Today(Jan. 26, 2016) when I stopped in for a late lunch(2 p.m.) at this Subway store I was very disappointed. When I walked in I noticed there were 2 customers in line at the cash register and 2 others eating their food at a table. In other words, it was not busy. I walked up to the counter to order my food and looked at the cashier who was busy with a customer and never looked my way. I thought maybe she would at least acknowledge that I was there, but she didn’t, not even when her customer left. There were 2 other employees(young Latina women) who were standing next to the cashier talking to each other. One was putting on an apron with her back to me and turned around at one point, looked directly at me, then turned her back on me without even a second glance to continue her conversation with her co-worker. As far as she was concerned, I did not exist. I waited at the counter about 5 — 7 minutes, looking directly at the 2 young employees, thinking that eventually someone would say something to me, at the very least. I was wrong. So, I left. And I do not plan to return – EVER! I’m not sure what was going on – were the 2 employees talking amongst themselves on a break? Whatever it was, customer service was not on their minds. Not one of the three employees acknowledged that I was there and it wasn’t like I was hiding. If this type of employee behavior continues, they will not have to worry about having customers or even having a job because they will be out of business. Wonder where the manager was and if s/he is aware. If not, I sure hope s/he is soon before they go under.

Good location on Fair Oaks and Orange Grove. Line moves pretty quick, I eat here for lunch so I appreciate that. They also have a huge parking lot, so parking is never an issue.

I don’t know why I keep coming back here, because they’re the worst Subway in Pasadena, hands down. The crew is all very nice, but they’re slow, incompetent, and they skimp on toppings. Their only consistent feature is their inconsistency.

Very unorganized and kind of dirty, there’s tuna in the ham and meatball sub sauce everywhere. Hope you’re not allergic to seafood or anything. Cross your fingers you don’t get food poisoning.

This is not the FIRST time the store does not have ingredients. I arrived with My Wife and 3 Hungry Kids and they are not prepared. The store is located in an unfavorable part of Pasadena as it is. Come on Subway get it together. Who is in charge? Obviously the young workers in the store need some guidance.

This Subway is in a hood location with cat calling men outside all day. If you can get past that, this location is ok. I visit sparingly but it’s not the worst. The service is ok and you’re in and out the door in five minutes. The food is consistent with other Subway’s I’ve visited. Sometimes I just want a tuna sandwich, Salt and Vinegar chips, and a White Chocolate macadamia cookie, so I make a Subway visit. :/

If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what this subway would get. Overall I think the quality of Subway is declining, however this Subway was the WORST I’ve ever been to. The staff wasn’t friendly, my «steak» tastes like old rubber, and the bread is NOT fresh… period. And to top it off, I found a hair in my cookie. I will not be frequenting this or any other Subway… ever again. If you want a good quality deli sandwich, go to a real deli… not Subway.

Subway quality gets worse and the prices keep rising. Ate a Buffalo Chicken FOOTLONG $ 6. I asked the employee if they used real chicken or the processes stuff. The girl said they use real chicken. That was a lie. The meat was processed chicken. In fact all meats look like they’re processed at Subway. The bread tasted like rubber and the veggies looked mushy. I miss they good old days when they actually sliced the meats. Id rather pay more and goto jersey mikes or Lees sandwiches.

I have gone to this subway for lunch maybe a dozen times. NEVERAGAIN. I keep hoping that the horrible service was a fluke. Not the case. Employees in no way exemplify customer service. They look miserable and act it. Several times I asked for olives on my sandwich and they count the olives and will remove one if they put one too many. My next point for the managers and owner. There are so many alternatives in Pasadena. You have permanently lost my business and I have spread the word at work. Word of mouth goes a long way, as does Unilocal reviews. Quality and customer service does not exist at your establishment.

I took the kids here for a late night snack, and we ordered the $ 5 footlong. I thought the commercial said ANYFOOTLONGSANDWICH, but that wasn’t the case. Not all the sandwiches were $ 5 and of coarse it had to be the sandwiches that they like to get that were not $ 5. So I ended up paying $ 14. I gave them 5 stars because they made both of the sandwiches so fat, you could have made another footlong with it.

Came here for lunch… we were the second people in line… There were 3 people working… 2 making the sandwiches and 1 working the cashier… The line was moving super slow!!! by the time it was our turn to order there were 4 other parties behind us in line. Ordered the Spicy Italian… they threw it together, and I had to ask them to toast it 3 times, until they did. roast beef: «sorry can you wait couple of min, they are making it in the back»… my first thought, cool it is just being made… subway eat fresh!!! haha 4 min later, we asked how long it would take them to make it… she said«well its frozen so we are defrosting it right now»?? SAYWHAT??? the eat fresh place freezes their roast beef? FAIL!!! ordered something else… cashier asked for here or to go… for here please. hands me the sandwiches chips and drinks… what no tray? GEEEZZZ… and no napkins? and when I ask you for napkins when we are 2 ppl dont hand me ONE! we’re not gonna share! You need to repeat yourself too many times while ordering, workers have no smile on their face, and its obvious they hate working there!!! Not a fan… at all!!!

The manager Alex is super nice. The food is great. The employees unfortunately are not always friendly and pleasant. They have a Latina girl working there and she is absolutely amazing. I think she is a shift supervisor. She wears glasses I think. Friendly and kind. Many others are just there with attitude.

First off… If you don’t like your job quit and find another one but don’t take it out on my sandwich! My 5 dollar steak and cheese(the only reason why I came in…$ 5) was just thrown together. The guy was rude and the other people working there were on the phone not taking care of the other 3 – 4 people behind me and the 2 infront of me. Great training. I will NEVER come back here. I’ve been here many times. Even when this restaurant is empty, the service is slow. When it’s crowded, I drive by. Other than the slow service(which really can’t be understated), it’s a typical Subway.

This(points to self) doesn’t do Subway sandwees’s all that often. I find them too dry. If I want a sandwich, I want to be blown away by it, not just sustained until my next meal. Of course, if you’re starving, or just lazy, they will do just fine. There are tons of newer eateries that have popped up recently like Mis Amiguitos that are across the street. There’s also a Chinese place and a Tastees right next door. Subway usually has a built in fanbase, and that’s most likely who you will see. Subway is all kinds of neutral.
