We ordered the crisp calamari, pepperoni & wild mushroom pizza, and sausage & mushroom rigatoni. The complimentary bruschetta(which came without the bread) went very well with the items we ordered. Overall, everything was delicious and appetizing.

Quality is way worse this before. Saturday night there are only few tables filled. There must be a reason for that. The mussel I ordered smelled bad, 34USD Rib eyes is not even as good as Denny’s. So disappointing. Never come back.

Pretty nice and reasonably priced Italian place for downtown Pasadena. The food is well made and fresh. The problem is its downtown Pasadena and it has a bar right there so if you are looking for a quiet and intimate date night this isn’t it. And of course I won’t mention parking.

The complimentary bread and bruschetta totally sold me! I ALWAYS want it at an Italian restaurant but I don’t always have the appetite for/want to splurge on an appetizer and entrée. The place was pretty empty around lunchtime which was nice. Our service was super accommodating and friendly! I wasn’t blown away by my salad, but it was good(and like I said, I felt like I got a complimentary appetizer that was delicious!). My sister was very impressed with her chicken dish. I’m looking forward to trying more dishes here! This will definitely replace Cheesecake Factory for us!

Sangria, red or white. So refreshing on a warm spring night. Spinach salad with fruit and goat cheese so tasty. Fettucini with chicken was in a savory brown gravy pesto sauce. No bread which I think is a great idea. The food fills you up. Loved the sangria!

Food and service were good. The cocktail list stated fresh muddled limes and club soda but I sent back two drinks that tasted like cheap mix and seven up. Stick to wine.

If I could give zero stars that’s what this rating would be. Probably one of the worst dining experience ever. I used to love dining at this resto at their old location. What happened guys? Service was ter-ri-ble! Took about 15 mins after we were seated for anyone to acknowledge us. Another 15 to get our drinks and place our order. We had to flag someone down to ask for bread. Wow. I will just stop here.

The dining area is small but it is very nice inside. No table cloth on a Saturday night. Hmm. We were not offered bread. Not sure why an Italian place don’t offer bread. My Di Mare pasta was OK. 3 muscles, 3 clams, some squid rings, a large scallop that was cut into small pieces, and few very small shrimps. Tiramisu is a must eat. I thought it was good. It is decorated with a few strawberry slices and whip cream. I thought our service was pretty good.

I have walked by this place so many times and finally I stopped to try it today. The foods here are delicious! I ordered the Minestrone soup and spicy shrimp Linguine. They both came out so great! I also like their house bread with tomato, it was warm and fresh. The service here is very friendly and attentive. I am glad that I found another Italian restaurant on my list when I am in old town Pasadena!

I love this place, only on work days and primarily because nobody else from work seems to come here. It’s a strange ambience that’s half dim restaurant(unless you’re sitting outside or at the booth next to the windows) and half bar — Ya know, it’s got the slight funk of a bar, except you’re sober — it’s reminiscent of how you feel when you’re at the club too long and the lights come on. Consider this place more of a two rounded up for getting to eat in solitude. Service is very friendly and prompt but the food always leaves me disappointed — but whatevs. Some of my other coworkers seem ok w it so it may just be my buds that are off here, everything just seems so darn salty/oily/creamy — or, in the case of the caprese, too sparse and disjointed, reminding me of a deconstructed, partial salad for almost 10 $. def skip. Get the red sangria… Or the white, if you’re in the mood for drinking some peachie o’s. Happy hour all day Monday’s and 4 – 7 t-f. get a pitcher for 25 $! Great for drinking your way through that first painful start to the week. A side note to any of my coworkers that may be reading this, if you see me here, know that I do not want to talk to you. This place is for alone time. Let’s save it for the office and just pretend we don’t see each other for the time being so we can enjoy our lunches in silence — at separate ends of the room.

This place is a complete customer service joke and I am equally as foolish to have attempted to go there TWICE. At lunch I was sat outside and no one ever came to my table. I had my dog with me so after waiting outside for 20 minutes with no service I left. It wasn’t even busy. I had a bunch of errands to run so when I finished I tried again. I was at least given a menu this time. I waited 25 minutes with no service. When someone saw I was leaving they just asked who sat me in the first place. I doubt a place like this cares about their Unilocal reviews since they don’t care about their customers.

The food here is delicious! I walked in no reservations on a Tuesday at 5pm and was pleasantly surprised that they have 3-course happy hour special for $ 19 I think this place is classy and I love the retro-Jazz ambiance music. This place is very inviting with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a great wine selection. The server Marco Antoni was very nice.

Sorriso is a restaurant, bar, club, and lounge all rolled into one! I just remember ordering the chicken marsala and it was very good! I would have preferred that it be served with potatoes instead of fettuccini so that it could preserve that delicious marsala sauce. After dinner, we migrated to the upstairs bar/lounge for drinks. The modernly decorated lounge seating was for bottle service patrons only, but we were allowed to stand around and mix and mingle while getting liquored up. Parking in Old Town Pasadena is a challenge. Sorriso has valet parking, but I’m not sure how much it costs. Structure parking is about a block or more away and there is metered parking scattered around Colorado Blvd and the surrounding cross streets. I would just be mindful of the signage and carry lots of spare change.

I’ve walked by here lots of times and thought the food looked good, so I finally stopped to try it today. Their outdoor seating is dog friendly! You can order from both the Italian entrée menu and Spanish tapas menu, which is interesting. I had the rustic bread, and a panini/soup half and half. The bread is good, but just a little charred, as was the salmon in the panini… but otherwise the meal was fine. I liked the balsamic vinaigrette in the panini and the minestrone soup was pretty seasonal. If you sit outside, you can also people watch, which is generally nice in Old Pasadena. They also do $ 5 sangria on Sundays, which I’d like to try next time.

We were attracted to this place because of the aroma and sight of what looked to be like a delicious sizzling platter of mussels. We had dinner here and service was decent. I think what was lacking most was definitely the food. Prices were a bit high also based on the quality of the dishes. We had the mussels appetizer and that was around $ 13. Since they were broiled they were shriveled up and the edges of the mussels were very black. The meat inside each shell was very minimal and disappointing. I ordered the Ciopinno for my entrée($ 30). It had various seafood within a tomato soup like watery broth. There was king crab legs, fish, mussels, clam, squid and I think a few tiny scallops. The broth could have definitely been more flavorful. The seafood was okay, definitely didn’t taste very fresh and appetizing. I would definitely never order this again, biggest waste of money, along with those mussels. My friend had the salmon and she said the sauce was delicious and made the salmon itself taste better since the salmon was too dry. Overall, I wasn’t too satisfied with my dinner here at Sorriso. It’s overpriced and the flavors and quality is really lacking here. Sad to say but I would have preferred the Cheesecake Factory over this place and I don’t even really like the Cheesecake Factory.

My fiancé and I came here this afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. The place was pretty empty but then again it was 4:30 on a Monday. We sat outside since we had our small dog Nino with us. Side note. I came here with my girlfriends earlier in the year and we all had pastas that were very yummy! The restaurant offers Italian and Spanish food so this time I wanted to try something from their Spanish menu which is all tapas. We tried the herb goat cheese croquettes and the shredded chicken empanadas. Both were absolutely delicious! My fiancé is very picky about goat cheese but said that it was one of the best goat cheese dishes he ever had. I really enjoyed the light flakiness of the pastry from the empanada. I must add that the portion sizes are very small, there were two empanadas and two croquettes. but again it is tapas and they were only about five dollars each. For my entrée I had the salmon salad which had tomatos, Mandarin oranges, fried leeks, and it was heavily dressed in a dill dressing. It was so good and very satisfying for a salad! My fiancé had the lamb chops which came with a side of couscous and spinach. There was also some dark berry dipping sauce for the lamb. My fiancé said he really enjoyed it overall. The service was pretty good. although the entrees took a tiny bit longer than I anticipated. The waiter was friendly and took pictures of us, he also brought out water for our dog :) Our check was about $ 60, so not too bad for a really yummy dining experience. We will be back!

The food was totally unexpectedly not as good as what I was expecting. Glad I didn’t order more. The mussels were cracked in pieces and burnt, they were charred and the wrapped dates(*note dates are sweet) they had a great idea, wrap in ham, add some blue cheese for contrast but smother them in honey? Too much. Too much bro. BUT I have to admit the service was quite wonderful. Very nice. If they can step up their food game… the ambience is good and right off the Colorado strip of pasadena

I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and ambience here on a recent visit to Pasadena. I was with two other people, so we ordered three different dishes and shared. I picked the meatball sandwich with insalata mista on the side instead of fries. The girl got the penne pesto chicken pasta, and the other guy ordered the grilled ribeye. I enjoyed the full flavors of the pasta, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly to medium rare. And my sandwich? It was quite possibly the best meatball sandwich I have ever had! House made seasoned meatballs with a side of pureed marinara sauce, fantastic and tender bread with melted provolone. I think I shall return.

The food here is just not that great. My girlfriend and I came in on a Friday night and it was completely empty. That was an instant red flag, but we really wanted Italian and didn’t want to wait at the crowded restaurants. We ordered the pasta primavera, grilled chicken pizza, and mista salad. The pasta was just too bland; the ingredient did taste fresh, but it just wasn’t mixed/tossed very well. The grilled chicken pizza was really dry and the dough was pretty thick. Definitely not the hand tossed, thin crust pizzas I am use to at other Italian places. The only part of the meal I liked was the mista salad and the little bread/tomato appetizer they gave us. Service was good, our waiter was really nice and checked up on us often. Will I come again? Probably not for their Italian food, but I may come back to try their tapas cause the steamed clams smelled really good.

I think the service was most memorable here. We came here for my friend’s birthday. Our server seemed a bit off the entire night. He also seemed a little eccentric. My boyfriend swears that the server was drunk which would make sense lol. The food looks good. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try any. The drink selection is small. And they still have Christmas decorations up which is funny. I would probably go back once more to try some of their tapas.

Pros: Buenos precios y buen ambiente. Ubicado en en precioso Old Town Pasadena. Contras: servicio bastante lento. No hay parqueadero gratis, pero hay varias posibilidades donde dejar el carro.
