Been coming here for almost 4 years now and there isn’t a dish I don’t like ! The carnitas are so delicious, you would think you were actually in Mexico eating your grandmas food . Ask Manny for recommendations !

Best carnitas burrito ever. Period. Also really good asada and carnitas tacos. Really nice people who own the restaurant and work there. Cash only.

I love this place. The service is excellent as is the food. I would eat here all the time if they took credit cards, or if I carried cash on me more often! We usually get the vegetarian burritos with an extra side of guac.

Just awesome. As all the other reviews say, the food is so tasty here and I think you can’t go wrong with anything! I work across the way from Mi Casa and order tacos to go pretty often. Every detail from the juicy chunks of meat to the way the food is neatly packed makes me so thankful I work nearby. The staff is always friendly, whether you’re ordering over the phone or in person. They’re always dealing with me making separate orders for multiple people and they never complain. I’ll make it a point to know their names next time, but thank you to the cashier especially for chatting with me from time to time!

The only reason this spot doesn’t get a 5th star from me is because it’s a cash only establishment. We actually came here because I saw this place on Unilocal and we were starving. However having grown up in L.A. and raised on some of the best Mexican food no matter if it was cooked at someone’s mom house or in a restaurant, I feel I’m more than qualified to speak on this matter. I opted for a barbacoa burrito wet and a side of nooales in Pico de gallo and my fiancée a carne asada burrito wet with green chile salsa on top. Mind you we were both starving and I had never not finished a burrito! The portions are hearty and the food is beyond excellent we can’t wait to go back and try more of their awesome food!

I went to this place because of the reviews. SOWRONG !! I guess the people that write these reviews don’t understand how real Mexican food should taste being 100% Mexican I do. We barley walked threw the door and a women behind the counter shouts what would you like to order I was like dam give us a chance to look over the menu she was so rude. Then we were ordering and every time we order something she would say the price like letting us know HEYCANYOUAFFORDTHISTACOORTORTA? We were well dressed plenty of cash and clean. PLEASEUSECOMMONSENSENEXTTIMENOBODYGOESOUTTOEATANDORDERSWITHOUTKNOWINGTHEPRICEDUH!!! We should have walked out because of that but we gave them a chance and worst mistake ever it was DISGUSTING! We will use better common sense next time but not at this place.

If you want a chile relleno as big as your face with mouth watering balanced flavors, this is it, boys and girls. Stuffed with lots of «queso fresco» and they are not shy about their servings. All the dishes are massive. The carnitas are notable by all standards of Michoacan’s real deal. They have grandma secret ingredients and they just melt in your mouth. I’m an extremely picky eater when it comes to my Mexican food because I was raised with homemade Mexican food. These kind folks have the 110% quality customer service. Lorena will always give you her best smile that makes you feel right at home. She is a real doll. I’ve never seen her upset or look stressed out at pick times rush hour. They have lots of chairs and tables to sit down. It is a casual atmosphere. They are awesome to take out as I usually bring it back home to OC. The pickled carrots with the jalapeños are homemade and I absolutely love the potatoes and cauliflower added to its home made uniqueness. Please give it a try it is so refreshing. The red and green sauces are outstanding with balanced flavors. The beans are creamy but not drowning on lard because again I’m an extremely Mexican eater. The Spanish rice is made to perfection. *easy access to parking *ONLYCASH *Be specific what kind of meat parts you prefer. I have to tell them«no skin»(cueritos) on my carnitas only lean meat. (Sorry I’m not into cueritos and the patitas) *ask for the ribs of the carnitas. OMFG! *Excellent for catering parties. Lorena is emotionally intelligent and has a calm personality. In numerous times I’ve had successfully no hassle but so yummo catering orders. Always on time to deliver or pickup or unless they will call you if they have a concern to address. Now the true chefs in the kitchen are Lorena’s parents. This is a true mom & pop Mexican restaurant that has grandmother’s best secret recipes. If your going by I highly proudly recommend this fine little hole in the wall in the heart of Pasadena. disclaimer; I’ve only mention a few items/dishes because everything is delicious and I can write an encyclopedia long about this restaurant. «All pigs go to heaven»(lol)

First, this place is CASHONLY, they have an ATM inside to help with that(2.50 charge). Staff are super friendly! I ordered a carnitas burrito and was in and out in 5 minutes. Solid burrito, the chips and salsa is comes with are great. I like the habinera better than the red salsa, personally. I will definitely come back!

Quite a few years ago I worked near this wonderful«hole in the wall» and was so impressed by the wonderful, wonderful comida! I was just talking to a friend about the chicken mole they have here and was crossing my fingers that they were still open. Well, I just looked it up and plan to visit tomorrow morning for some breakfast. One can truly NOT go wrong ordering just about anything from here! Everything and I mean everything is absolutely delicious, fresh, and just amazing!
Tomorrow. Breakfast. Mi Casa.

I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, never a disappointment. The carne asada and carnitas burrito is delicious. They say they close at 8pm but it’s more like 7:30ish so play it safe and arrive early. CASHONLY(atm inside)

Our«go-to» place for lunch. Mi Casa has great food and service. My only complaint is that they play the radio and the tv quite loudly and at the same time but clearly not a deterrent because the food is bomb!

My wife likes Mi Casa and I’ve generally thought of this as mediocre Mexican food. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t write a review for a middling experience, but I’m compelled to write about a terrible experience. We went for lunch one day and I ordered a simple carnitas burrito. In all my years of living in and around Los Angeles, I have never had as bad an experience with a carnitas burrito as the one at Mi Casa. After a few bites, it was clear that they gave me the fattiest piece of remnant they could find with a few specks of actual meat. Is this worse than old meat(as mentioned in another review)? Probably not, but a flour tortilla, rice, cilantro and cut up fat does not a carnitas burrito make. Never coming here again.

My father in law decided to try this place and recommended my boyfriend and I and we have been coming here for the last three years. Very delicious Mexican food and very affordable. Twenty dollars feeds two people and it includes beans and rice and chips for an appetizer. The owners and staff are very friendly and they get your order right every time. I recommend the red enchiladas with chicken and for desert their homemade churros.

A business started from the secret ingredient in all real Mexican food, familia! Great atmosphere and food is delish! I am a chip and salsa critic wherever I go and the ones here hopped up to to top of the list!

I ordered the caldo de res and one taco de buche. The buche was not what I expected. I remember my dad’s cooking. Buche coming straight out of the«disco» and the crisp and flavor after each bite. Not this time. The caldo had zero flavor. I added the rice they give with it.. nothing! I added lemon, and salt. Again nothing. The cashier brought over a salsa claiming it was a must add. Why do I need to add all these condiments to add flavor? Why the one star? because beer is $ 3 from. 3 to 6
