The studio is a little tricky to find but thanks to other Unilocalers I knew to look for Piehole. The Indiana Colony building is closer to Raymond street & right next door to Intelligentsia Coffee. The stairs are just past Coolhaus, look for the neon sign. The studio reminds me of NYC with the brick walls and being downstairs. Small waiting area with one couch but the studio itself is a good size. I was greeted right away and set up with some paperwork since it was my first Pop Physique class. Anne gave me a tour and explained what to grab for class(mat &2 sets of weights). Anne A. was great! She was able to check on everyone and make individual corrections. I liked how she remembered names and told us when we were doing a good job. When your muscles are shaking and everything is jello its nice to hear some encouraging words! I wasn’t expecting the floor to be that slippery so next class I’ll definitely bring grip socks. Glad I gave this a try!

Great work out! I wish they would utilize the AC a little more. I also don’t love the music selection. I’ll be back!

I love this studio ! I did a class this morning with Anne. I have terrible form, so I love that she took the time to correct each individual person(which is the whole point of taking a studio class). The studio and equipment are clean, and wipes that we use to wipe down smell great ! The only downside is parking, but if you take an early morning class, I don’t see any issues with parking in the structure. The entrance is also a bit difficult to find. It was located downstairs from the Pie Hole and the juice place. I would definitely take a class again when I’m in town.

Love this studio! So happy they opened in Pasadena! I would definitely recommend this studio to others and already have! The front desk ladies are very sweet and welcoming along with the wonderful instructors. The studio itself is lovely. Hardwood floors, very clean, New York type of vibe(brick wall). The actual space is fairly big and the lighting inside the studio is great! While the workout is going on, the instructor will adjust the lighting(dim to bright and so forth). The lighting is never too bright which is awesome! I know it sounds strange to write about lighting, but I love that it’s more on the dim side and changes depending on what activity is going on! The music is amazing! Really gets you in the mood to workout. Each instructor is lovely. Very knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivating. So far, have loved them all! Each instructor has his/her own twist, so every class is different! Definitely feel sore after every class. Instructors are very helpful and make sure you get a great workout! Love the 4pm classes… Add more :) This time is super awesome for people who finish work earlier and do not want to wait until 5 o’clock classes! Free parking right across the street on Raymond(very convenient). Auto-pay price is on the expensive side(150), however, less than the other barre studios nearby. The workout is just as great if not better and less money, so definitely try this place out!

Came here during their grand opening in which they offered free classes! I opted to park inthe Schoolhouse parking structure, which offers 90 min free parking! It’s a super short walk to this Pop location. It’s located downstairs where Pie Hole and Pressed Juicery is located. You have to go down the stairs. The studio is bigger than the one in San Marino with more barre space for all the attendants. I LOVE the location, in Old Town Pasadena! I was able to experience two instructors. I really liked them. Unfortunately, I forgot their names! Overall, I just LOVE this location but I do feel like the attendants here aren’t as friendly as the San Marino location. Also, I like the SM location just slightly better for their instructors… they really work you! They work you here in Pasadena, too… but I feel they don’t go as hard! Love walking out and exploring the area though!

I’m three classes in and love it so far! Parking isn’t the most convenient but if you can find street parking it’s not too bad. Price is a little steep but less then some other studios in the area. The instructors are really helpful & make sure you feel comfortable and doing everything correctly. I would definitely try pop physique at least once!

I’ve taken 2 of the their grand-opening-promotion free classes and am satisfied with the workout. The hour goes by quickly overall, though some specific workouts seem to last for-ev-er as you engage in excruciating isometric muscle toning. This is a full-body workout, so expect to WERK. Also, I noticed on the thermostat that the temperature was at 75 today. I don’t know if this is something that can be changed or controlled(or if their philosophy is to have the room warmer to loosen muscles??), but I do know that if I didn’t have my water bottle handy, I’d probably pass out. Some other things to note: — Front-desk girl is friendly and knowledgeable. She even remembered my name after having only met me two days before. This is of note because I’ve been a member for over a year at another workout studio and still barely get a friendly smile, let alone a personal greeting! — The place is SMALL. You walk down and immediately see the front desk and a small reception area with one couch, a few small stools, a coffee table, a water cooler, and a small clothes rack with Pop Physique tanks and socks. The actual workout studio is separated by floor-to-ceiling window wall with glass doors. There is ONE workout studio, which you must go through to get to the bathroom. — A tip about the bathroom — there are multiple stalls, so no need to wait for someone to come out like the bathrooms belonging to the other businesses. Minus one star for the warmth of the workout studio, the limited class schedule(due to limited space), and the price! I couldn’t see myself subscribing to their monthly auto-pay membership due to my personal schedule(and budget), but if you went 4 – 5 times a week and can spare $ 150/month, it might be worth it. Overall, a great place to try, especially with their introductory specials currently on promotion. Am looking forward to the next workout!

Barre studio just opened a week ago. I have taken a couple of their free classes and I’ve gotten a great workout each time. Some instructors are better than others. Since class are free, it was at capacity so there was not enough space at barre for some of positions, but overall my muscles were challenged and burning. I liked that classes are smaller so there’s more attention from instructor. My only issue was Tuesday evening class started late. I notice that some during class I couldn’t understand what instructors were saying.

Just opened. I tried the studio in Silverlake, this one is much smaller. You work out to music utilizing a small ball, or 1 to 3 lbs weights, or the barre. One hour class. Couch to sit on in case you get there early. They sell some workout tops. Wipes provided to wipe your mat after the class. 90 minutes free parking, but get there early. A little of a walk.
