me? So now I have a box-spring taking up space in my other room and again I need to contact MLS to have them take it back. After another 2−½ weeks and much back and forth, they decide to refund me $ 65 for the box-spring I paid $ 100 for. I will never make another purchase from them again and would not recommend anyone else to do so either.
