My mom and I stopped by this store this afternoon. My mom’s friend had told her that this is her favorite Talbots store location because they have a great selection for petite sized women. And she was right, because half of the store is the petite boutique. My mom was so happy (and now wants me to bring her to this location over the location at the Santa Anita Mall) to find sweaters and long sleeve shirts.
There was one long sleeve shirt she did find in the other part of the store (not petite size) and couldn’t find the same one in the petite boutique. She asked one of the employees if they had one in petite. This employee looked on the computer and said there is one available upstairs in their inventory. She left and eventually came back with the shirt (which really made my mom happy).
I don’t normally shop at Talbots because they are rather expensive. But their clothing is made well and are nice (and fashionable). Even with their currently sale on the clearance items, the clothes are still pretty pricey. So even after I had tried on 2 skirts that fit me well, I decided not to purchase it. It is doubtful these items I liked will go down significantly cheaper, but I will look to see on my next visit here.
Anyways, just wanted to mention that this particular location is dog friendly (but most Talbot locations normally not, according to the employee I asked), so I will definitely bring one of my dogs the next time I take my mom here. Also there is a unisex restroom (clean on this visit) in the back in case you need to use it. But it is locked so you will need an employee to unlock it for you.

I want to thank to Linda for her help over the phone, was closing time, she was so patient looking for my scarf. This store have good costumer service. Always welcoming there costumers, helping through there sales. Thank you again having Linda as a manager, she is awesome. I give this store 100 000… stars. But it’s 4 or 5 is showing

Have been a loyal customer for years and years. 70% of my wardrobe was purchased from Talbots. During a recent shopping spree there, i was also looking for a matching top for a skirt. Could not find anything to match. I showed the skirt to the manager and asked her if she would keep an eye on her inventory in the future. I also e mail her a photo of the skirt. She reassured me that she would find something from the upcoming shipment. I waited for about 2 months and did not hear from her. I then phoned the store and was told the manager went on a one week vacation. A message was left with the assistant manager for her to call upon her return. She never called. When I finally reached the manager, she said she had been incredibly busy. Too busy to return calls? Really? I find what they are good at is to render lip service and nothing else. Is this the «reward» I get from being a loyal customer? They always say what you want to hear but never follow up with any action. They are not very skillful in keeping their customers.. .

Great customer service! I went in on a whim and ended up buying 2 v neck tops for work. Love the quality as these tops are not see through like other brands.

I’m a Talbots Awards member and I shop frequently when they have sales. It’s a very nice store with knowledgeable sales staff. Lots of little old ladies from Pasadena and well-​to-​do Chinese women. It’s not cheap, but excellent quality merchandise. You can do well during their frequent sales. A Talbots Awards member gets advance notice of upcoming specials.

Went in the other night to exchange a pair of «boyfriend» jeans — they run small. As I waited to finish the exchange got to talking with the saleswomen regarding the fit of pants. They told me the new skinny jean — was a great fit — so I purchased a pair, great fit indeed! Also– they overheard that I was a teacher and discounted the «boyfriend» and skinny jeans! Lucky me — I’ll be back…
