We finally came, yay! Inside décor and outside lighting is appealing and safe. Menu is small and think it should hv pics. Gyros were yummy. Side salad ok.

So much fun! There was belly dancing tonight with Nula Luna and she was phenomenal. The cabbage rolls were was and delicious. Mom and aunt both had the eggplant ala Mediterranean was so light, evem though it looked like it should be heavy. My cornish hen w/rosemary was so moist. The rice on both was delicious and the salad delectable. The baklava is home made, and definitely not too sweet. Really perfect. Come by Friday and Saturday nights at 7 are belly dancing, and it’s such a fun atmosphere.

The food was very good. I have the Cornish hen with rosemary. The rice it came with was on point. We started with grape leaves and they were a good flavor but in my opinion they needed a bit more filling. The hummus was as expected. Overall this restaurant is very good. The reason I Have 4 stars is due to the menu size. I think there should be some more items on here.

One of the best gyro sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. My wife ordered the chicken kabob and loved it. Owner met us at the table and offered a dessert. We will definitely come back.

Came for a Gyro, which was fantastic! Had grilled chicken and rice, and an off-menu chicken sandwich that was excellent. Service was amazing and incredibly friendly. Very family friendly. If you’ve never been here, you must try it out!

The owner is absolutely wonderful! The food is delicious(I had the Gyro with fries, Hummus and Pita, and the Cabbage Rolls). It’s quaint and tasteful. Domenique himself treated me to baklava for my birthday. Definitely a gem of a restaurant; it did not disappoint.

If I had to come back to Pasadena, this is the place where I would eat. This restaurant is in an older facility, but everything was very clean. Restrooms were very clean — a good sign. Vegetarian option was wonderful – Rice w vermicelli, onions, mushrooms, good spices, hummus, falafel The food was up to par. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the peace and the friendliness of our waiter. I felt welcomed. I probably wouldn’t drive from Houston to eat here, but it was a good experience.

Amazing! The owner was super generous on the pita bread not only that! My friend and I ordered a plate that comes with one item and he gave us two! It was our first experience and it was a great experience! The owner was absolutely attentive and sweet! I’ll definitely come back here again!

Great mom and pop restaurant. The food was wonderful. Beef kabob was outstanding but the gyro was exceptional. The hummus was also impressive. We will certainly go back. It’s a very small space. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with the place once they expand.

The place is located in a shopping center kind of hidden from the street and a little difficult to find. The restaurant is small and gives a great mom and pop feel. The owner(?) was really nice! You can tell he really likes to connect with customers. He told us they were looking to expand and add outside tables, belly dancers on Friday nights, and a hookah aspect to the restaurant. which i hope they do! I was really craving a gyro salad and didn’t see any pictures on Unilocal so I had to try. The salad is very seasoned, almost too much but not quite. The gyro meat is sliced thin and folded. I wish it was cut up so I could enjoy it with each bite. I ordered tzatziki sauce to use for the dressing, but didn’t want to alter anything the first time. Their tzatziki is called yogurt cucumber sauce. And isn’t really a sauce, and is kind of watery. But had great flavor! The waitress mentioned that it comes as a side, so I’m not sure if they will charge us next time to order it, so heads up! One nice feature was that after we finished, my boyfriend and I were about to tell each other we had the seasoning stuck in our teeth. And the waitress showed up with toothpicks. Lol! This is also one of those bring you a can soda places. The owner was walking outside as we had already paid and were about to leave and saw my boyfriends glass was empty, and said to buy him a Coke on the house. It was really nice! The table behind us was having a «When Harry met Sally» moment moaning over their plates! I think they got the kabobs? Will def be going back.

The most tender lamb and beef gyros I have had in a long time! It’s such a hidden gem and everyone that I have brought here absolutely loves it! I have to come here at least once a week!

Our meals were delicious from start to finish! Hummus with soft pita bread, Cornish Hen w/Rosemary and the Eggplant a la Mediterranean, followed by dessert. Excellent service too! We will definitely go back to try other menu items.

Pasadena’s Hidden Treasure! Service was fantastic! Food was delicious! Ambience was so welcoming and pleasant! This was my first time visiting the Olive Tree Mediterranean Grill and it sure won’t be my last! Before I even ordered, I was surprised with a platter of the most tasteful humus and pita bread. I ordered an Eggplant plate and was not disappointed one bit. The Eggplant plate came with rice seasoned with Mr. Dominique’s «Secret Spices» and a side of fresh salad. After our main course, came a platter filled with desserts such as Baklava, and Tamer. I look forward to tasting more creations soon. Thank you!

I went in on Wednesday and had the beef kabob and my friend had the chicken kabob. We also got the hummus with pita and tried the grape leaves! For dessert we tried everything but the rice pudding lol ALL of the food was delicious and on point! Domenique is such a sweet man and had the food out real quick for us! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend it!

This place is really good. I enjoy it every time I take out or eat in. I do wish they offered a few soups like red lentils. They food is quality and the owner is very attentive to the customers. The location is small but I get a feeling they’re going to pick up steam and expand soon. Not a whole lot of places in Pasadena to get Mediterranian/Turkish food, but this place is definitely legit and worth stopping by and trying.

I’m really surprised this place has received positive reviews. The restaurant is tiny and so is the selection on the menu. I ordered the shrimp kebabs with rice and salad. The salad wasn’t bad. It seemed fresh and the dressing was good. The shrimp kebabs were not served on a skewer which I thought was what kebabs were. The shrimp was overcooked and dry. And the rice was very bland. I had to add A LOT of salt and pepper. My mom ordered the cabbage rolls as her meal but it came out with the salad. It was a very small portion. In fact, she said they didn’t fill her up at all. And she wasn’t sure what kind of meat was inside the rolls. Her salad was good except for the long black hair inside of it. My mom has auburn hair so it wasn’t hers. I told her she should say something but she didnt want to. Neither of us were impressed with this restaurant and we definitely won’t return. The man who was waiting on us(I’m assuming he’s the owner) was trying to be funny but we didn’t really appreciate his«sense of humor.» I’m usually a very friendly person but he rubbed me the wrong way. He kept chiming into our conversations. I personally had a difficult time understanding him because of his accent and he made a comment that I wasn’t as «quick» as my mom. That was just rude. He was complimentary of our eyes but some of his comments were unnecessary. Our lunch was $ 31 for shrimp kebabs, cabbage rolls and 2 drinks. We were both disappointed and left wishing we hadn’t wasted our time. We are bummed because we were excited about having a Mediterranean restaurant in the Pasadena area.

First time I ordered take out. «Green beans» for my entrée… A green bean, tomato and beef dish served over rice. Very tasty! It came with a salad which was fresh with nice homemade vinaigrette. The cabbage rolls were nicely done and tasted good with squeezed lemon. The hummus was homemade but under seasoned for me. I added salt but wished for more tahini flavor. The wholewheat pita were thin and not my favorite. The dessert, a pistachio stuffed pastry, was really yummy. Portions are generous. Next time I hope they have soup left. I’m glad they had enough customers at this new place to run out of a few menu items! I found the owner and his nephew to be very charming and friendly.

Found this gem while running around with my mom and new bride. We came in for lunch at an odd hour and ended up ordering take out for supper as well. We had grape leaves, hummus, chicken kebabs and my mom had an okra dish which was the daily special. All three of us thought everything was very well executed from the salad dressing to the seasoning on the chicken. The owner has apparently run restaurants since 1977, retired briefly and returned to a simple one page menu of food he actually likes to eat. Nothing fancy about the décor and the rice the chicken kebabs were served with was ordinary. Everything else sang with flavor. 5 stars.
