Great craft beer selection, and you can’t beat having a whole foods store stocking the bar. Great burgers, poutine, sushi, pizza and oysters!

Hello so this is my first Unilocal review and I wouldn’t do this typically but the food and service were especially bad. I was led to believe that the quality of the food here would live up to the delicious Whole Foods Legacy. But it didn’t. Everything(with the exception of the fries) was burnt. I just want to warn anyone who wants to eat here to just avoid the restaurant and eat in the self serve area instead. Also we have been waiting for our check for nearly 35 minutes. Would give it 0 stars if I could

My wife and I decided to try the place our. She orders a glass of wine and the glass has residual lip stick on it. We show a server the glass and ask for a new one. He replies no problem and comes back with the wine, but when we look at the glass, we notice the top of the glass is the only part missing condensation and that he just wiped it off with a towel or napkin. This is on principle puts this place at 1 star regardless of the quality of food.

Omg this place is great! Tucked in a small corner of the whole foods, open your eyes or you might miss it. There’s shuffle board in there and a TON of beers on tap. They serve flights for you to get your taste on… AND there is some pretty good grub too. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

So recently meeting with my person(like yesterday) he suggested the Shuffle Bar located inside Whole Foods. I love getting our weekly HH with him so I’m always down to try his new picks. Leaving from work in Alhambra, it’s a relatively quick drive up to Pasadena. Parking plentiful, except for almost getting run over by a vehicle, I made it alive to try this place. I arrived around 5:30 pm, my person was probably there a few minutes before me and was there at the table. We looked through the HH menu and I have to say(my opinion) it didn’t seem like there were tons of food choices to choose from. I really should have ordered the burger but it was my mistake. I wanted nachos but it was vegetarian(nothing wrong but really, I want my meat!) so I got the Poutine fries instead. My person got the quesadilla. I ordered the house white wine which was Chardonnay and he got a flight. Ordering in a timely fashion, I eventually had to check on my order because it didn’t come out for about another 30 minutes give or take and every other patron before and after us all had their food. At least I had my drink! Now, I have to say, kudos to the staff here because one of them did come back and comp our meal(not drinks) because she did acknowledge that even to her, our meal was taking abnormally long to come out. I do appreciate that. I still wish I went with the burger. The Poutine fries were ok and the quesadilla was just alright. I think in order to really know if this place is good is to try food from the non happy hour selection. Overall, it was an ok happy hour meal but staff were great.

Dig this place! They have 24 great beers on tap! Most of them craft beer :) They have a cool Monday-Friday special. I know on Friday it’s Fish and Chips(fries) and they let you choose your pint of beer for free. That pretty cool!

By far one of our new favorite places. Yes it’s in the market but we love it. The derby fries I just want to go back for those. Great selection of beer and wine as well. We did a sampler so we can taste some beers. The Ace Space blood orange cider !!! Amazing! We went back last Friday night and they had a special fish and chips and a beer $ 12! And they had hot sauce for the fish! One of my new favorite spots for sure!

Definitely a place you come to in yoga pants. Definitely stay away if you don’t have time to kill on a lazy day(because the service here is slow as hell). Didn’t think I’d find a bar at Whole Foods. Was trying to be healthy and really wasn’t trying to surround myself with alcohol that day but I found myself walking into a bar. at Whole foods LOL. Really like the concept! This place is neat. Came here on a Sunday afternoon to just chill and grub on something healthy. I love Whole Foods so the thought of this new café inside the market was intriguing. They had football on that day! They also had alot of draft beers and a variety of craft beers which is awesome. So the vibe really is a bar/gastropub-esqe, which is great. The food here is BOMBBB and KINDOF healthy!!! Everything tasted so fresh. I assume it’s because they use the produce straight out of the WF market. Between two people, we shared the(1) Pesto shrimp flat bread;(2) Citrus avocado salad;(3) Derby fries. The flatbread was BOMB and crispy. The citrus avocado salad was refreshing and delightful, topped with grapefruit slices and crushed pistachios. The derby fries(fries mixed with avocado aoili) were pretty good! So if you don’t have time to afford to wait. Stay away. Because you’re gonna get impatient because service here is SOSLOW. Slow to get seated, get a server to come to our table to get us menus, to take our orders, to get our food out, etc. I can’t describe it anything else but SLOW. Service really needs to step their game up because it was terrible lol. Customer service just didn’t seem like a priority. Like I said, don’t come here if you don’t have the patience to wait. Also, our order of derby fries never came out. When we asked for it, the server said they’re re-making it because it looked«ugly.» In reality, I think they just forgot to make it LOL. But props for a creative excuse. We got it on the house so that’s cool. I would come again because the food is pretty tasty and felt guilt-free. Not a bad kick it spot. But this is a fair warning: don’t expect a lot from service. Like I said, come in yoga pants.

First time in for a quick brunch and to catch up with the Patriots vs Broncos game. Nice surprise inside the Whole Foods in Foothill. I ordered the Mushroom Flatbread Pizza which was absolutely delicious and a Blood Orange Beer which was very good and sweet at the same time. I will be back and the Broncos are leading at half time which is fine with me since I am a Giants and a ABTP fan(anybody but the Patriots).

Now how often can you walk into a bar and drink ridiculous amounts of great draft beers and eat wings, sushi, nachos, burgers and flat breads while leaving feeling good about yourself? Usually never but when you do it at Whole Foods and you add on the best service from Jaime and his team you leave feeling like you just had your best workout. Push-ups, sit ups and crunches have nothing on this. The food is great; the beer selection better and the service the best — get your shopping done for the week and top it off with a beer, enjoy a game of shuffle board and have some wings. Feeling risky? Their locally draft beers are always a must and their menu opens your eyes to things you’ve never considered. A must do if you’re in the area, and if you’re not make your way over. Much love,

To the employees sitting at the bar and the bartender Patrick. I don’t care to hear about who’s sleeping with who at The Whole Foods. I came here to relax, have dinner after work, and enjoy some wine. Had the worst night ever. So came here to retreat. Very unprofessional. He was too busy chit chatting with his friends to provide me any service. Only paid attention to the regulars instead of making new regulars. I was in the restaurant business for over 8 years and that’s not how it’s done. The previous server/bartender must have transferred me to him and left at some point. I can walk here from my house and I expect more. I just moved back home after 23 years. I have a right to expect better. I have been here three times this week. I raved about the service to all my friend with one of the girls. Her name begins with an A. I’m only going when she is there. Crappy chicken sandwich to boot. Tasted burnt.

New restaurant bar located at Whole Foods in Pasadena off Foothill(same plaza as Vroman’s Bookstore and Einstein Bagel’s). My husband and I decided to grab lunch here last Sunday afternoon around 1 pm. This place is small but had quite a few tables inside(and out) to choose from. But we opted to sit at the bar. We were acknowledged by the bartender and given menus. After browsing through it, we ended up ordering: (Currently on Thursdays and Sundays you can get a beer and an order or wings or an order of any of their flatbreads for only a mere $ 10) Fig & Prosciutto Flat Bread Pizza–(Normally $ 12 prior to tax) — A good size for sharing with another person. Thought the flatbread had a nice savory, yet sweet taste. But it also had bleu cheese on it, which I am not quite a fan of. Golden Road Hefeweizen(Normally $ 6 prior to tax) — A smooth beer, according to my husband. I am not a beer drinker so I didn’t have any. He liked his beer. Char– Roasted Brussels Sprouts, $ 6 prior to tax– The amount you get for the price is pretty good and excellent for sharing. I thought it was a nice surprise to find pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries in this side dish. This also comes with bacon, but I asked for it to be on the side(which my husband added to his burger). The garlic aioli was nice, wished there a little more added side for additional dipping. The Brussels sprouts itself was tender. Lamb Burger, $ 10 prior to tax– My husband ordered this medium. It came with a nice size side salad. The dressing wasn’t overly dressed and happy that it was made with the dark green leafys. The burger itself was tender and a great size. But both my husband and I wished the bun itself was a little smaller or a little less bread like(if that makes sense). We both did like that there was pepper on top of the bun though. Tiger Roll,(4 pieces) $ 7 prior to tax– For any of the rolls, you have the option of having it made with white or brown rice. Being the health conscious person, I opted for brown. I was a little disappointed that for the price I paid, it came with only 4 small pieces. But it was good. This dish would be better if it was charged at $ 5 instead of $ 7. — — — — — — — — — (Total= $ 35.97 after tax, prior to tip) The bartender who served us was great at refilling our water glasses and taking away our dirty dishes. She was efficient. Food was great and service was also great. There are daily specials that I definitely would like to check out in the future. Will come back for sure. And real random, but being that this place is called Shuffle Bar, there is a shuffle board here in the middle of the bar/restaurant. No one was playing but I am sure you could the next time you come by.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of this eatery, being a fan of 110& Bellevue in the Arroyo store(and not a fan of the 210 traffic). I am pleased that the menu is quite similar. I’m not too thrilled with the ambiance, though. I am puzzled as to why they thought using the shuffle board theme was a good idea. You used to see these in bars back in the 90’s, but does anyone really play this anymore? The thing just takes up space that could be used for seating. They have a great beer selection, but the wine list is not as good as at 110& B. Wines are only served by the glass. The waitress let me go into the store to buy a bottle to bring in, but that was a bit inconvenient. I hope this issue gets fixed.

tl;dr: –Great beer selection at affordable price –Special menu items vary by day(i.e. 3 tacos+beer for $ 10) –Shuffleboard available to play for free — just need to leave an ID PARKING: Shared lot. Can get a bit crazy on weekends. FOOD: –Tacos: Generous protein serving(choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian). They’re served on corn tortillas with two salsas on the side. Salsa portion was a bit small, but I’m sure you can ask for more if needed. BEER: Surprising variety(hello hell or high watermelon and grapefruit sculpin), but then again, they are in a Whole Foods :) SERVICE: Always friendly. Food service can be slow at times, but they’re always prompt with initial drink orders! Fantastic addition to the neighborhood. It’s the perfect«screw cooking let’s just go out» type of dinner place.

Nice atmosphere and great selection of Draft beers. I just find the service at this restaurant and other Whole Food style restaurants sub par .I never see a manager making the rounds Checking on customers and our case the waitress just missed more potential sales by being almost absent until we had to flag them down. I really hope they improve in this area, as I like the concept and locale.

Fun atmosphere we can play shuffle. The have 5TV’s which makes it an ideal sports bar… specials on Tuesday and Thursdays but the game beer wings or flatbread for $ 10 Better burger — 100% pasture raised beef and half umami mushrooms. A surprising and wonderful combination. My only complaint is that the buns are a bit Thick for the burger. The fries are excellent! I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu.
